If you’re new (or not) to Pilates and actually want instruction on alignment and technique, corrections when needed, and challenges, this is your spot.
I tried two other studios in the area where there were 15+ students per class, very little individual attention or corrections, and a feeling like the goal was just to get through x number of reps and move to the next thing. I have pretty decent body awareness, and knew there was absolutely no way that in my first class, I could possibly be getting every piece of alignment and form close to correct. Yet at both of those studios, no corrections or instructions were offered. (Basically follow the leader style.) It seemed like there was high potential for injuries because instructors didn’t pay much attention to form, though they would yell various forms of “great job” every few minutes.
At Core, the level and amount of instruction and corrections I received in a very short (30ish minute) introductory session was more than I probably would have received in years at other studios. I signed up that same day for private lessons with Maria, who is amazing and super (!!) precise with everything, and have also taken small group classes with both Maria and Lauren (who is also great!). One thing that drew me to Core is that they both have a solid background in body mechanics on a deeper level than just Pilates, which I appreciate and brings so much value.
I’m not in my 20s anymore and so at this point in life, random tweaks happen like pulling a back muscle sneezing. I feel much more confident here that the instructors will work with and around any slight injury to offer modifications that are safe.

I’ve been looking for a while to find a studio just like this one. The classes are small, the instructors are always providing next level challenges or accommodations, they remind you of the muscles and techniques throughout the class, I absolutely love going to class! I feel so much more comfortable here than at the gym I go to not only because of the instructors but also the other clients! Everyone is very friendly and I am thankful to have found this studio!

I’m new to Pilates. The small class size has been very helpful for me to learn the fundamentals. The instructors do an excellent job of making you feel comfortable and making sure you get the most from the classes. My friend has been telling me about Core and Restore for months, but I thought I was too broken for pilades. I had no idea about the history (look it up)! I love my pilades classes! I have had several years of physical therapy of various sorts after a bad leg break and many surgeries. I am in a wheelchair most of the time but can still use a walker. After all that therapy, there are STILL new things that pilades brings out in my body that I couldn't do before. Lauren is my instructor, and she is patient, intuitive, creative, but also a little firm when I need it. Give it a try if you haven't before!

I began private sessions at Core and Restore Pilates to rehabilitate a shoulder injury and I’ve been very pleased with the results. I’ve had sessions with both Lauren and Maria and gained a better understanding of how I am unconsciously compensating for my injuries with other muscles instead of targeting the proper muscles. It is a journey, not a quick fix but these are right people to help you on your own journey.

Core and restore Pilates has been truly life changing for me. I highly recommend trying it especially for those who don’t necessary love a cardio workout this is more about strengthening and mobility. I enjoy there beginner reformer classes to get started. Great staff and wonderful atmosphere highly recommend!!!

I've been going to this studio since August '24 and I love it. The instructors are amazing and I was relatively new to Pilates when I started. The classes are very beginner friendly and the instructors are willing to take the time to provide any modifications, breathing techniques, and form corrections. I've had classes with almost every instructor and they are truly dedicated to meeting whatever fitness/wellness goal you have through pilates.

I signed up for the intro package—3 reformer classes for $60—and it has been such a great experience! I’ve taken 2 classes with Lauren and both times I was the only person there, which meant I was treated with private sessions! The studio itself is bright, clean, and has a really welcoming vibe. Lauren is absolutely fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and great at explaining everything in a way that feels approachable, even if you’re new to Pilates. I’m already looking forward to my 3rd class and definitely planning to continue after!

I have spondylolisthesis, which is when one vertebrae in your spine slips onto the vertebra below it. Over 5 years ago at my doctor's advice, I began taking reformer Pilates classes several days a week to strengthen the muscles around my spine. The results blew my mind. Pilates not only reduced my pain but also strengthened and improved the shape of my body. Indeed, Joseph Pilates, the founder of Pilates, stated, "In 10 sessions, you feel better, 20 sessions you look better, 30 sessions you have a completely new body.”

Maria and Lauren are both incredibly knowledgeable, credentialed, and kind Core & Restore Pilates instructors who are passionate about helping their clients improve the look and function of their bodies. Book your first reformer Pilates class with either of them today! And stick with it! For me, it took 5 or more sessions before I understood the exercises. At that point, I was hooked!
