Visited The Gym in Oneonta, Alabama last week while in town to see family and got a day pass. This place is impressive! Housed in a former Walmart, it’s spacious with a variety of equipment—free weights, machines, a walking track, swimming pool, and sauna. The facility is spotless, which I really appreciate. Tammy was incredibly friendly, gave me a great tour, and the day pass fee was very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area! Highly recommend.

Love this gym but the management and front desk could use improvement. I had a previous contract, for which the payments stopped coming out, which made me assume the contract was up only to be hit with $300+ at once plus a late fee 6 months later. Management couldn’t explain why the payments stopped coming out or what happened and still had to pay them. If the payments would have came out the way they were supposed to, I would know I had a contract for a service I wasn’t using and would have cancelled, but I had to pay 6 months worth of service not even provided. I hope they train their employees and management because they really do offer good classes!

I have been a member here for 3 years for the most part it is a great gym it's clean they have lots of machines and plenty of amenities. But today I asked about using one of their amenities the ice bath a nice gentleman said he'd look into it for me he was very polite then two women one of which was gray haired came out to make sure I wasn't in there and informed me in a loud voice in front of everyone in the pool area (which admittinly was four people) that that amenity was for paid members and then you had to pay extra after you pay to use it as if my membership hasn't been paid on time every time for the last 3 years. For her to insinuate that I don't pay my bills when my membership has been paid on time for 3 years was absolutely disrespectful and humiliating I'll take my business elsewhere

Now in fairness I did yell at the little counter girl and i'm sorry for that.

My first gym experience and been going for couple of years because its only a few miles from where I live, I needed the exercise and my insurance paid for it so all around a great deal. I have no complaints and seems to me they have a lot to offer - a children's area, rooms for exercise classes, weight room, a variety of exercise equipment, indoor and outdoor tracks and large Olympic size pool as well a numerous programs and instructors throughout the year.. I find the facility to be very clean with an open like feel about it and always enjoy my visits.

Nice, clean facility. Has a lot to offer. I really like that they have disinfectant bottles on nearly every machine. My issue is that the people that go there aren't very sociable or friendly. In fact, some are downright rude and inconsiderate. It's too bad, as I like the facility but I haven't had good experience there because the users make it uncomfortable for newbies. Also, the fact that they don't have 24/7 access is a strong negative for me.

The Gym is awesome. They have all the equipment you need and some. They were very understanding and helpful when creating/cancelling a membership. 10/10 recommend for anyone interested in finding a gym.

This is a really nice gym. I have never had any problems until today when I spoke with a manager named Lynn about how they were still taking money out of my account when my year contract ended last month. I did not renew or sign another years contract. She was very rude and very unprofessional. I have never had any problems with staff until today. Everyone is always so nice and so helpful. If you do not write a written statement stating that you don’t want to renew your contract they will just keep attacking your bank account. Seems you would have to sign ANOTHER year contract when it is up but apparently not here. Very disappointed! If you plan on getting a membership here, just be aware of this situation.

I just got a tour of this place yesterday and I signed up and because I love to swim, they offer a Olympic size pool, and hot tub, so if you love the water, I recommend this gym.
My first day exercising today was awesome.
The owner is really nice and very helpful too. And of course if you love to lift weights and use a bike or you enjoy taking a class, this gym offers a variety of things.

NOT HAPPY ABOUT FALSE HOURS!! I recently decided to start going to the gym and working out....im a Blount county local.the gym was on the top of the list....GREAT PLACE!! but I havent committed to full membership yet...the website says they close at 10...so I came in tonight and found out that they closed at 9 instead of 10..i would have payed the 15 guest fee for 2 hours,but not 1...and the girl working really did nothing to help!! Other than that,its a great place!!thanks

Management is unprofessional dealing with childcare issues. If you have children staying with morning shift keep a check in on your little ones. Issues with gate being left open. Caregiver falling asleep and on her phone all time.😡

I tried giving them a second chance. Years ago, there were problems with the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub. I joined last year and tried using the facilities but not much has changed. Every time I went, there was sand and other items on the bottom of the pool. The water was so cold that it would cause my back to hurt. The hot tub was either broken down or dirty every day I went. They get you to sign a 1 year contract so I have been paying for a service that I really would like to have used, but I refuse to put my body through this process. I haven't seen any improvement from years ago to now. Too bad, they have such potential.
