I canβt say enough good things about this gym! The program they have set up is incredible, especially the circuit training with the trainer. Every session is challenging but fun, and the way the workouts are structured keeps me motivated and excited to show up.
The trainer really knows how to push you in the right wayβencouraging without being overwhelmingβand the variety in the circuit keeps it fresh while hitting every muscle group. On top of that, my cardio endurance has improved so much since starting. Iβm seeing amazing results in both strength and conditioning, and I feel stronger, leaner, and more energized than I have in years.

Itβs absolutely fabulous! My husband and I have been going for a little over 3 months. The workouts are different each day with challenging exercises that can all be modified if necessary and the flexibility of class times is really convenient. Not to mention leaving the house, completing a solid workout and then back home all within an hour is key for me, plus all the coaches are extremely helpful, encouraging and motivating. Sarah runs a great program!

I searched for a gym for what feels like forever since I moved to AL. I knew I needed some type of gym class that had convenient hours as a working mom of 2. When I found Sweat440 Madison it was a game changer for me. I tried 1 class and was HOOKED, I mean who wouldnβt be, the classes are only 40 minutes of my day and they have great morning and evening hours that worked for my schedule! Having every workout planned out for those 40 minutes was really what had me, Iβve never thrived in an open gym, having to plan a workout ahead of time or think of one on the spot was so much stress for me and then I felt like I had to be there for 2+ hours just to feel like I accomplished anything. At Sweat440, itβs all already thought of for you & you get one heck of a workout. I have never been so excited to go get a workout in before in my life. The coaches are amazing, they push you but also will be there to help you with modifications and making sure your form is spot on. I love Sweat440 Madison and Iβm so glad I found my place here, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a hard but convenient workout, especially those moms out there!

I absolutely love Sweat 440! Prior to starting working out at Sweat in February 2023, I had always worked out at home or by myself in a gym. During their grand opening celebration, a friend invited me to try it out and I instantly fell in love with the group fitness concept because accountability is so important for maintaining consistency! Having friends and coaches there waiting on you to show up each day is very motivating and something to look forward to! I go to the 5am class every day, and the manager/coach Sarah always greets me with a big smile when itβs too early for me to smile yet!π On Saturday mornings, Coach Remi is always there ready to make me laugh (which is good because Saturday full body warrior classes are TOUGH) while also pushing me to pick up heavier weights and challenge myself to work harder. The workouts are very dynamic and are a great combination of HIIT and strength with lots of good compound movements so you get a lot of quality work in! There is a daily focus with new workouts each day, so you really get to work your whole body each week. You can make the workouts as hard or as easy as you want them to be by modifying movements or changing weights, so all fitness levels can find what works for them. The coaches are always there to help with those things, give suggestions, and stay very engaged with the members during the workouts! I love the atmosphere at Sweat, the people, and the quality of the workout you get in 40 minutes is absolutely outstanding! I cannot say enough good things about this place! ππ»π€©π

I love working out here. I quit all kinds of gyms and programs but i have stuck with this consistently since April. Not intimidating, not a cult. It challenges you. Itβs different every day. There are 4 stations with three evercise. The instructions are very detailed. Coaches are there to help but are not in your face. I just wish they were open a little later on Fridays annd Saturdays and had Sunday hours.

I started SWEAT 440 in early 2023, as part of a free trial from being a RED X fitness member. The class schedule and length was very convenient for me. With classes starting at 5:00 am and a new class every 10 minutes. So, even if the 5 am class was booked the 5:10 or 5:20 class was open, which works great for my family and I's schedule, as I can get in, get after it, get home and shower and get my kids ready for school and myself ready for the work day. The class times are punctual, which I greatly appreciate it.
When I started, I thought I was in pretty good shape. I lifted weights three times a week and ran the other three. Then I did my first class. SWEAT 440 uses HIIT, but it could be called RIIT for Really Intense Interval Training. The class consists of four stations, with three exercises to each substation. Each exercise last for 45 seconds with a 15 second break in-between. After nine minutes there is a one minute break as you crawl to the next station and drink some water.
But not to worry, if your a beginner or have a bad knee or shoulder Sweat 440 coaches are there to show you alternate ways to perform the exercise that fit your level or condition. I myself have bad knees, somedays there fine, other days there not. If there was a workout that my knees couldn't handle, the coach's were there to instruct me on alternate methods. On the flip side the coach's will also motivate you, so that you get the max from every workout. I have been caught several times not as going as hard I could have gone and was given a reminder to get after it. Don't get me wrong they are not drill instructors, but excellent motivators.
I also really like the class structure. Mondays and Thursdays is legs, Tuesdays and Fridays upper body/arms, Wednesday Core and conditioning, and Saturday full body conditioning. Though there are set days the classes are all different and after a full month there are rarely repeated exercises with the exception of the rower and air bike, which is a good thing, they are put in to let you actively recover. The classes will also actively target different body parts. For example, as I write this on Thursday, todays class was lower body but there was a focus on hamstrings and glutes. Another lower body day may focus on quads, calves, or even balance. This is a good thing as you will discover your weak points and have ample opportunity to improve them.
If it's results your looking for you will get them. From just a month I have lost four pounds. The biggest thing, for me, was that my resting heartrate has gone from around 76 bpm to around 65 bpm. After the first two weeks of classes I found I had better levels of energy and my sleep had improved dramatically.
Lastly, the class size is 6 people. Each station is divided into 3 substations with two people to a substation. For most classes you get assigned someone to workout with. I'm naturally a competitive person. Having a person work out next to me turns on my competitive nature driving to go faster and lift heavier or at least keep pace with person next to me. There is also a flip side to that. Sometimes the exercises will just be extremely grueling, and you struggle to even try to do 15 seconds of it, let alone 45 seconds. Then you pop your head up and see the other person struggling as well, and you are assured to know that its not just you struggling.
All in all, if you're a beginner trying just getting started and not sure what to do or someone looking for a class to push themselves to the next level, SWEAT 440 is a great option.
