Attention all golfers, if you are looking for great golf courses look no more, Peninsula Golf & Racket Club has three great courses you can play for a very reasonable price. I personally played these courses while on vacation in 2024. My wife and I liked our experience so much we couldn’t wait to play them again in 2025. We played the Cyprus Course yesterday and it was fantastic!, The staff that will take care of you are so professional, polite and very friendly. I can assure you if you play these manicured courses you’ll come back for sure. Enjoy!!

The course itself is beautiful and offers a fun, challenging round of golf. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience enjoyable right from the start. Some of the prices were a bit on the high side, but that’s pretty typical for a tourist destination — it comes with the territory. My only real frustration was that the greens were heavily sanded, and no one let us know ahead of time, which affected play. Additionally, the rates I was quoted over the phone were higher than the prices I saw online, which was a little confusing. That said, it’s still a gorgeous course, and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable and challenging round in a beautiful setting.

Peninsula is one of the nicest courses I have ever been to. The grounds are in perfect shape with amazing views of the bay and life around it. Even though it has houses within it you don’t feel like you’re in someone’s back yard you feel like you’re secluded. The staff took great care of everything and there was always someone around to help or get anything that was needed.

I played early this morning with an early tee time of 7:20 as a single. Although the course was nice, they seemed to be averse to anyone who wants to play fast. As a low handicap single golfer, I easily play 18 holes in 2 hours or less with a cart and as long as no one is in front of me. The two 3-somes in front of me let me play through with no issues. But the next guy was a single who volunteered to let me ply through, but then proceeded to hassle me because he said if I played too fast i would run into the mowers and he did not seem to be happy about that. (Not sure why he would care). Then a ranger came up to me and thought I had to be skipping holes because he could not believe I could possibly play that fast. His attitude was also off-putting. And by the way, there were sprinklers going on every green for entire front 9 - even for the threesomes who were not playing fast. But he did say to go ahead and even directed me to the proper 9. On the second nine, every single flag was out on the ground so I had no way to know distances to the flag or even a target. Yet i did not see any maint. guys except on the third hole. When I was done in just under two hours, I told the cart guys my story, they said the pro shop guys would make it right. Rather than make it right, they proceeded to make a bunch of excuses and told me that anyone who played that fast would always run into problems. When I told them I did this several times a week at not home course, they looked at me like I was lying. When I told them they could at least leave the pins in on holes that were not being maintained, they looked at me like I was the idiot. I told them I loved the course and wanted to come back this week and it would be nice if they gave me a free 9 just to let me play the nine I played with actual flags in. They refused and did not offer anything to "make it right". Needless to say, I will not be back and they will be out the $800 they would have charged me for my 4-some that I was going to bring. Very foolish customer service. That "free-9" would have cost them nothing but maintained goodwill with me. What a disappointment.

Hands down some of the best course conditions anywhere. Played all 27 holes they have to offer. The lakes: they redid the greens a year ago and they’re not fully mature BUT they roll so smooth and true. Very firm no mater how much spin the greens won’t hold very well. WATER EVERY HOLE! tough but great 9!
The marsh: more resort style course. Greens were great very receptive fire right at the pin. 2nd favorite 9 here!
The cypress: favorite 9! Again greens are so smooth and receptacle. Layout is fantastic.
Peninsula golf as a whole: great staff cart girls come every 4 or so holes. They do something different here. They have “hit the green” challenge. Short par three, cart girl asks if you would like to wager a bet. $10-$200 if you hit the green the money doubles as pro shop credit. Not mandatory but it’s a fun deal. Will definitely be back! Btw pace of play: 7 am tee time pair with another single 18 holes in just over three hours. All 27 holes by 130pm with a break after the first 18! 27 holes in under 6hrs on the beach with a packed course! Again not enough praise for this place!!

Started off having a great time with my 85 year old grandma on the course. We called the pro shop to see if we could get a beverage cart for water on hole 6, cart girl (maybe Monica) found us and ruined the entire experience for us with how EXTREMELY rude she was, she was upset we called the pro shop and said she passed us on hole 2 (we never saw her), called us dishonest and made me feel very uncomfortable. She proceeded to tell the group playing behind us about our “dishonesty”. I will not be back. Pretty course, quiet but this experience ruined it for me.

My sons and I played Tuesday and had a great time! The staff was amazing and golf course was in outstanding condition, in spite of the cool weather the area has seen this winter. I own a golf course in Michigan and understand how much influence weather has on golf course conditioning. Kudos go out to your maintenance crew! Would highly recommend. And pace of play was great. We played in 4 hours, 10 minutes during a time the tee sheet was fairly busy.

8:30 on a Saturday and they’re letting singles play so it’s a deadlock 4 hour commitment. I understand trying to keep your members happy but treating guest like garbage after dropping $750 dollars I didn’t appreciate. Someone on the green each hole and the Marshall told us to keep up pace of play on hole 3 to stroke the ego of some old guys playing from the front tees. (When there is nowhere to go there is nowhere to go) Spend your $150 at a fun course like Kiva Dunes. Old Waverly in Ms is a good course this course is just ok.

If you happen to read my review of Craft Farms, this might sound quite similar. That's because I spent time at both of these facilities one day after the other. The golf courses at both places really are so nice. Loved playing each of them. But, the thing that sticks out like a sore thumb (in a good way), is the service & attitude of every single person who works there. I did not have an interaction with any staff that wasn't oozing (not in the fake way), but with genuine kindness. They serious are glad you've chosen to patronize their establishment. Whether for golf or a meal, they are very glad to see you and eager to help make it the best experience ever!

I recently played at peninsula golf and racquet club and had an incredibly disappointing experience. Despite the high green fee of $163, the quality of the experience was abysmal.

Firstly, while waiting for the group in front of us, a member hit into us. This is not only dangerous but completely unacceptable behavior, and it seems the course does nothing to address such serious safety concerns.

Secondly, it is outrageous to charge for range balls on top of an already steep green fee. At $163, basic amenities like range balls should be included. This nickel-and-diming leaves a bad taste and speaks volumes about the new ownership's priorities.

Lastly, being rushed on the final hole was the final straw. We were essentially told to hit into the group in front of us, which is reckless and inconsiderate. This clearly shows a lack of proper management and respect for players' safety and enjoyment.

I won't be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this course until significant improvements are made.

Very disappointed in our last experience here. We’ve been coming for a number of years and have loved our rounds of golf. Unfortunately new ownership has raised prices and now charges for range balls.

To top it off, we were asked to hurry up while we were standing in the fairway waiting for a group to clear the green. Apparently members can hit into groups that are waiting for other groups ahead of them, and still somehow complain about the non member groups.

For the price and the trouble, go 6 minutes down the road to Kiva and have a much better time. The course is in way better shape and the staff is incredible. You won’t be bothered or hassled for anything as a guest. Oh and it’s way cheaper.

We will not be returning for our annual trip to Peninsula anymore.

Course condition is good. Staff is friendly. The course was overbooked. 5.5 hrs to play. They let a foursome tee off (starting 18) while we had to wait making the turn. 150$ a person plus 20$ if you wanna hit range balls. No water coolers anywhere on the course. No refreshment carts on the back nine until 1/2 way thru our last hole. They need more competition.

Good course played two days 18 holes Cyprus and lakes courses both times. Cyprus is on great condition and greens were quite true. Lakes greens are on some kind of repair etc. second round booked the T time at 7 AM to play 18. After playing 9 in great time we arrived at lakes on first T. There was a jam. Not only that, there were 5 players ready to start in front of us in one flight. I asked the marshal why 5? He responded this course allows 5. Very strange. Then one of the guys from the team of 5 came over and told us we work here and it will be ok. It was very disappointing. The green fees is considerable and then you have to wait behind a flight of 5!!! I am very disappointed.
