Our vision is to help our members build better bodies so they can live their best lives. We are results-oriented, and also take great pride in building our member community. All are welcome at our training studio. We make fitness fun!

I’ve been taking 1 circuit training and 2 semi-personal weight training classes per week at Perdido Bay Fitness for the past 3 months. Honestly, I’ve never particularly liked exercising with the exception of walking. The only reason I joined was because of my recent diagnosis of osteoporosis. When I found Perdido Bay Fitness, I was a bit apprehensive about the cost, but gave it a try, anyway. I figured “what the heck”- it’s just 4 minutes down the road from me and the classes are only 45 minutes long. Well, it turns out that I am very impressed with how well these classes target the whole body. I feel myself getting stronger, more flexible, and have better balance as each week goes by. And my chronic upper trap and sciatic pain mysteriously disappeared! I like that the routines are switched up often so I don’t get bored. The instructors are thoughtful, knowledgeable, and encouraging. They teach us how to modify the exercises for our individual body needs and limitations and truly desire for us to meet our goals. There are many different time slots to choose from to accommodate my schedule. I’m still not thrilled by the cost, but it sure motivates me to show up! I’d rather pay now than pay DEARLY later. You can’t put a price tag on your health. Oh, and the other members are cheerful and friendly, too. I must admit- I am beginning to enjoy exercising a bit more now.

After a brief interview with MJ, my wife and I took advantage of the 2 week intro. My (stated) goal was simply strength training. I was adamant that circuit training was of no interest to me.
After exhausting the introduction strength training sessions and with a little push from my wife, I decided to give circuit a try. I'm hooked. Every muscle group that(I) needed to reinforce comes in to play.
The different circuits devised by MJ are, by appearance, daunting. However.... I am ALWAYS energized and thankful for Perdido Fitness routine, now ours!
From a nay-sayer to a yay- sayer in 7 weeks.

If one year ago someone told me I'd love the gym, I would have called them crazy. At PBF, they will meet you where you are and help you reach your goals. The members are diverse, friendly, and supportive.
I am stronger, lighter, and the improvements in my balance are astonishing. The coaches truly *care* and are incredibly knowledgeable. The gym feels like family....a sweaty family that has lots of fun together. ❤️

Absolutely the best gym/fitness center I have ever belonged to. All the coaches, I would like to single out Coach MJ; are extremely knowledgeable in fitness (physical and diet.) Challenging workouts with well thought-out and practical warm ups and cool downs. The coaches are genuinely concerned and supportive of your health, fitness, and physical capacity. They clearly demonstrate the proper modifications if required due to physical injuries or limitations. The coaches as well as the "fitness family" are miles above & beyond supportive and motivating! Love Perdido Bay Fitness! The atmosphere is so inclusive and welcoming. I joined after not having worked out for several years and was super nervous to step back in a gym after so long. Want to get fit, want coaches that will help you get there, want an environment that lets you work out at your level, and great members that support you? This IS the place! When you sign up you have a discussion with a coach that truly cares about your goals, where you are at physically starting your journey, and guide you towards your goals. During workouts they monitor everyone and ensure your form is right, suggest variations to workouts that make it easier/more challenging depending on you. This is the best place to get a quality workout that will ensure your goals can be met. I have been going for a month, the improvements in my mental and physical condition is unbelievable. If you’re looking for a place to get fit, give them a call. I’m so glad a friend convinced me to try!

Perdido Bay Fitness is truly the best part of my day! If you're looking for an enthusiastic and friendly environment to work out where you can be challenged to meet your own personal goals this is the place for you. When I joined over a year ago now I was in some of the worst shape of my life and just felt stuck. My fear of being back in a gym vanished quickly after just one workout. I felt truly seen and empowered to be the best version of me. The staff is incredibly attentive to each individuals needs and very knowledgable. Truly the best gym culture/environment I've ever been a part of! As an introvert who enjoys exercise and wellness but strongly dislikes crowded gyms and full group classes, PBF has truly brought joy back to my fitness routine. I have personally developed a passion for strength training since joining PBF. The classes are small, allowing the coaches to best support each member. Coach MJ has been the backbone of the gym by creating workouts that allow each member to work at their own ability and providing instruction and encouragement to help everyone reach his/her individual potential. Her dedication to serving others through coaching and desire to help everyone succeed becomes more evident the longer you know her. Although Coach Brandon is new to the PBF family, his quiet instruction style and ability to offer subtle technique adjustments are a great addition to PBF.

I joined PBF around late July because I knew that I needed to move. I want to help my muscles be at their best before my inevitable knee and shoulder surgeries.The coaches are GREAT as they show us how to get the most out of each exercise. I love Perdido Bay Fitness. I joined in May after moving here from Birmingham. I have been a part of a gym for a good portion of my adult life, and this has ultimately been my favorite. I have a good bit of equipment at my house but lacking motivation to work out after a long day of work. Since I have joined, it is what I look forward to doing after work. The coaches are phenomenal and the members are the best. The classes stay small, 8-12 people, so it feels like having a personal trainer for 45 min but with the added perk of friends and a cheering squad. If you are looking for motivation and a place to improve your fitness and nutrition, then this is the place to be.

Being new to the area I was nervous & anxious about finding a new fitness facility I could call home. Perdido Bay Fitness is a particularly great and relevant fitness center… a gym you would expect to find in a larger community than Lillian. I have been going to this location since pre-Covid, and it’s always been excellent. Under the new ownership, we’ve seen upgrades to the facility, administration and coaches. The overall experience is a great value for your money. There are folks here of all ages, body types and fitness level. I am impressed how the coaching staff listens to your needs, and adjusts the workouts for your situation. The classes are fresh, challenging and fun! If you’re like me and can never find the time to work out at home, this is the place to get started on your fitness journey, with a variety of HIT, strength and cardio. I believe they also offer introductory offers so take advantage of them. I have had relatives visit from out of town attend the classes at Perdido Bay Fitness tell me they went home and tried to find a gym with the similar structure and could not. Yes there are chains that offer something similar but I appreciate the value and flexibility of this independently owned fitness center.

I joined in November 2023 after trying a two week trial. I love this gym. It is very age and skill inclusive. You will meet amazing people - it’s truly a family in itself. Yoga, strength and weight training!! They have it all. I’m in my early 60s with a bad knee and exercises can be tailored to fit what you can do. The coaches are amazing and encouraging. It’s the best thing I’ve done for myself. See you at the gym soon!!

I joined Perdido Bay Fitness approximately 3 years ago when I moved to the area. This is by far one of the best gyms I have ever been a member of. Members and employees are open and friendly, and they have become like family. If you are looking for a gym where you can feel comfortable being yourself while pushing yourself to reach your fitness goals, this is the place for you. You will quickly see you have a whole group of new friends that will be there to cheer you on one step at a time. We laugh loud and often and work really hard, but we do it together as the “Perdido Bay Fit Family”.

I cannot say enough about Perdido Bay Fitness. I am in my 3rd month of strength training & I feel wonderful. As a senior citizen I have not exercised in 40* years so I was a very uncoordinated, slow, difficult, didn’t have a clue what I was doing MESS!! .The entire staff & other members helped me, never made fun of me, encouraged me & pushed me to do more than I ever thought I could. I am thrilled with my progress & I owe my success to this wonderful group,.
