Very nice gym and nice equipment. One of the best steam rooms. The staff only speaks to certain people or reach out to train certain people. Not welcoming at at (other than the tall person which I think is the manager and the young black lady as well as the lady that hold fittness classes). If you leave something or need to call about something important. Just hope you can receive it on your own or find alternate solutions for they will not pick up the phone. I had just left the gym and left my phone and was calling and still calling when I came back only to find not one but two staff members at the front desk ignoring the phone. I retrieve the phone and was still calling when I left.... They never picked up. I wish the staff was as welcoming to people starting out in the gym as they are to their gym bros/sis. Good customer service goes along way; others have complained about the atmosphere not being welcoming as well.

The front desk associate was friendly, upbeat, and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and was well informed of the gym layout. Went back to the gym for the first time in two years and went in to the child care over looking the hours for Sunday. One of the gentleman was not nice at all and even sarcastically as walking out say “you can take a picture of the hours on the door”. I love this gym and have never had issues before but he was rude and sarcastic. Was not a fan at all!

2 stars because I think this place is overall great. However, it’s never appropriate for a male employee to enter the women’s bathroom without first notifying the women in the restroom that he’s entering. I get needing to check things out, and there was a woman who came in with him, however; it was not made known to anyone in the stalls that a man was entering. I just heard a man all of a sudden talking to his co-worker. I came out of the stall and he was just there. What if someone came out partially clothed? Completely unacceptable.

Access to the facility is 24 hours allowing for total flexibility. I am pleased. However there are 2 major concerns that has dictated cancellation after my contract is satisfied…as most bank card holders, I keep my card lock because my identity was stolen. Each time a charge from the club goes through they charge a $15-$25 late fee charge or administrative fee and the payment was never late. In my opinion, a ridiculous way to make money on top of gym cost. On top of that the ladies bathroom, toilet is unclean, hair still on the floor after they’ve mopped, toilet sets nasty…when I schedule spin class at 5:30 am no one is ever on time to unlock the room. I stopped scheduling it.

They are very friendly. However, they tried to pressure my teenage son to sign up for a more expensive membership than the $10/month that I sent him in there to sign up for. I didn’t appreciate that. Also, they are not very quick with replacement of pads that are cracked or torn. Otherwise, they have a lot of equipment. You can usually get in a great workout any time of the day.

Club4 really needs to promo your training classes, especially Zumba, body lifting, etc. You need to find out what the YMCA is doing. I am a big fan of Zumba training or others , but the classes haven’t taken off yet at that location. I don’t know if it’s dedicated instructors to commit to different times, not sure.Maybe if you brighten the lights in that room and draw more attention . Just a suggestion!

My husband and I go 4-6 times a week. We are in our early to mid 50’s. We work out just to feel better the older we get. All this to say we enjoy coming in the morning at 5:00 am to a smiling worker who always waves and greets us. She is very helpful and easy to approach. She is a hard worker. She is cleaning the doors, checking for garbage left in the cup holders and vacuuming while we are working out. I strongly recommend this gym!!

I went there today just to check the place , I recently moved from Chicago to Birmingham and I have to joint a gym . At the entrance not very welcoming team , I explained that I want it to see the place for 2 minute in order to make a decision they want me to give all my information full name date of birth where I live , phone number, email , and everything under the sky just to look at the place, like that the next day they can harass you with email and phone call . I try to explain I need it only 2 mn I was in a rush . She didn’t want to here any of it. That sealed my decision it a no!!

Worst customer service ever. Changed to a new bank and went to get it updated at the gym, was told I was good to go. A month later, I got hit with a text message saying there was an issue with my billing. I went back to have it updated, same issue happened a month later. I came back ticked off at the issue and THIS TIME, the issue was supposed to be fixed. Well, a month later I get hit with a late fee penalty and the issue is still occurring. Then I had to go for very long goose chase on fixing that with their online support, which is horrible as well. If you want to go to the gym that is constantly packed and has horrible Customer service both online and in house, this is the gym. Otherwise, I would say stay away.

I had a terrible experience here today! I dropped my child off at the kids club. 1- the worker did not speak to my child. 2- while I’m at the front desk, I hear my child screaming and crying. The workers did not attempt to soothe him, play with him, NOTHING. I spoke with someone who is supposedly the manager and they said their staff is not trained to do that. You all claim to watch 6 week olds to 12 year olds but do not play with them. You have to be trained to play with a child?!
Then I did a waiver for my guest, the tall light skin man who claim to be the general manager is screaming at my guest and kicked him out for no reason. The staff was very nonchalant and I am very displeased. There was no accountability nor apology to today’s events.

Nice gym, staff is friendly. However, there is a stair master thats been out of order for about 2 months now. The other night I couldn't even do my workout because all the others were in use. The personal training is a 1 year agreement and is expensive ($512/month) and yet I haven't see any results and I'm still stuck with 6 more months. They make you sign an agreement, but you feel pressured to sign so you don't necessarily have time to read it properly. It be nice if they'd let you review the info before signing. If I had been able to read it properly I wouldnt have signed. I see why my original trainer left for another job. Although Roderick is great.

It’s a really nice gym but they have no policy or anything in place to make people re-rack their own weights so every time you show up to a machine you have to clean up the previous persons mess. It’s a huge ick I have and made me consider changing gyms multiple times just because of that.

I've been coming to this gym for 2 years. It's your typical gym. My only gripe is most classes are at times which aren't conducive to must people's work schedule of 9 to 5. Would like a to see body pump class at 6:30am opposed to 8am or 9am. Other than that it's a cool gym with several other amenities.

I’m not a member of this gym, but I called to inquire about new memberships. The person who answered, McKenzie, was very helpful. Even though she didn’t have all the answers, she took the time to ask someone else to ensure I received accurate information. This was a refreshing experience compared to other gyms, where I struggled to get the details I needed. While I haven’t decided which gym to join yet, this one is at the top of my list due to their excellent customer service. It’s nice to hear a friendly voice on the phone that’s genuinely willing to help without pushing a hard sell.

This gym wasn’t even my home gym, but I visit so often they didn’t even mention my membership was banned. They asked would there be a reason to have anything wrong with my account & told them. They said we know you don’t bother anyone & set me up with 24/7 access pass to all locations. I was just asked not to return to Trussville to taunt Giraffe man & that unfit girl. I’ve been with club4 almost a year now & I visit 3 different locations regularly and this one has by far the most welcoming & friendliest staff!! I mean the GM really goes above and beyond to show that he cares and I love that! I also have not met a single rude employee. My daughter loves the kids care and I’m so thankful for the women there.
However, this is the only location I visit that doesn’t have a “private” workout room for women. This is also the only location that is somewhat strict about using the fitness studio, which is the only private workout room, because it’s only for classes & you have to be a part of the class and I get that but at any other location I am able to use the studio freely at anytime whether there’s a class or not, as a private place for me to stretch, warm up, or just do the exercises that I do not feel too comfortable doing out in the open in front of everyone else. Not that this would make me rate them any less, just wanted to give my input :)

The gym is actually nice,good equipment and some other gyms don't have. 24/7 access which is nice but what isn't so nice is a few of their staff,particularly Tiffany. Me and my girlfriend each scanned our badges separately and entered. The very next morning I get a call n threatening voicemail from Tiffany saying to call back or I'll be charged a $56 fee for some weird mess. So I wake up n call back and she says I let in a person that didn't have a pass and I'm like no I didn't my girlfriend scanned her badge n she has a membership. Gave her the name and walla proved my innocence, no apology no nothing. The next day my girlfriend goes by herself and notices the scanner isn't working and the door is unlocked allowing anybody to come in,which makes my girlfriend nervous as she perfers locked gyms with key access. So she calls the next morning and who is it? Tiffany. My friend tries to tell her about the door issue n Tiffany rudely cuts her off saying they are working on it. She certainly doesn't talk to customers like she wants them to continue their membership..Everybody else including the tall Black man is very welcoming.

The equipment is fine , but once they get your money you’re on your own. Most amenities they advertise you won’t even know how to access. I still have no clue why the restrooms were locked a lot . Wouldn’t recommend if you’re new to gym life. Also, there are TONS of hidden fees.The late fees are ridiculous too. I was ONE day late after getting a new debit card & my $35 membership went to $70+ after just 1 day. I cancelled over the phone in June & haven’t been back since , yet they’re still giving me the run around about that cancellation and are still trying to bill me all the way up to November now. Their billing system ABC fitness solutions will drive you crazy with multiple calls & emails everyday and when I tried to make them aware of me cancelling they basically say they have nothing to do with that .

The gym is nice and the equipment are operable but they are not fully upfront about their policies. They will tell you all of the good stuff to get you to sign up for a membership of course but do not tell you about hidden fees. For instance, they will tell you that you can upgrade your membership at any time for no cost. What they don't tell you is that if you want to downgrade your membership, there is a fee. When I asked to speak to a manager and to show me where it says that there would be fees to downgrade in the contract, they couldn't. They did not tell me that when I signed up nor was it on any of the promotional materials that they showed when I originally signed up. They told me to reach out to the manager via the app. Needless to say, they didn't care and was not accomodating to this fact. I cancelled my membership because of it.

I’m only giving 4 stars because I feel like the staff could be a little more welcoming. Today was my first day end I was noticeably new because I was taking in the view of the gym. Front desk staff was kinda monotone while addressing me and didn’t provide much info. I thought I would get a tour but didn’t so I had to find everything on my own. When signing up they advertise 24 hour access to the gym with a premium membership and even after signing up for said membership and being charged the money for the 24 hour access they’re not open 24 hours. There has also been occasions when I’ve gone during normal hours (7 PM) and they’ve been closed with no signage or warning as to why. Nice place, not ran very well.
