I actually love the machines and working out at Club 4. I recommend all of my friends and family to work out there. I get results. It's always clean. It's a great experience. My only gripe is it gets very hot in all the gyms during the winter time but that's it. It's still the best place in Mobile to work out and I will continue going there.

Leon signed my wife, son and me up and was great. Made us feel welcome and every time we workout he never forgets our names. When asking for scales so I can accurately weigh he went in to another area to borrow a digital one. ( the older stand-up scales was not accurate).

If you value your kids safety, don’t put them in the kids club. When I walked in they said “ok thank you” and didn’t even bother checking my kids in. I had to tell her I wanted to sign my kids in. When I went to pick my kids up I did not see a single worker in the kids club. I walked my kids out without checking them out. That is a MAJOR red flag. We will NOT be returning!

I also thought it was pretty inconsiderate that trainers come up asking how many sets you have left. As well as them using the ENTIRE green/turf area for their “classes”. I understand the gym is small but they’re not mindful of everyone else. I very politely asked if I could use the battle ropes that no one was using and was told no because they’d be using them in the next 4 minutes. I tried telling him it would only take me 2 minutes to do my set and he said “yeah give me like 4 minutes or so” I very easily could have completed my set and not interrupt his class. Very selfish.

*edit to respond to your response.. my children were not properly checked out. No one confirmed I was my children’s parent. A stranger very easily could have walked out with my kids. If the person cleaning the windows was in charge of the kids club she very easily could have said “give me a second ma’am while we check your kids out. But she didn’t. No safety measures were taken.

I was a member for the time we were stationed in Mobile, and I absolutely loved my experience there. Especially the childcare. I have 3 children who actually enjoyed going to this locations childcare, and we grew to love many of the workers, especially Ms Anna and Ms Jasmine. If we ever get to move back, we will sign up again!

My husband and I have been training since 2022 and we have no complaints. We have two children who LOVE the gym's kidcare, the girls are very attentive, loving and the atmosphere is calm. Anna is fabulous, my children love her and she is the one who entrusted with closed eyes to take care of them.

Unfortunately I would not recommend anyone to attend this specific location due to the manager, Lindsay. This individual clearly has no conflict resolution skills - as she makes false statements about customers (with witnesses present) and over talks customers when she’s asked about issues. I joined this gym in October and have never been disrespectful to any staff or any employees. I have been in the gym multiple times and have always conducted myself in a calm and professional manner. I called this morning to try to resolve a pretty serious financial issue on my account and the manager, Lindsay, was incredibly rude over the phone and talked over me. When Lindsay became aggressive on the call, I asked her if she would like me to visit the gym with authority’s to assist in mediating the issue, and she then stated I would be banned from the gym and could no longer come back, despite me being a paying member. All I wanted to do was get an explanation from management about the issue I was having. I’ve noticed several other reviews on this page about this same individual, so clearly there is a pattern of the way this woman interacts with members who challenge her. I’m unsure why this issue had to be escalated to such hostility and refusal to help. I have also been denied copies of my membership agreement and paperwork by the gym numerous times after I’ve asked for everything to be printed and given to me. The manger is no help in resolving situations at all and just wants to be hostile, combative, and dismissive. The manager actually hung up the phone in my face while I was trying to come to a resolution and get an explanation. During EVERY interaction I’ve had with this gym, I have remained calm and reasonable. I have been put in contact with the gym owner and regional manager. If you do choose to attend this gym, beware of the manager and watch what you say around her.

Despite the gym being a little small it serves its purpose and the staff are usually friendly. Whenever i have any questions the staff are always willing to help. Netra, one of the assistant managers even set me up with a consultation with one of their trainers and it was very insightful.

The gym is awesome, and the staff are friendly and professional. However, the cancel any time, no commitment, is not true. To not be charged for an extra month of membership, you have to cancel the day after you pay your dues. Their "30 day notice" policy. In short, you will definitely always pay for an extra month that you don't want.

I initially came in for the 3 day pass but after seeing the sale and getting a tour I went ahead and signed up. The staff helped answer all questions. I was bummed that I couldn’t get a joint membership with my husband and that we have to sign up separately but he will join soon. Linda showed me how to use the red light to try it out which was exciting. We be back Monday to workout!

There should be zero stars since one is too much for this location. I had a membership back in August and i have never been there even for one minute. I went today and thinking i might be motivated by going and talk to someone as a start i might get motivated. i met "Lindsay" she claim to be the manager but she is not a manager material at all after a minute of talking to her i decided to freeze the account for a while. And she told me that i will be charged next month since payment will process tomorrow . I asked her to give me the customer service number to call and stop that charge or i will have to cancel. Guess what she gave me a paper and told me you can cancel online . She claimed also i will have no live person to talk to. so staff can treat you what ever way they want to and no one to complaint to. and sure called that number and canceled, for sure will never go back to this location or any other club4 Fitness again. it is all about money and fake customer service. Very POOR management.

I joined the gym on the 30 of Oct 2023 and was told that if I canceled my membership before the billing cycle, I was not going to be charged any fees. The reason for this is that I just moved to Mobil for work, ( I live in Jax Fl). I made it clearly to the staff that I will be in Mobil for 6 months. However, I can get pulled and sent somewhere else because of my job. They said not to worry, I was not going to get charged if it is b4 the billing cycle. Well, that is a lie cause I did get pulled, and CLUB 4 charged me the full month and member ship fee. I used the gym for only 2 weeks.
The gym is nice, I like it but the staff lied.

I got a membership for 25$, decided I needed to downgrade to the 10$ a month b/c im BUSY and I have KIDS. They won't let you downgrade. You have to cancel and re-sign up, which is completely ridiculous. It took two phone calls to figure out how to cancel b/c you can't do it on the app. You have to go through this third party website and do all this work w someone over the phone from the gym (the guy was very helpful, though) and then YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE NEXT MONTH EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE CANCELLING BEFORE THE NEXT PAY PERIOD. I literally had to put in my payment information to cancel. That is BAD business. The gym is also not very clean if they don't require people to wipe down everything after each use. You can do it if you want. Wipes may be expensive but the spray they have is not convenient to use so I doubt people use it often.I will say the staff is very pleasant. I do like the staff. This is all a corporate issue.

By far the BEST commercial gym that I have been to in Mobile. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. So many free weights and machines for everyone at the gym. Gets busy during peak hours but other than that, it is very clean and very easy to access things. I got the free three day trial and I will definitely be coming back. Love love love Club4. I specifically go for the classes (my favorites are BodyPump with Shelley, POUND with Tatiana, and BodyAttack with Christina).

Update as I’ve now been a Club4 member for almost 5 months! I’ve added Yoga with Joanna and BodyStep with Stephanie to my weekly routine. Hillcrest is definitely my favorite location with my favorite staff, but Schillinger is a close second!

I initially marked 1 star because I worked late and accessing the gym with the basic membership was a pain and inconvenience. I would try to arrive 30m before closing and leave some time after closing and they would often lock the doors early. My schedule has since changed rendering my frustration a relic of the past.

4 stars is a fairer score and better reflects the quality of the gym, their services, friendly staff, and their equipment selection.

I was flagged and stopped by the staff, probably because of my reveiw. Not the type of interaction I would have preferred but it is what it is. Apparently "access during gym hours" doesnt just mean they lock the doors at close time, they also expect you to excuse yourself from the premises regardless of your arrival time. News to me.

-1 star for lack of clarity on their part and some frustrations but I am willing to update my review to make it more fair. Navigating some of their rules, such as swapping locations, seem to be unnecessarily difficult for the base tier membership. Speaking with a manager at another location, its sounds like you can get stuck at a location if you want to try another location out and are not aware of limited moves and want to return later, etc. Kinda feels like inventing a problem to sell you the solution for a pricier tier. Base memberships always feel gimped in some crucial ways. *shrug* But I digress.

At the end of the day I just want a clean gym where I can show up, work out, disinfect my equipment, and roll on out with no one bothering me.

Great gym to be a member of! Price is just right, and you get so many benefits! They keep the place clean. Bathrooms are spacious. Tanning beds, red light therapy (my wife uses), water bed massages, child care (just a little added cost), and classes are awesome! There are plenty of free weights and machines, so I hardly have to wait. The staff is always friendly too 😀

I am a former member of Omni fitness, and was charged an additional 9 months and an annual fee. There was a total lack of communication of transference of dues. Peak Payment Solutions informed me that members of Omni would receive no refunds for dues charged. Just letting consumers know about the bad business practices of Club 4, and Peak Payment Solutions.
