The best DOJO and instruction I've seen since both grandsons have attended and trained there since 2007

Grandmaster Conley’s Academy of Keichu-DO:
Inspires his students to accomplish things they never thought they could. Impresses upon them the importance of doing well in everything they do karate, school, etc., all those things that are important for developing respect for self and others, demeanor, self-pride, discipline and attitudes toward other people and life. He sincerely cares about his students.
Demands a desired level of excellence at each level of training! No free or timely belts here! And before a new belt is tied around a student’s waist they know they are ready to compete with anyone in their division from any state or country regardless of what school they are from. They have been proving this for the 13 years I have been associated with Grandmaster Conley’s Academy in the many competitive tournaments they attended each year. He instills in them while there is pride in winning, there is no shame in losing. His students seldom face an experience of
losing.

I have been associated with different martial arts schools in several states and in foreign countries. One only has to watch a few training sessions at Grandmaster Conley’s Academy of Keichu-Do to realize it’s a uniquely styled martial arts training program and he is a uniquely qualified expert when it comes to his teaching and developmental techniques. After watching it for years I’ve derived at my own opinions: it’s unique since it is a combination of styles developed here in the United States and therefore would not fall under Mr. Webster’s definition of martial arts. Perhaps an update of our dictionary stating: any of several Asian or American arts of self defense or combat as sport. Is it the best style of martial arts? In my opinion, the style you are dedicated to and love doing is the best for you. In my experience, Shihan dai Conley is the best I’ve ever known.

SO…Moms and dads sign up your kids and be sure to clean out space for all the trophies, including grand championship ones they will bring home. Many of his students win grand championships. For my house its over 100 trophies and medals, mostly 1st place trophies, gold medals and grand champion brought home by my wife and son, Grandmaster Conley’s students. So enjoy the beaming on the faces of your children when the judges call their name and gives them that first place trophy. I encourage you to sign up your children, and yourself. You will be glad you did, especially for your children.

Mr. Conley is a great teacher. He gives of his best and demands no less than the best from his students (hence the many trophies/awards). But it’s more than winning competitions; it’s about attaining and maintaining a level of excellence.

He constantly challenges you to strive for this excellence; to do even more than you think you can. (I am an adult beginner student...I am doing more than I thought I could).

Great environment, wonderful peers and instructors who are patient with you, encourage you and willing to assist you whenever.

Two thumbs up and a sky full of ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 ⭐️.

This might not be the Dojo for you.
It's not after school day care. It's not always warm and fuzzy positive reinforcement.

But, If you're willing to let Mr. Conley do what he does best, your kid(s) will grow in discipline, respect, and life.

Mr. Conley is an absolute expert at what he does and there's a reason his students consistently win 1st place and Grand Champion at every tournament they attend! His system absolutely works!

Kata, sparring, and weapons; not a mainstream style but a hybrid of several.

My son hated it at first. But it has made a world of difference in his attitude and discipline. He has learned so much and enjoys it and the many competitions he attends.
