I was a long-time member at 24/7 Get Fit in Somerton, but 2025 was the final straw for me. One day, I was trying to enter the room next to the restrooms. The door was closed and felt stuck, which didn’t surprise me since the gym is so run-down. As I pushed it open with my shoulder, a man slammed the door on me, hitting my right shoulder.
I later confronted him and even recorded the interaction. He literally laughed in my face. I informed the staff (if you can even call them that), and called the police when I got home. I decided not to press charges because I was about to move out of state, but I wanted to file a report just in case he ever tried to hurt me again, at least there would be a video recording of him in the police’s possession. I thought the gym would at least do the right thing and ban the man who assaulted me. But no he kept showing up, week after week. I’d constantly see him chatting with the girl who works there, so I can only assume they’re friends.
Instead of addressing the real issue, the only thing the gym did was remove the doorknob and tape up a sign telling people not to close the door. No apology. No concern for my safety. Nothing.
This gym isn’t just physically disgusting it smells like piss, the machines are falling apart, and the women's restroom hasn’t been properly cleaned in over a year. I’ve seen pee stains behind the toilet paper roll that never get touched. Compare that to their Yuma location, where it’s clear they pay for cleaning staff. Somerton gets zero care.
You’ll constantly deal with groups of teens hogging the equipment, blasting loud music on their speakers.
I stopped going to Somerton because I felt unsafe every time I saw the man who intentionally assaulted me. I started driving to the Yuma location just to avoid this nightmare.

The gym is in a notably unsanitary condition, with dust accumulating on the walls. The seats and rests of the machines are damaged. This facility offers only one set of dumbbells for the entire population of Somerton that attends at 4 AM and 6 PM. The management appears to be lacking. Members are charged the same fees as at other locations, yet the amenities are not comparable. Can't wait for 4th ave to be built.

Le comenté a la muchacha que ahorita no tenía ninguna tarjeta y que iba a salir de vacaciones de hecho no he usado un solo día el servicio y aún así me mandó que me iban a mandar a colecciones y un Fide $20 y yo le comenté que iba a estar fuera de la ciudad no recomiendo para nada este servicio aparte tengo como 70 llamadas que no contestan

This gym used to be better. It has not been updated since this gym has been here. Machines are old, dumbbells are ripped up and old. The new worker does not have place as clean as the previous worker before she got promoted. If gym does not improve by the time 4ave builds the gym i may have to switch to 4th ave.

Young lady is rude and mean on few occassions i've heard she has laughed at me. The people at the gym are probably the best about the gym other than that the place is always dirty the staff isn't very organized as compared to san luis and yuma 24/7 gyms. wish it was better !!

This gym is very nice and very equipped (even though some things are outdated) but that was cleared by the manager at the facility as she explained that the new Somerton gym will be something good to look forward to. I am always greeted when coming in and get a friendly goodbye after my workout. It’s very tidy and it’s easy to find all the equipment. Thank youuu! Will for sure stay with this gym longer!

Its never clean and the girl that works there its rude but only to some people (girls) and always complaining about her job and making faces for “doing” her Job and when i went to pay my month payment she took an hr to open the door being right there and i told her “ i been outside for an hr and she just ignored me everything would be perfect but the customer service👎🏼👎🏼thats why people rather go all the way yuma

Clean and convenient place. Everyone, customers included, have been friendly so far, and they don't get bothered if you are a beginner. There have been various people who have helped my wife learn how to utilize the various pieces of equipment.

It's alright for what it is. It's a tiny gym with limited equipment. They only have one set of weight groups so it's kinda hard if you're trying to grab the 25lb dumbbells and someone else is already using it. Looking forward to when they build the new gym.

For Somerton the gym is great. Only negative thing is they aren’t very organized. they slack on getting things clean. Trash is always overflowing, water bottles on the floor for days at a time. And weights are all over the floor.
