I absolutely love this Gym from the location, equipment, Staff and most importantly the people, I've had the pleasure of meeting so many peers who are wiling to share knowledge or help out in any way possible. The gym culture here is amazing. For the most part it's very low volume but even when it's "busy" every one gets along and shares equipment/ machines if needed

This gym may be small, but it has everything you need for a full-body workout. The equipment is on par with what you’d find in big-name gyms, and the weight increments go heavy enough that you won’t find yourself maxing out too soon. Whether you’re training strength or endurance, there’s plenty to work with.

The only downside is that the punching bag has seen better days and could use a replacement. Other than that, it’s a solid gym with quality equipment for serious lifters.

The Anytime Fitness at Dysart/waddell is an effective and relaxing location for working on my fitness goals. The on-site staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are ready to assist people on their individual goals. Yes, the facility is small, but it is well-maintained and improvements are constantly being made. The equipment and cardio machines are good and there is more than enough equipment for folks to use. The other clients are interesting too and are focused on their improvements. Thanks!

Awesome anytime fitness location! Often times we are the only ones here in the morning. Equipment is clean and well set up, smaller than other location gyms but they have everything that you need here and nice showers/bathrooms. They also have good music playing. Since the last time we were here they have made some updates in terms of modernizing the place and repainting, love to see the improvements!!

Tricked me into signing the year long contract even when I explicitly said I don’t want that one as I will not be living here for a full year. Admittedly it is partly my fault perhaps for not reading the contract as intently as I could have, but I breezed through it after being assured by the associate it was not the year long term but one that I could cancel at any time. Upon trying to cancel the person working there said I had to deal with the person who signed me up because he didn’t make that mistake. When I asked why he couldn’t do it as he is a representative of the company he gave no valid response. He was extremely abrasive and wildly unhelpful offering little to no solutions. When I brought up that this is terrible customer service he told me he does not work in customer service, which does not make sense to me since he was sitting at the desk, in the office, for customers to walk up to. To be clear he was not a trainer but someone actually staffing the desk. Overall terrible experience. Do not recommend at all. Just get an Eos membership down the road and save yourself the headache

The staff or management has made fraudulent accounts to charge former members. I haven't been there since before COVID and my card has been getting charged. Cancelling this membership is also a pain, as they don't handle it in office and you'll have to call several phone numbers with outsourced customer services reps from across the globe. I had a cancelled membership at another gym that closed permanently that was transferred here. Not sure why considering my membership contract was no longer effective as of October 2023. I wasn’t aware of the fact that my membership had transferred and I was getting bombarded with calls, texts, and letters saying I owed money to this gym. I had not and will never step foot into this gym after my experience of running in circles over the phone just to waive a bill that I should’ve never gotten. Dan was who helped me over the phone and although he did help (which I will give one star for that matter), he said “i’ll make you a deal, i’ll take 20 minutes out of my day to help you waive these fees and you write us a good review on google”. I was baffled at this point and told him I don’t write reviews for places I’ve never been to as it is dishonest and unfair to people who make decisions based on reviews. I would also like to add, Dan, you did not take 20 minutes out of your day to help me, you took 20 minutes out of your WORK day to help me. That is your job. I’ve never in my life had someone try to guilt trip me into writing them a good review. If this was my experience, I can only imagine how many of the reviews are dishonest. I wouldn’t trust this place at all. Two stars for Dan’s help. The only thing this place has going for it is employees that do what they’re supposed to at the bare minimum.

Walked in and was immediately hit with a sickening sweet,musty, mold smell..it was dimly lit and dingy throughout the whole place...the bathroom floor had water almost to the doorway when i walked in there to take a shower, no toilet paper or paper towels in there either...when i did take a shower i got around 30 to 45 seconds of hot water..i gave it 4 tries because i thought maybe their cleaning/ maintenance person was off or whatever..it never changed.
I travel quite extensively through the U.S and this is the worst location ive come across hands down

To all of the members thank you so much for the Excellent reviews about Me the Coach. It has been a tough road the last 5 years until Feb 14th 2023, as I walk away. The old owner only gave me 1 days notice after no pay the last 3 years. Between Gilbert and I at least 6,000 dollars between us spent on the gym, no help from Old Owner. One of the cleanest gyms ever. Washing my hands after the workout proves its not nearly as grimey as other places. Scott the manager is extremely helpful and kind. The only place to workout if you need access 24/7. Temperature is perfect. Equipment selection is great, cardio, free weights, machines, olympic barbels and plates, free space for warm up cool downs and everything in between. All the members are very respectful of one another, easy to ask people for assistance. Would give Scott and his gym 10 stars if I could. This place is awesome.

I don't know how this location stays open. It is in complete disarray. Needs lots of help. Very small, old equipment, half of which are broken. Only 2 bathrooms, one which has a unusable sink. A/C broken, place has about 7 floor fans spread throughout to blow around hot air. Absolutley terrible location at best.

Amazing place! I travel a lot and have visited many Anytime Fitness locations, but this one tops them all! Clean, well maintained--and a great manager. Scott seems to always be there (I've been there in the morning and the evening), and he knows members by name. He's a great source of information and tips. He goes out of his way to help people. Tonight I was having a hard time updating my payment info (because the automated system requires contract number and member ID--neither of which I knew--can't believe anybody would). Scott made one call, and I was quickly able to update my account. Great place! Highly recommend!

I've visited three Anytime gyms while staying in the area. This location is quite outdated compared to the other two. Smaller, with older equipment. Also, none of the other 4-5 people there were wearing masks on arrival or during their workout. I didn't stay long.

Once I left the gym they turned my name over to a collection agency to try to make me pay for a membership that I never signed. Told me I owed like $250 basically bc I left the gym. I dont care what other posts say, this gym is wonderful! I feel bad that people are missing out of a great workout and experience just because they are closed minded. Other gyms dont have Coach Scott! He is really the heart of it all. I had a 3 year membership at Planet Fitness and NEVER have they allowed me to reach my potential like Coach has. Honestly I have met and known more trainers here than the 3 years I was over there. It truly is a family atmosphere where everyone really pushes each other positively. I haven't even met the owner but Coach Scott makes me feel like shes there with us. He known her so long, she's like a daughter. That feels good to know because it reinforces the family atmosphere. I've been trying to cancel my membership. Manager says he doesn't have access to the financials, only the owner Jen does, and she doesn't answer her phone, email or come into the gym. So I don't even know if she exists. Cancelled in February and was still charged March and April. Then I cancelled my card and they sent me to collections for past due. This place is a joke.

Again read all comments..... when it comes to canceling the membership no one will help you. I was a member for 3yrs
Went and cancelled my gym membership was told if I wanted to freeze it by the employee Scott I mentioned no. I was there to cancel. 6mos later I get hit with a collection call I owed over $450 due to a uncanceled membership. I never got a heads up by the manager Scott yet he would message me to gossip or to forward messages that certain members missed me or wanted to take me on dates😠

I don’t know if it’s because they wanted to keep their number of memberships high because that’s all they care about but that’s just rude. They need to understand that they will have members leave and it’s okay.

I’m currently working on a lawsuit and maybe get my money back as the collectors also mentioned I was on a new membership contract and that I had recently signed when the only time I signed was back in dec 2016 so my contract should have been expired and on a month to month membership.

I hope this Can at least save the hassle to someone. And good luck to all members when they want to leave the gym. It’ll cost you more than joining.

I walked in for a free 7 day pass and was pleasantly greeted by the manager Scott who is also a longtime football coach. His passion and enthusiasm for people are second to none. Within a few minutes of chatting with him I couldn't help but notice the POSITIVITY and how GENUINE he is with each and every person that walks through the door, it's 100% infectious.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this gym to anyone of all ages. Gym is open 24/7 and is always clean and an excellent place to work out. They offer short term and long term memberships, personal training and the gym has showers if needed.

Smallest gym at biggest gym prices. Only has 2 dirty bathrooms, soap almost always empty. Black tape used on cracked cushions on some of the machines. My key fob would not work several times leaving me stuck until sending emails to regain access the next day. Way overpriced. When we lived in Surprise, AZ my husband went to this gym. We have since moved out of state. Cancelling the membership has been impossible. We fianlly got a hold of someone who said the memberbsip had been cancelled but for 2 months the money was still automatically being deducted from our account. We contacted our bank to put an end to the deductions. My husband tried a few more times to get a hold of someone and when he did they said they would reimburse us for the two canceled months we paid for. The reimbursement was paid for only one month, in cash with a hand written note. They stated they could only give us one month at the current time. So with all that said, my husband is now receiving phone calls from anytime fitness for what sounds like collections! We are shocked, laughing and pissed. So beware, if you move, you'll still be paying them in more ways then one. Also a good point to make is when my husband tried to call and cancel they told him to go to any Anytime Fitness and cancel his membership that way. He tried that, but the guy at the gym here in WA said he couldn't cancel because his gym would take the hit. He informed us to cancel with the original gym. So it makes since the owners of this El Mirage gym are avoiding us and making things complicated.

I would never treat my customers that way. I drive 30 minutes to get to this small, expensive gym with NO squat rack and will be switching as soon as the location near me opens up. This location does not care about their customers. Expensive and not worth it.

Passing through Phx, stopped here to do some squats...no power rack...there's a Smith machine though.

Other than that, they have a good selection of Hammer strength and life fitness machines.

If you want to do bench and squats though, you're SOL...unless you do it on the Smith machine.

They are trying to get more money when you aren't even under contract!.......if you cancel during the month you paid for ....they still want you to pay for the next 30 days even though you aren't going there ......keep in mind you already paid for and are not attending the gym for the previous 30 days and it's in that month you call and cancel before the next bill is do ......you pay for the non contract membership in advance monthly......you shouldn't have to pay for a month that you are not going to be there if you cancle within the last month Paid for .....meaning before the new billing month.......

I usually go to the Anytime Fitness in Norterra by my work but decided to check out this one for when my boyfriend and I want to work out together. This one is right between us. It has decent equipment but i found it lacking a lot of components that I like about Norterra. I do plan on using this one with my boyfriend due to convenience but we will go in knowing it's lacking some huge key elements. I gave a low rating for the lack of hand sanitizer, no hair dryers, a couple machines looked broken, the assisted dead lift machine needs a good cleaning and probably replaced all together to be honest. Oh and the water fountain and area around it is GROSS. Super super nasty. Please clean it, there is calcium stains and red "stuff" in it. Bleh!

I wanted to check it out so I signed up for a trial membership since it is so close to my house. The customer service was not that good, no smile on the employee. I was not shown around the gym (it was small so I could see everything from one part of the room). I went in a couple times & it was a good workout & no problem getting on equipment. My big issue is I wanted to speak to the manager & get in a workout & the gym closes for trial members @ 7:00p I got there 10 minutes until 7, & the gym was locked tight. I looked at my phone & it said 6:50p. Closed early. I feel that if the hours on paper say 7:00p. It should stay open until 7:00p. Needless to say I went home to workout & never went back to Anytime Fitness.
