What should have been a simple account upgrade has turned into nearly four months of unresolved billing issues and poor internal communication.

I was told I had to cancel and recreate my account in order to add another person, and that the sales team would handle it. I followed every instruction exactly as given. Since then, I have continued to be charged on the old account, and no one has taken real ownership of fixing it.

Each department points fingers at another, there is no clear case owner, and I have been unable to speak directly with a general manager or anyone with real authority to resolve this. For a business to struggle this much with something as basic as canceling an account and stopping billing is extremely concerning.

At this point, public reviews are the only way to get a response. I am simply requesting:

Confirmation that my old account is fully canceled
A refund of all incorrect charges
All services under one correct account

This should have taken days — not months.

This gym is a disaster. The staff are unhelpful, give misleading information, and clearly don't care about members at all. Parents get the worst of it--constant runaround, surprise charges, and zero support. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. Specifically Emma, a manager at this location, was rude and blamed her "younger staff members" and wouldn't do right by her members. This was being as polite as I could be.

It’s a great gym, the only one that’s near me since I live in AJ…I only have it 3 stars because everytime I need to use the bathroom in the lockers, I get a massive headache from the strong cleaning smell or whatever they use that is giving it that smell.

Had the craziest treatment by staff at this gym. Received a phone call because my teenage son (who has a membership) was sitting on the bench up front for 5-10 minutes. Brendan Willis, the 18 year old "GM" followed me around the gym, threatened to call my teenager in for 'loitering' and attempted to harass & threaten me until we left. We go to many other locations and have never had problems. So crazy that this corporation is allowing their staff to act so irrationally & treat a teenage MINOR this way.

Warning: do not sit up front for 5-10 min after your workout or you will be threatened with loitering and belittled until you leave.

You need to do better EOS. Perhaps hiring a couple of adults, rather than teenagers would help 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great gym my favorite of all the gyms I’ve worked out at. Unfortunately I’m moving to Prescott Valley soon and for some reason they don’t have there. They have flooded the Phoenix area with gyms but haven’t expanded beyond that. The Prescott/Prescott Valley area is ripe for a good gym, think about it EOS!

Very dishonest place. Don’t ever sign any contracts. I haven’t been there in one year and they are still charging me for a 4 months contract I signed with a personal trainer and they won’t refund me. I just notice today in my statement. They couldn’t care less. I’m reporting them to the BBB

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Eōs Fitness on Signal Butte. My friends and I were singled out and treated unfairly due to our choice of footwear (that we have worn before multiple times), despite having corrected our shoes multiple times. The staff’s behavior felt targeted and unprofessional, and it was clear that the treatment was influenced by racial bias. We felt humiliated and uncomfortable, and ultimately, we were asked to leave the gym. I will now be rethinking my choice of membership at this establishment. Did a two week trial. Really wanted to like this club but the combination of the overhead music being so loud it overwhelmed my AirPods and the awful locker made me hate my time there. In the locker room, black walls and dim lighting means you can’t see inside your locker. Also, the ventilation is horrible causing the whole locker room to smell like feces every time I was there (6-7 times). Fortunately I didn’t cancel my LA Fitness membership where it’s less busy.

If your gym is going to include a pool, maybe give as much attention to that amenity as any other. The pool and the area around it are chronically dirty, rules are not enforced (no one showers before entering the pool which is disgusting), I've seen multiple people wearing shoes IN the pool, the trash can is typically overflowing and smells foul, and I could go on. Given that the local competitor gym charges significantly more per month, I would be willing to absorb a dues increase if the issue is funding better care of amenities. I realize that the majority of the staff work there primarily for the free membership, but do better, EOS Fitness, do better.

Don't get the training here, one the trainers are great but the entire system is ridiculous! I was excited for this gym to open because of the BBL room. They stated that the class would be every day drop in the room is very small. The class only holds 12 people. It takes 45 minutes. The trainer is not available every day. You cannot even utilize the equipment in the room being a black member. I am paying for an additional charge to be able to utilize the services and I am unable to do so. I already have a strict work schedule and want to utilize the equipment in the room. If I cannot work out with the instructor, I would like to utilize the room without inconvenience as I am paying for this equipment and membership. There are two negatives in regards to this problem. One I am unable to use the equipment. This room is too small to host drop in members. The instructor is not there every day only three days a week.

Pool is frequently cloudy water. Cold therapy chairs and massage chairs usually have one of them broken down, and getting it repaired takes weeks.

Just removed a star. ALL THREE cryochairs are not working and NO IDEA when any of them will be repaired. Maybe I should ask for a reduction in monthly fees.

This EoS location is well equipped and well maintained. I've been coming to this location for about 5 months and I love it. If something isn't working, it is repaired quick.

Chloe, Janee and Destiny are incredible people, always greeting you with a smile, asking how you are, telling you to have a great day. They make it very welcoming, a few of the staff should take note from them.

I visited the "Lux" location in Los Angeles and it is horrible from staff and equipment. I appreciate the Signal Butte/60 location more after that LA location visit.

I have gone to the QC location at Riggs for a year and love EOS. But when instarted going to the QC Road and Signal Butte, I love it even more!! Outside of no pool, its so much cleaner and taken care of. My only complaint is the number of people in sock feet, and members not wiping down machines. I wish they would enforce the cleanliness above all. I was told wiping down equipment is "an enforceable rule, there are signs everywhere but we won't tell them they have to wipe down equipment". And I just worry about sock feet and people getting hurt. But definitely my go to gym now!

EOS fitness is a fantastic gym, the facilities are clean and open and there is always plenty of equipment: treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, weight machines, recovery room, massage chairs, swimming pool and spa. Really cant complain as this gym has helped me reach my ultimate fit self. I’ve been going to EOS Fitness for a few months now and I’m really impressed with how clean, organized, and well-equipped it is. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, and the vibe is super motivating. There’s a great mix of cardio machines, weights, and functional training areas, so it never feels overcrowded—even during peak times.

I especially love the group fitness classes—they’re high energy and led by awesome instructors who really know how to push you while keeping it fun. The gym is always clean, the locker rooms are well-maintained, and the price is honestly a great value for everything you get.

I really like how Emily at the front desk addressed me in saying “good morning! Have a great workout” that was very friendly & curious! The manager Chloe also introduced herself & let me know if I needed any thing or had any questions she would help me which felt very comforting to know that & to put a face with the name. Later after my workout the Cryo bed I went in the leg compression wasn’t working & I went to the front desk where Emily was able to help me go on another one that did work which made my experience a 10/10 as a member 🙌 Thank you Chloe & Emily for making my first week at the gym a great experience!

We’ve enjoyed having a membership here at EOS. We come here several times a week. The facility is clean, lots of free weights, machines to use, outdoor area, pool and hot tub is great. I joined for the pool and for use of the “classroom”. I was told that it could be used by members if there were no classes happening. Front desk refused to open the room and said that it’s not allowed. If there are no classes happening, the room is just sitting there. Why not let members use it? The pool is always too busy to use (only three lanes) Not a fan of this gym and happy to go elsewhere.

The staff at this location is very friendly. All the guests are very respectful brand new location for all those to enjoy. EOS is one of the top gyms out here in Arizona and give it a five star rating with a great recommendation.

Eos billing is the worst, love the gym but when it comes to communication on billing, the staff has a mindset of dictatorship… either lying about waving fees, stating they can bill your card “ anytime “ or hiding behind a 3rd party processor removes any willingness to assist you. Everyone wants to have you join, get the membership and bring more people in but once you do that , the membership service literally stops. The gym is 24 hour gym but the basketball court closes at 9pm as staff literally stands at the door to force you out . As i wait on hold to fix a fraudulent charge on my account for over 20 mins i can’t help but wish there was another gym near me with a decent court and hours to go to because the lack of emphatic support for a few employees is very frustrating to say the least . Do better with human interaction, it’s not all about a gaining memberships it’s keeping them .

Great place. Destiny was great signing me up. She asked if my health insurance covers the fees. I found out they do and she got me sign up. Then Eloni found me the perfect trainer. He sign me up with Brandon ( the one with the man bun..lol) he listened to my health issues and is working with me to set up and workout plan that works for me. Love the vibe there.

This review is specifically for Ashley that works there. I spoke to her about some billing issues my mother has. The phone call was at least 10 minutes. She helped me find all the information I was looking for, explained what was what and was very pleasant and helpful through the whole call. I have never been to an EOS, but if all employees were as awesome as she was this place would be a 10 star gym! Thanks Ashley!
