Super informative and when needing correction on form was immediate to realize and offer suggestions on how to correct. Also pushed everyone in the class to do their best. Highly recommended

Krista is hands down one of the best coaches. She has this way of making you feel both supported and challenged at the same time. She notices the little things, helps fix your form, and somehow knows exactly when you’ve got a little more left in the tank. Her energy is contagious, and she makes every workout fun, even on the hardest days. I’m so grateful for her encouragement and the confidence she’s helped me build inside and outside the gym!

Terrific CrossFit gym. We dropped in for a visit last year and were warmly welcomed. Just a great community with very supportive and encouraging folks of all abilities and ages. We'll be returning to Fairhope this winter for a month so we'll attend weekly classes while we're in town. Look forward to being back

It felt a little like a walk of shame stepping into a gym for the first time in a few years. If I were an athletic coach, I probably would have rolled my eyes at the middle aged lady who could not even do one sit-up. But, not Dylan. He respectfully showed me modifications while challenging me to put in some work. I thought I was just going to pop in for a class to satisfy my friend who would not leave me alone about it, but here I am packing a gym bag every morning just in case I can get in an extra workout. I am sore enough to feel motivated and not too sore to get down the stairs-just perfect. Thanks so much, Dylan, for the kind, kick in the butt! I am excited about adjusting my fitness journey to incorporate CrossFit Fairhope.

I’m only a few weeks into CrossFit so I have had a lot to learn but I have been super grateful for a coach that has been patient and willing to help me learn the correct form and technique, while pushing me to become stronger! I have always felt safe during my lifts and I like knowing that someone is watching and critiquing me to make sure I stay injury free! I’m excited to see how far I can go!

Dylan was an awesome coach for my 1st ever Cross Fit class! Dylan made sure to ask about any prior or current injuries before diving into explanation of today’s workout. He was helpful and supportive with tips and advice at every opportunity. Dylan made frequent rounds to cheer us on.

**CrossFit Fairhope & Coach Dylan – A+ Coaching & Community**
Dropping into CrossFit Fairhope was nothing short of exceptional, and that’s largely thanks to Coach Dylan’s top-tier coaching. His ability to control the class with smooth, prompt transitions kept everything on track, making the workout efficient and engaging. The movement demonstrations were clear and effective—enough to ensure proper technique without being excessive.
What truly sets Coach Dylan apart is his warm and welcoming approach. As a drop-in athlete, I instantly felt at ease, knowing exactly where to find what I needed for the WOD. He provided thoughtful guidance on scaling options, ensuring that every athlete, regardless of skill level, had a safe and effective workout experience.
And when it comes to community, CrossFit Fairhope is in a league of its own. The gym’s culture fosters a genuine sense of belonging, making it obvious that this is a place where people don’t just work out together—they uplift and support one another. From the moment you step in, you feel welcomed, valued, and motivated.
If you’re looking for a gym where both coaching and camaraderie are at their absolute best, CrossFit Fairhope is it!

What I love most about CrossFit Fairhope is it has provided me with both stepping stones and community events. It’s good to set big goals ,but you also need smaller goals (stepping stones) to reach the big goal. For me these stepping stones take the form of annual workout challenges. They give me something to chase, and there are people around me who are chasing the same goals.

I always thought CrossFit was something so out of reach for me. I tried CrossFit Fairhope just to get my friends to stop bugging me about it. I instantly fell in love! The coaches have made a community out of their members comprised of some of the most supportive and least judgmental people you’ll ever meet! I appreciate the ability to scale each workout while still getting encouraged to push myself to the max. I feel like I am able to achieve big things in a short class timeframe and always feel accomplished when I leave. I love walking in the door and having the feeling of being accepted and wanted.

Kimberly is an excellent coach. She thoroughly reviewed the day’s warmup, strength component & metcom. She gave me helpful feedback on form, shapes and movement during the session.
As a new member, I thought CFF had a friendly vibe and everyone was very welcoming.

No one was ever happier than me, this morning at 9:30, to be blown-out, gasping and wasted. I'd just finished my first full CrossFit WOD in seven and a half months, since my left-hip-joint replacement surgery last July 15.
I'm grateful beyond measure for the support of the Fairhope CrossFit coaches and community during my long rehabilitation. To know all of you is an extraordinary blessing. God is very kind.
As for a "review" of the WOD itself, I'll say that I appreciated its challenging nature, even if it did kick me in the rear. (The command, prior to the WOD, to perform five minutes of all-out sit-ups as a "core" accessory turned out to be a double-red warning flag of the storm to come.)
I did make one switch-up in my WOD exercise lineup, replacing rope-jumping with burpees. Bouncy exercise activities are forbidden to me right now. Burpees are mean little fellows, but, hey, if you've embarked upon the CrossFit comeback trail, you can't go easy on yourself.

I come to visit Fairhope frequently from New Orleans and it took me so long to actually look up Crossfit in the area for some reason. I'm so glad I did and that I came into CrossFit Fairhope! Jill is so incredibly welcoming every time I've been there, and so kind to me and my husband after the hurricane displaced us temporarily. She is also very positive vibes as a coach - pushing you to work harder and also critical of form and technique which is always a plus. The workouts are standard WOD format with some weight lifting and then a met con after and the gym is nice and spacious with the amenities you would want. I also like that the vibe is to work hard, but no pressure to lift at the Rx weight; very friendly for beginners or people like me who have been going for a while and can settle in the middle somewhere. Highly recommend and will definitely come back when I'm in town!

When we moved to Fairhope two years ago, it was a priority for my wife and I to find a place for us and our two sons to work out together. We tried a couple of different locations, but finally walked into CrossFit Fairhope. We immediately felt welcomed and comfortable with the coaches and members. Doug, Jill and the other coaches do a great job teaching the fundamentals and limiting injuries. We are so glad we found this place and would highly recommend to others.

The entire coaching team is awesome, as is the community. I Recently had an old ankle injury flare up again. I told one of the coaches I needed some modification, and she immediately reached out to other coaches around the area to determine what exercises would be best for me and my injury. I've seen them go above and beyond each time that I've been in for a workout. These folks rock!

I posted this on Facebook but also wanted to post it here.
I don't live in Fairhope, but I go to this gym when I visit town. I've tried other CrossFit gyms in the area, but this one is by far my favorite. Here's why:
Great coaches. They vary in experience, age, and gender, but they are all REALLY good. As a woman, I love having access to a female coach who has firsthand experience with the unique training needs of a woman's body. I also really like having male coaches who treat me and other women with just as much respect as they treat the men. They work individually with each person in the class and pay a great deal of attention to technique and safety. And that leads me to...
Safety. CrossFit, powerlifting, and Olympic lifting are amazing for your body when the movements are done correctly. But when they're done incorrectly, they can hurt you -- badly. This gym takes safety seriously. I've seen them work with the members to help them master proper technique. Whether you're an experienced lifter or are totally new to fitness, this is a safe and healthy environment to work out.
Cleanliness. It's one of the cleanest gyms I've seen in a while. CrossFit gyms tend to get gross because you have sweat, chalk, and warehouse dust mixing and griming everything up. This place stays surprisingly tidy, and the coaches remind people to wipe down their equipment between uses. The bathrooms are also quite clean.
Good equipment. It's not a huge space, but they have everything you need to work out and do mobility work. Rings, GHD machines, wall balls, foam rollers, lacrosse balls... It's all there.
Nice people. The coaches are nice and so are the other students. And it's not a weird CrossFit-cult gym (nobody will talk your ear off about their paleo diets for hours). It's just a really kind, relaxed (socially relaxed, but physically, they will kick your butt - in a good way), friendly place. Men and women of varying ages attend classes. It seems like a great place to meet new people if you've recently moved to town.
