Absolutely love the massage chairs! It's got tanning massage, and all the workout equipment you may need. It's 24 hours now too, so that's awesome! i’ve been to this location once and it was so crowded i couldn’t even find an open treadmill. that was about 6 months ago. yet no matter how many times i contact leaving my number and email trying to get them to cancel my membership, or even just to email me back, they ignore my messages and keep billing me. disgusting business practice 👍

Best gym around! It’s a really nice, clean and most importantly friendly facility. My daughter has been going for 3 months now, she is special needs and they are great with her, patient, kind and supportive. Even the members are great with her. She has made many friends which is hard for her, not many people have the patience, but it’s been such a great experience for her. I highly recommend this is gym! They have excellent customer service and support! 🩷

Good sized gym. They don’t enforce the gym rules or dress code. People dragging gym bags around with them. Also, I have never seen dirtier mirrors and windows anywhere. Highway gas stations have cleaner mirrors. Hand prints all over the doors. They need to do less standing around and more cleaning.

We travel a lot and have been to several branches. This one in Oxford is a sparkling gem. There is always someone at front desk to greet with a smile. The floors are always super clean. Occasionally come in with my friend. some employees was not tolerable. She was loud and unprofessional. You’re at work not a party in my opinion you shouldn’t be running around laughing like a preschooler. One of the male employees smelled like marijuana. I understand it’s hard to find good employees that truly want a job but come on now at least have meetings and discuss things. The other employees was sweet and stayed and very friendly. The two that need to evaluate how they are on the clock was friendly but need to be a little more professional.

There's nothing like my home gym! I travel all 48 states as a truck driver; I visit multiple different Planet Fitness locations a week nationwide, but my home gym here in Oxford has been by far one of the best, cleanest, and most spacious. Trust me, I've been to some tiny and dirty Planet Fitness locations, especially the ones in Miami and Raymond, NH. 😆
I wish I could only attend this one, but I gotta keep the wheels rolling. So I'm here every other weekend. 🚛💨

I have traveled all over the U.S. and in Canada for business and outdoor adventures, and this is the BEST and NICEST Planet Fitness I've ever been in. I asked at the front desk if you had a compliment card, but they said no bc I wanted to let your management and corporate know. I wish they would change all of the PF to this. I had a broken ankle for several months so I know all about handicapped issues, and I took notice of your proper handicapped stalls for showers and changing rooms, etc. Plus, everything was so clean and well-kept and your machines were all like new. Call me REALLY, REALLY IMPRESSED!! I will be stopping here again on my way back through. Well done!! :)

Update: so I’m about to end up canceling my membership because I absolutely hate filling out forms every time I go to the gym because I use gyms within the network all over the country and this gym is the only one that makes you do this type of stuff. I can understand if it’s a guest that dosnt have a membership having to fill out paperwork but not a member every single time they visit. I love driving the 40 miles to this gym defiantly not a problem the thing I don’t like that they are starting to do is if your programmed to a different location as your “home” gym then you have to manually sign in each time. Problem is I use locations all over the country consistently every week. why have us sign up for a membership then sign paperwork every time we come into the gym . That’s annoying even more so if I just took pre workout before hand the last thing I want to do is fill out paperwork.

Just wanted to say after 3 years of membership what a great place this Planet Fitness is. Never was much of an athlete to say the least and only sporadically would I attempt a workout schedule of my own. A fellow school teacher tried to convince me this gym would be a good place to begin making exercise a part of my day. I gave in and took a tour with her and decided to give it a try. She was right indeed. Equipment is plentiful, staff is welcoming and helpful, facility is clean across the board. Only complaint is occasionally not being able to find Wheel of Fortune while on the treadmill instead of a ball game of some sort. My membership of this Planet Fitness is one of the best decisions I ever made.

I just came in and spoke with Landon for the first time 6/3/24 trying to learn more about how the membership and black card works. I have never had a gym membership because of it being automatically drafted out of my account. I was concerned about it being a hassle to stop when I wanted/needed it to. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and assured me that I can come in and stop it anytime without a problem. I now have my first gym membership ever. He was very eager and happy to answer all my questions and also let me know that since I didn’t know anything about gyms that they have a personal trainer Dylan there until 1:30 that can show me around and answer any questions I have about what would be the best workout to fit my needs.Landon has a great personality/ attitude and is definitely meant to work with the public brightening everyone’s day.

This place is a one of a kind Planet Fitness with it's size. Only one gym that I've seen was this big; room for alot of gym goers to visit. Love going to the gym but lately it’s been very hard to stay there to long, it’s always dirty, dust everywhere and on all the equipment, hair all over the floors stuck under the machines and the girls bathroom is disgusting most days. Noticed a month after they put the right card in but never set my card for current card to have my membership pulled out my account. So screwed me in the long run. I would never have gotten a PF membership had I known the true integrity of this company. The experience I have had with the branch manager and the company as a whole solidifies that I'll never subscribe to another PF again.

I got a PF membership in Oxford as I was working out of town away from my home gym. My work ended suddenly and I needed to cancel the membership. A PF Oxford associate said that I would have to contact corporate or come into the gym to cancel. I called the PF where I live and attempted to get my "home gym" changed to that one so I could walk in and cancel that way. They said I would have to change it with my original home gym. I contacted PF-Oxford again to ask them to change my home location to the location where I live. (This was a different person than I had spoken to before). They said I had to come into the Oxford branch to change that. I explained the situation asked if there was any other way to change it or cancel as I live 800 miles away and contacting corporate takes forever. They said no. The only way to change/cancel was to come in or contact corporate.

I sent several letters to corporate and waited on recorded lines twice for a recording to tell me they do not handle issues with specific branches and to contact the branch to handle those issues.

I then contact PF Oxford branch again and finally speak to the manager. He says that all I have to do is write a letter into the branch and it will be cancelled. He says he doesn't know who tole me to contact corporate because they're not a corporate location and all "his" associates know that the memberships can be canceled with a letter to the branch. I tell him two of his associates told me that and he doesn't seem to care. I tell him I will write a letter immediately and ask him what is to come of my money that's been drafted since February 2023. He says "I'll see what I can do. Let me see when's your last usage of the membership." He can clearly see I haven't used a PF since January 2023 and changes the subject. He says to send the letter in and we'll go from there.

This was early October. I sent 3 letters and never heard anything. In each letter it clearly states to please contact me via phone, text, or email so I can have a conversation with him. Never heard anything back and of course, I still had access to my PF account. So here it is Nov 15 and I call. When I get on the phone with him, he says rudely "Yeah, it was cancelled." I ask about any portion being refunded to me and he says the only thing being refunded is the last 2 payments because I didn't come into the branch to cancel. I sent letters in early October and here it is only being cancelled in early to mid November...after 3 letters!

He then says I should've received an email about the cancellation. I never received an email about anything related to my membership and reminded him that in the letters I sent, I asked for him to contact me through text, email, or phone call so that we could have a conversation. He didn't say anything about that. He said "well you should've gotten one unless your email changed." My email is the same. I didn't think it would be that hard for the manager of a business to have a bit of human decency and contact a paying patron...

Why not just be up front and honest from the beginning instead of saying "I'll see what I can do..." Theres no accountability for the actions of his associates. If HIS associates told me the correct information, I wouldn't have gone through all the trouble. If he cared that his associates told me the wrong information, it might not have made me so upset but his nonchalant attitude is unhinged. And if he wanted to refund my money, he could've refunded my money. It goes to show that these people and businesses have no integrity and could care less about their shortcomings. They don't care about wrongfully keeping your money when they know you're trying to cancel. They say it's to deter you from cancelling, but it's really to keep your money. So unless you plan on being a lifetime member, I suggest you go elsewhere!

This is a great facility. Brand new. Two floors. Equipped with several tanning beds (bronzers, hybrids, stand-up, and super beds). This PF shares a parking lot with smoothie king and buff city soap. Excellent location with Walmart and mall less than 5 minutes down the road. Membership costs $10, but if you want to have access to the tanning beds and other PF locations you have to opt for the $30/mo membership. Unfortunately there were some additional initial “signup fees” (hidden fees) and they require your banking info instead of just your debit card. If you want to cancel your membership you have to go in-person to do so.

The gym itself really is world class. Best PF gym I’ve been to — plenty of exercise equipment, 24/7 staff, perfect lighting with lots of windows, temperature is good, space is large, and cleanliness is 💯

Changed my review to 1 star due to the ridiculous hours of operation. Gym needs to be more accessible.

TL/DR: Open the gym 24/7 again !!!

I really like the gym. Plenty of equipment though lacking a few things (hack squat & belt squat machine). Also id like some larger dumbbells and more weight at the Smith machines since there isn't any other free weights. They have a good selection of bands and a trx station. There is room to stretch and multiple places to do Chin-ups as long as you don't need assistance. I love the second floor and having room to spread out. Now the reason it's rated 3☆ instead of 5☆...I joined a 24/7 gym. I pay for the black card membership so that I can workout wherever and whenever. They shut down 24 hour access during covid and never resumed. Please bring it back I know there aren't a ton of us who work out @ 3 a.m. on the weekend but I like to keep a consistent schedule and this is killing me!

Everything and everyone was so great. They were so helpful. I love the ease it is to exercise without worrying how uncomfortable it is. Then let's talk about the different massage beds and chairs. That hydro massage was the absolute best. Thank you for bringing that into my life!!!

Hands down the best gym I've ever been to and I've been around the country. Can I just say the best part was the shower room? Literally was a room and around the corner was the actual shower. Plenty of room to shower and change in the same place. This gym has two levels, lots of gym equipment and they were consistently cleaning. Shout out to the team members here. We appreciate you!

A very clean, fun environment. Lots of equipment to work with. Read worth the money. Only $20.00 per month and you can use all of the equipment provided. Go at your pace. I love PF!!!
