Not even on contract and Noel won't cancel my membership. He said "there's a right and a wrong way to do things" then when I tell him I ran gyms before and never made it this difficult, he hung up on me, like a child. Just got my annual fee, too, even though I'm canceling and he's still won't cancel unless I pay another month.

I am a dedicated gym and fitness person. At age 61 I'm in great shape as a result. I've lived, worked or traveled in 15 different countries all over Asia Pac, EU and N. America since 2002. Every time I travel somewhere, the first thing I look up is a good gym nearby my hotel. I've used about a dozen different gyms over the years dating back to the 1980's. The Anytime Fitness in Lake Havasu City is one of the best I've ever used. Highly recommended. I've also used the Anytime Fitness gyms in St. Petersburg FL and Boulder City NV. They are also very good. EOS and 24 Hr are also solid, good gyms.

I travel a lot and visit many gyms. I generally steer away from chain gyms, but this Anytime Fitness is wayyyyy different. There’s an independently owned and community vibe. I don’t like a lot of chit chat and a gym trying to sell me memberships or anything extra. Getting day a day pass multiple times during my visit was easy and effortless. There was no paperwork, no giving out my personal info; the guy didn’t even ask my name. I appreciate being able to just walk in and enjoy my workout hassle-free. Huge gym with tons of equipment - a lifters paradise.

The gym is decent when I go. The meter is a little off on the app but that’s just technology I guess. No one answers the phone, which really sucks because when I called to tell them i wasn’t going to be in town for six months due to a work training they didn’t answer or call me back. But here we are about a week after they tried to pull my membership fees after I tried to call to change it because again, I’m not near a location to go into, they send me to collections. For $29. I think maybe I should reconsider and go workout in Kingman when I return back to Havasu

I've been a member of Anytime Fitness since 2008. I've had four different home gyms in two states and often travel for work. I've been in well over a hundred clubs across the country. This location is in my top 5—great facility, staff, and equipment. My only negative would be the carpet needing to be replaced and an inoperable AMT. Everything else is excellent, and I look forward to returning.

Matt Wallinder is very knowledgeable about anatomy and has introduced me to exercises that alleviate my migraines as well as giving me an outstanding workout twice a week. He knows just how far to push and when not to push too much physically so I get the best out of my workouts without days of pain afterward. I have to say that this gym is the best gym I’ve ever been to. The staff and the owner make you feel as if you are family. They know everyone’s name they make sure everybody is safe, Meaning if Medical issues they’re on top of it.
I chose to have a personal trainer, Nayeli. She is an amazing trainer All these years of my workouts I have been doing them wrong. My form was off Where I risk injury. That’s no longer the case Nayeli keeps a sharp eye out to make sure everything is done correctly. Her knowledge and her craft Is unsurpassed. She is affordable and she gives it 150% every time. The part that I like that she does is she pushes me past my comfort zone And beyond. In such a short time, I have gained strength, and my physique is changing. These are the best people in the business in my opinion You can’t go wrong coming to Anytime.

I tried canceling my gym membership because I know longer live in this city. Manger Noel or whatever his name is has refused my cancellation over email. So I go back to Lake Havasu over 200 miles away. I went in on a week day and he wasn’t there and the poor young gentleman said he would need manager approval. The young gentleman with the curly hair was a great representation of a customer service. But if you can’t allow people to cancel over email/phone and can’t be there on a week day morning to cancel. I travel for work due to being a travel SLP. I tried to cancel early because I returned home and it would take 40+ minutes to get to the gym and they basically said they don’t care. When I signed up, the lady told me it would be easy to cancel if I move from the location. They say anything to get your money. Don’t trust them. I’m 22 miles away from anytime (tolls required to get there) and the contract says 25. You think they’d be reasonable and understanding.

Anytime Fitness is the ONLY way to go. The biggest factor is I can be in the gym at ANYTIME I want. Other local gyms may not even stay open past 10, or are ONLY scheduled classes. This location has recently had a change in ownership and management and the improvements have been swift and noticeable. New members being escorted around daily, full class schedules, clean facilities, organized equipment, well maintained machines. There is a lot of pride restored in this business and the current and future members are very appreciative of this fact! I've been moved here two yrs ago from California, and I had worked out and tried many fitnesses center,( 24hrs fitness, 21 fitness, Crunch,...) tried work-out classes, but none of them like the morning classes here. One instructor for most of morning classes, yoga, zumba, strong, ect....weak and boring. And I tried deviated some movement ( for instance stand-up instead sit on the chair, used 8-10lbs dumbell instead 1 or 2lbs like everybody else) and been told that I could not do that ,have to follow her movements. Must be not the class for me ! Is this place for Fitness, or Rehab, Physical therapy place? I'm so dissapointed.

This place is a scam. I tried to cancel my membership 4 different times before moving and nobody was ever in the office. I have since moved, called the main number to cancel the membership and was told only the actual club can cancel the membership. They sent an email, no response from the club, they then tried to call 4 separate times and no answer at the club. It's a giant scam. They make it impossible to cancel the membership when nobody is there to do it, when they don't answer emails or phone calls. This is theft!!!!!

Went by to create a membership and Manager was not helpful and extremely unprofessional. My insurance was "not active" and when I mentioned it working over at another gym, manager was extremely annoyed and rude about it. Website "guest hours" don't reflect what's on their business door.

Didn't offer any 1 day pass or way to try and fixe this and just told me to come back another time.

Just moved here from california. I showed up Monday tue and Wednesday in person to get a membership. Nobody answers. I called all week nobody answered. I left a message nothing. I joined Anytime Fitness about 18 months ago. The machines are awesome and there are fitness classes for everyone whether you're 20 or 80. I try to go between 10:00 and 2:00 as that's when they aren't very busy but I've never had a problem getting on the machines I want. This place is very clean and open 24 hours. I love it!

This is a larger 2 story Anytime. All the equipment is in good condition and the shower/bathrooms are very clean. It's one of my favorites in the Anytime system.
