Come down quite often for vacation and have used several different gyms. Contacted Marty and he was extremely helpful at getting me in so I didn’t miss a workout. Words cannot describe how amazing this gym is, this is by far one of the best gym environments I have ever been in. Everyone in this gym is there to get work done and it’s an amazing atmosphere. On top of that the equipment is top notch, and CLEAN. But above all of that the owner Marty is super nice and really inviting, and will make sure you have a great experience. Phenomenal environment focused on bettering each other. No toxic personalities, no awkward people staring at you. For those that wish to do posing and mirror shots, there is a mirror room dedicated to that, with phone stand and 360 mirrors and lighting choices.

Best gym I’ve ever been to. Owner actually works out as well, and KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT. Man is an absolute unit! 12/10. 6 stars.

I am visiting Foley, Alabama for a couple of weeks and decided to check out the Southern Muscle Factory—I'm so glad I did! The gym is filled with old-school equipment that is rarely seen in most places anymore. My home gym in the Boston area, Bayshore Athletic Club, has similar equipment, so I was able to maintain my routine exactly as usual, which I had been nervous about while traveling. Marty, the owner, and his wife, Amber were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Also, the 24-hour access was awesome. The members were just as friendly, creating a genuine sense of community. This is easily one of the best gyms I've ever worked out at while traveling!

Good machine variety but lacks some fundamentals like a squat rack with proper safeties. It can be pretty annoying to find 2 of the same plates in the gym and staff is rarely present. Having 1 flat bench/squat/deadlift was annoying at times but manageable. better gyms nearby

Came in for vacation and googled a local gym and email said to call or text. Being it was Memorial Day I sent a text knowing they were closed. I texted for a 3 day pass and the owners and his wife both were extremely helpful and even got me into the gym on their day off. This gym is fantastic! It has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly people, and the owners are actively involved and present. Unlike others in the area, it's truly open 24/7. The equipment is a great mix of new and older pieces, some of which are unique to this gym. You can tell it's owned and operated by knowledgeable fitness enthusiasts.
