Membership dues are very reasonable. They have all the exercise equipment you can possibly use. They do get a little crowded at certain times of the day but if you can go midmorning as I do, no problem. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Dauphin St location has odd hours, says its open 24 hours, then says it's open Monday 12 midnight to Friday 9:00 pm, and Saturday & Sunday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

This location is horrible on customer service and manager is not a truthful person. I came into the gym to resolve chargers on my account that was cancelled on July 7th. I asked for the manager, to be lied too, saying she was in the bathroom.After waiting for several minutes asked for a contact number to be misled(given the gym number). I came back to the counter to ask again for manager, waited again. Finally, Amy, the manager walks out as if she had a problem-
unprofessional manner. I am disappointed in the manner I was treated to resolve a issue that was on Planet Fitness. The gym has some issues that are concerning which are stairs.

While this is a typical Planet Fitness, this one always stays clean (it may be the cleanest I've been to in the US).
That said, like the other ones in Mobile, they are slow to perform maintenance (replacing soap dispensers, etc.).
The men's locker room at this location has no tall lockers and you will have to put your soap/shampoo on the floor in the shower if you don't bring a shower caddy of some kind.

Great place just got to pick early morning or late evening if you like it not so busy. Some people donโt follow instructions in the 30 min express workout room and can get on your last nerve.. everything else is great.

I really appreciate several aspects of my Planet Fitness experience. First and foremost, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a smile, and they're always ready to assist if you have any questions or need help with equipment. This positive attitude really contributes to a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere.
Secondly, I find the gym to be consistently well-organized and clean. The equipment is usually tidy, weights are racked, and the facilities are well-maintained. This makes it easy to navigate the gym, find what you need, and focus on your workout without any distractions.

I've been a member at PF for 4 1/2 years. I have taken my boys ( anyone that knows me know they're great kids 16 and 13. I've always allowed the younger to sit it out while the older and I worked out. I've never been advised that they could not go upstairs. As soon as I enter the facility I'm met by Phil. To say rude is a a complete understatement. He followed us through the gym and without warning said loudly " Leave ". Therefore, I wasn't going to argue with a man looking for a fight, problem, or issue. I had asked for a cancelation sheet. He said leave or im calling the cops. In which he did. 5 years. 1500 dollars, and a lying back mouth manager . She told the police I had lodged 16 or more complaints. I did in fact call her a bold face liar as I've NEVER been to another location. She proceeded to tell the police a waste of time and resources to trespass me after they've just taken my payment. The reason? I would not ammendment my Google review when asked via personal cell phone. She also said that's what you get for lodging a complaint. Upon arriving she spoke to me like an animal in front of my children and had them so very upset. I'm a first responder, my children are A honor roll, black belts, well mannered and for them to witness her behavior is unacceptable. She threatened me as well and stated I quote" im bout to lose it on you!" I let her know please, do. Lose it and I'll help you get it back together when we are done. Nothing short of firing that staff and a manager that called me out for lodging a former compliant is nasty work. Now that number has jumped to sixteen and I've obviously checked in at ghost locations. Let's check that against my payroll hours and see what we get. My 16 year old and 14 caught both of them in so many lies and to add to the mix this female called me every name she could think of .

The manager is absolutely toxic. Employees are allowed to leave nasty comments under client profiles. The building is a wreck upstairs and downstairs, so they need a complete overhaul. Please find new employees and management. This is an absolute train wreck!

Iโd give five stars if it wasnโt for some of the equipment I fill needs to be replaced, they just added some new toys like the hack squat and calve rase which is awesome. Some of the smiths feel two tight for try to deadlift or bench press they donโt move very smooth and make it a lil difficult to get in motion unless using lil to no weight, Iโll still work out on em cause of the convenience of the gym being close to home. That said the environment is great everybody is friendly, even to us bodybuilders lol.

First time visiting, the machines are newer than the machines on Dauphin Street Planet Fitness. Cardio Upstairs, Weights downstairs. Very clean. This location is set back from the street, not visible from the road. The only problem I had was I had to purchase a new lock because the Master Lock I had was too big for the locker I used. I like that there is an empty area where you could put a mat down to do exercises. Showers look very clean. I live a few miles away, but I am going to try to visit more often for a little variety. Oh, this gym is open 24 hours. I think the stairs might pose an issue with accessibility, not sure if there is an elevator.

Itโs an ok place. Good variety of equipment. Has an upper and lower workout area. Plenty of parking. Only negative is the temp upstairs. The pic below is the upstairs vent in the cardio area. I realize itโs summer but itโs always hot and has been since it opened. Overall tidiness has slipped a bit. Canโt beat the price though! Nice folks too.

It was time for me to head back in the gym and get my sexy on...now that COVID has faded down for the most part.
We go about early evening, so there's lots of room to move about...upstairs and down.
I didn't know they had massage options. One being the Whole Body Chair and Hydro Massage Lounger. You get 15 mins on either. I'm liking that perk!

Ok. On 12/22/22 I presented to this gym as a blackcard member with a coupon valid for only blackcard members only. The coupon stated blackcard members can bring 2 guest PER VISIT coupon valid until 12/31/22. Both my guest scanned the bar code to check in. We preceded to workout. 5 minutes into the workout, the manager pulls my guest aside and request a picture. Fine. He obliged. Then he walked over and he said the manager made a remark that only one guest was allowed. But she will " let it slide".
I then showed the coupon AGAIN. She then called three locations to check because she didn't know the coupons went out. She didn't mind that I had the coupon from the site. She wanted to know why I had two guest. No apology given at all.

Enjoy the calming atmosphere and clean locker rooms the only down fall is the gym is split level. All cardio stuff is upstairs with no restrooms or benches to sit if you get weak. Coming down the stairs after a workout with jelly legs or for elders could be dangerous. However that being said the gym still deserves 5 stars for variety black card luxuries cleanliness and staff.
