Very clean, lots of great equipment, a judge free environment, and trust me I know this first hand im very out of shape and have felt very welcomed and comfortable since the first day I walked in. They have very clean restrooms and lady's we all know important that is especially in a gym. All around great place price is definitely competitive I think. So this definitely the place for anyone.

After years of a paid membership, I am so disappointed that my emails, facebook messages and phone calls have NOT been returned by Anytime Fitness Trussville. Each time they've hired a new manager, I was told they would honor my PT sessions that they withdrew from my checking account while I was with my son who was fighting for his life in NICU and Children's Hospital. The management team KNEW I was unable to come to the gym and assured me they would honor my sessions when I returned. That was clearly not true. I was told most recently by Calvin that they would honor this request as soon as he added them all up because they owed me so many. That wasn't true either. Before Calvin, I would show up for early Friday morning sessions by the Manager who missed EVERY SESSION with me except the first one, and he was late. The only way to get a response is to cancel membership with them. I joined a gym for better health and to be a part of a community of friends with the same goals. I wish the owner and team cared more about clients. My experience with my first trainer, Ethan, was exceptional but he now works in real estate. So all was not bad at this location. But, the past year of attempts on my end have not been satisfactory at all, so I will not recommend them.

If you plan on joining in Trussville, be prepared to pay double. My advice, get your membership somewhere else, around $35 a month, do your month probation, then you have access to all anytime's. Then you can come to Trussville.

I would give this gym 0 stars if I could! I was charged for 2 months after my contract ended and when I called to figure it out the manager was impolite and careless and refused to do anything about the issue. When I asked for a supervisor or corporate number to contact someone above this ignorant man named Ethan that manages the Trussville location, I was told he could not give out that information. I told him I would just stop the payments through my bank and he threatened to turn me into collections!! After no luck over the phone, I went down to handle the issue in person only to be yelled at and cursed at and get no where at resolving the issue. What kind of place treats its customers this way?!?!?! All this gym cares about is your money. They not only lack customer service but are rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional! They will scam you, trick you and charge you for anything and everything they can come up with. I will never use an Anytime Fitness Gym again due to the jerk that runs this location! Fair warning... DO NOT SIGN UP AT ANYTIME FITNESS! They will scam you anyway they can!

Went to college & was able to freeze my account, but then they automatically started charging me randomly & continued to overdraft my account & did not care when I tried contacting them about it. Being a broke college student & then having an overdraft out of no where because of anytime fitness repetitively is not helping my situation at all and they could care less. So needless to say, these people just want your money. Find another gym who is more understanding & actually cares about their customers. 24/e across the street I've heard nothing but great things about, I would recommend going there instead.

I LOVE being a member of Anytime Fitness. Everyone there is great. My trainer is FABULOUS, even when I'm slacking or not at my best. If I haven't been to the gym in a while, they will call to make sure I'm okay and see if there is anything they can help with. The staff ALWAYS greets you with a smile. You have an individual FIT book with a personalized exercise program just for you. My trainer recently modified my program for a foot injury so I could continue to work out without further injury.

Anytime Fitness Trussville, Al gets Five Stars in my book. I went in to Cancel my membership and was talked out of it by Ethan and John Ortis who gave me my fit book and a fitness plan.And since then I have lost 19 lb. and fell a 100% Better.

Out of the several gyms I have been a member of, Anytime Fitness Trussville is the best by far. What makes this gym more awesome than the others (including the other Anytime Fitness gyms) are the amazing, professional people that work there. I have never felt more motivated in myself to keep in shape. They developed their own fitness workout, O.R.T.I.S. Fit Book, that has amazing outcomes. Trust me, I have seen a tremendous improvement on myself! Lastly, not only are they professional trainers, they treat you as a friend and make you feel like you are apart of the Anytime Fitness Trussville family!!!

I love the gym, because it is not just a gym it is a fitness center where they are more concerned about losing fat instead of just losing weight. I have been looking for a place like this for a long time. And they have Zumba which I have been looking for Zumba for over a year.

This place is awesome! Love the staff. I'm a 54 year old guy who was totally lost and clueless about working out when I came in here. But these guys put me at ease immediately and were totally non intimidating. They got me to believe in myself and taught me how to work out and that was part of the membership it didn't cost extra.... It really seems like they care about the community as well. They had a huge food drive around Thanksgiving and then a toy drive at Christmas. Now they are having another food drive because when I came in today there was a grocery cart with a bunch of canned goods in it.
I noticed a few bad reviews from people who have seemed to have had some type of contract issues. They probably didn't read it. I read mine. Its pretty clear that at the end of your membership you have to give them written notice and 30 days to cancel or it automatically renews on a month to month deal. What is wrong with that? Doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Most of these people probably never used their membership to begin with and want to blame the gym for their own short comings and lack of motivation. I just wanted to get a chance to defend these guys because they have been nothing but straight forward and honest with me. I owe a lot to them and they have made a huge difference in my life.....
There are a ton more good reviews about this place than bad ones, that should tell you something. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Because I have such a crazy schedule with work and school this 24 hour gym is perfect! The staff is so nice and very encouraging. They help me stay motivated and when if I have to come workout before they arrive or after they leave they have set up a complimentary fit book for when they are not available. Love this gym!!

I love coming to the Anytime Fitness in Trussville! The equipment is exactly what I need to get a good pump in for the day and build a strong physique! My favorite machine is the plate loading leg press, but I also like that there are several fans throughout the weight room so that I don't get too hot. The staff is nice and helpful, too.

The owner is extremely rude and has zero customer service skills. I have called and left several messages for someone to call back and no one has returned any of my messages. I know its because I am not renewing my contract and they have to be notified of it. I was just recently honorably medically discharged from the Army at 80% and can not work out yet they refuse to call me back

My wife and I have been dealing with this poorly managed gym for awhile now. They double charged my account after I closed it, and after multiple attempts, I have still yet to get my refund. You couldn't pay me to join this gym. All Trussville area people please be very wary of this place.
