My daughter is having the time of her life. Mike the trainer at 24E is amazing. He is always welcoming and giving to everybody. My daughter is 8. She has been training with Mike for several months. She loves him to say the least. She is a quiet little girl dont talk to nobody. Well the amazing Mike broke the ice and she is now stronger than she has ever been. They have a surplus of 5 star reviews because they tell people write a 5 star review and you get to “spin the wheel for a prize”. Although it’s great the gym is 24/7, it has major flaws.
For instance, equipment gets broken and it does not get repaired. This is a safety hazard. I brought it up to staff that the seat to the ab coaster was broken weeks ago and it still has not been fixed (mind you it’s been broken for months when I did my tour before signing up.) The seat pops off when you put weight on it and I watched someone hit their knee on the metal. Why not invest into your equipment for people’s safety?
The trussville location is smaller and has very limited area to do free workouts with a mat and weights. Well, sometimes this small area is blocked off with staff that are training members which makes it so others aren’t able to grab a mat due to lack of space and not be able to access balls, dumbbells, etc. since it is blocked off.
Another flaw is they have no rule stating if the gym is busy to limit workout on machines to ___ minutes. Couples will sit on machines doing 2% working out, 98% talking for 30 plus minutes! Most gyms have rules to prevent this, especially during peak hours to make it fair and efficient for members.
Members are also limited to locations. I was told when signing up I wasn’t able to go to two different locations, such as downtown Birmingham. If it’s the same company, why am I limited access when there’s not that many locations to being with? Planet fitness would never.
The tanning beds also don’t get wiped down by staff between members. it’s an extra $11 month to month for outdated beds with old bulbs that don’t make a difference. I don’t even lay anymore because the bulbs haven’t been changed so it’s pointless. The tanning area feels dirty and unfinished.
I will say staff is very friendly and they do have a great selection of machines to pick from (when they’re not broken, that is). I do like that they sell drinks and snacks on the side.

Evie is the best!! I thought she was rather abrasive at first but the more I came in the more I understood her personality and she is super sweet and helpful. She can also make a mean smoothie! The gym is also very reasonably priced, I'm currently a premium member and I cannot recommend it enough. If you have family or if you actually care about your physical well-being you need to ask about premium!! It's a small gym which is a major plus for me. Equipment is always clean easy to understand. Staff is phenomenal. After several months of coming here I feel confident in saying this gym (and it's staff) has changed my life. Ask to speak to Evie and make the positive decision!

I have been going to 24e regularly for the past year. I love this gym. Everyone-EVERYONE is so friendly. The front desk staff, the trainers, the class instructors, the childcare staff, and the other gym members. I have literally never met or had a bad experience with anyone here.

I love that the childcare isn’t limited- I don’t feel like I have to restrict my workouts or rush out or watch the clock. My children have had opportunities to participate in workouts as well. It makes them feel included and I appreciate them having opportunities to see what Mommy is doing and how I am prioritizing my health.

I have worked out with a few of the trainers and each is motivating and pushes me to be better while remaining positive and upbeat. They have several options for training schedules too in order to accommodate different situations.

What initially got me hooked at 24e though was the unlimited classes. There is such a variety and they are included with membership. At first, I was not especially comfortable working out in the main gym and so I stuck to classes where I could find myself a little corner and progress quietly on my own. The instructors are all super personable and make an effort to make everyone welcome. It wasn’t long until I became a class regular. And from there growing into a gym regular.
It’s been a year and it’s been hard but I get up and go because I love how I feel after working out here. 10 of 10 I would recommend.

I have been a member of 24e since about 2018 and have enjoyed it ever since. The staff, group fitness instructors, and other members of the gym are all so nice and helpful. I’ve been in the group fitness classes since joining, and have tried a majority of the classes and love them! The instructors are always engaging, welcoming, and cheering on participants along their journey. After years of being in class, I made the decision to also become a group fitness instructor for BodyPump at 24e. It’s a great facility with great staff, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Love 24e! I originally started going to the Trussville location as my New Year’s resolution and was welcome with open arms. A new place can always be stressful especially when it comes to fitness goals but this is truly the best place for a new start! It’s always so clean and the staff is always so nice. Love the environment of this gym! All of the trainers and staff are very personable and encouraging! They are always there cheering you on or handing out a way to go fist pump. They make you want to show up even on days you just aren’t feeling it. I have trained one on one with Faith Weber and saw physical results so much faster than I could have achieved on my own! She has made me push myself harder than I knew I could. She has taught me work out moves and shown me machines that I never would have attempted on my on. I have ditched my at home Peloton work outs for 24E Trussville and I am not looking back!

When I first started going to 24 e Trussville I was lost how to even start the trade mile 🤦🏽‍♀️I was even lost on what I was even doing at the gym but then I decided to go with a trainer . I was talking to Kaylyn & she was giving me advice on what I needed to do & to work on . Then I started to tell her my goals & what I was willing to do . Then the next day we did slight workout 🏋🏽‍♀️ nothing major . Then the next day I signed up for Kaylyn to train me as a trainer. She pushed me to where I am today I started at 220 now I’m down to 161 pounds my goals was to build muscle 💪🏽, lose weight . Kaylyn pushing you to your fullest potential.
