I have taken 8 lessons from Cody. And so far I was shooting low 90's to now low 80's. He has re-shaped my entire swing and we have hit a lot of golf balls so I can be more consistent. If you want to get better at golf see Cody. His short game lesson just blew my mind. It was so simple and easy to understand it made me realize I was making golf hard. Drives are more accurate and 100 yards in is no longer challenging for me. To get the best deal for golf lessons see Cody. He's so good I'm going to send my daughter to take lessons from him as well. My first golf lesson ever. Cody was down to earth, and just a cool dude with really great tips. I did the 9 hole playing lesson. I highly recommend this if you have a decent swing and you need confidence in your game. I usually shoot mid 40’s through 9 holes and my first lesson with Cody was a 39! He really showed me how to make smarter decisions, and gave me the confidence I needed. I won’t hesitate to schedule another lesson!

I am 62 and really love golf but not good at it. I feel comfortable enough on tee and green but an Iron? Literally know clue how my swing will take the ball. I know in my mind what to do. But my body just tells me to shut up. So I went to Cody for iron lessons and he broke it down for me in a few very simple to understand corrections. Much better than watching g a thirty minute YouTube video and hearing about twenty two things you should do thru your swing. I heard him. Cody is incredible, I saw him at Fred Enke under the tent and went to him when my game was in shambles and within 2 lessons, I was so much more confident in my game and not embarrassed to hit the course. I've struggled with other instructors cause they give too many swing thoughts at once but Cody was patient and explained what was going on and how to fix it. Thanks to him, I was able to enjoy my trip to Bandon and wouldn't have been possible without his guidance.

His attitude and friendliness is so refreshing, such a down to earth personality and answers all questions, regardless of how dumb. He's always available, uses a launch monitor to get you live data on the shots you are hitting. Just a really good dude but also one of the best instructors I've worked with. His availability, communication and just overall knowledge makes him someone that you want to help you on your golf journey.

If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Cody is an extremely talented instructor, but beyond that he is an even better person. My experience with Cody started when he approached me at the range and started up a quick conversation. I appreciated his friendliness and willingness to offer a couple tips. He was in no way just trying to promote his business, rather he was interested in meeting someone relatively new to golf and was invested in my journey. After that, it didn’t take long to reach out to him for help.

He is very communicative, flexible with every schedule, and puts the player first. From the very first lesson he made it very easy to understand the concepts and let me work through swing feels and thoughts. I was blown away by his ability to bridge the gap between your original golf foundation, and offer guidance to get you where you want to be. He is so great at teaching to your skill level and working within your ability, there is no cookie cutter fix with Cody and he will not let you leave with any unanswered questions.

Beyond Cody’s vast golf knowledge and impressive skill in his own game, he is an awesome mentor and friend. He took my interest in golf to a passion for golf, which is now undoubtedly a love for the game. I went from a 20-25 HCP/not even keeping score to a 10 faster than I thought was possible. I cannot say enough good things about Cody Rathbun Golf. If you are looking for the man, look no further and do yourself and game a favor, work with Cody.

I was in need of a golf Instructor and there he was at Fred Enke driving range under a tent. There are so many reasons what I like about Cody. This is his full-time job, what better golf instructor to get connected with other than a full-time teacher. Cody is available, he is always there at Fred Enke driving range under the tent. If he is not busy with a lesson, you can walk up and start your lesson right away. He has an extreme work ethic, rain or shine he is there almost 6 days a week 10 hours a day. I was looking for a golf instructor that can be flexible with my schedule. Cody can accommodate you at 7am in the morning or 5pm in the evening. With me being somewhat older and brand new to golf is a bad combination, guess what? Cody is your man that can make you a better player, I have witnessed to my own eyes and ears, he can work with a newbie and give me instructions to my level. He can work with advance players and give instructions to their level. Cody has it all, instant replay of your swing, electronic swing analyzer that can tell exactly what you are doing. Most importantly, he has a bag full of training aids that he will use to help you visualize how to improve. Cody has a sense of humor, great personality, most of all, he is known to most of the players in Tucson. Cody has been playing golf since he was a little kid around Tucson so he knows everyone. The reason I am doing this review, people like Cody with that amazing work ethic deserves nothing but the best and you will not be disappointed if you take a lesson with Cody Rathbun.
