You can be forgiven if you’ve suffered a bad experience at any EOS gym and paint them all with the same stroke. I get it. Guilty by association! I’ve unfortunately also had similar experiences at several of EOS locations. I’ve been a member since their existence in Az. HOWEVER, the EOS at 303/Bell has an edge above the others. The edge is Quinn, Madie, and Cole. They are the exception. I drive past Goodyear, Avondale, Surprise 2nd location and will drive past the 3rd Surprise location for the service I’m provided by these three when I need it. Quinn is easily the BEST representation of what CEO Rich Drengberg envisions when he hires people at the bottom. (IF Rich is reading this, this is the ONLY location in our west valley that meets, maybe exceeds any sort of gym standard for the membership cost BECAUSE of employees like Quinn.)
If members frequent different EOS’and want a good general perspective of how clean or kept the place is. Check the green turf. If it’s matted, probably not good. If it looks fluffy and not matted, (like 303/Bell) that’s a winner.

Marcus is an absolutely amazing worker at EOS fitness located in Suprise Arizona off of Bell Road. I brought my friend who is disabled and he needed a specific squat bar and Marcus went out of his way to help us find it. When we were unable to locate it together, he told us to pick a rack and wait and he came back with it Five minutes later. Marcus did not just supply us with what we needed, but instead made this feel like a safe workout environment and ensured us if we needed anything to come find him. This was a great experience and I would never chose another Gym!

The showers in the bathroom, hot tub area /hot tub, and floor in swimming area need routine addressing far more than it has been. With a spa capacity of ELEVEN..Its over crowded at 7 or 8 occupants, and no one (8 out of 10 ppl don't shower)
Eww, the water fountains. I just literally used a water tester. It's dirtier than my drink water. It mimics a filter for water. If they would let me post a video, I would. I have seen days of"foam" and drifting things. There's different music playing in different areas but next to each other.

The green functional area is so dirty. I've seen them carpet clean it once.
The Sled pole(that holds the plates) is always loose, and I've put in about 12 complaints about equipment, and then you sit there and wait for EOS to replace or address the issue..
As of 2024, I've been coming since they opened. Customer service is finally getting a little better.
Water is still scoring as non purified to the score it got compared to my sink water.

I love EOS for always being clean, having multiple machine option, and plenty of fans!
I pay for the higher package for group fitness, I am so sad that the weekday groups do not start earlier or go later as it’s literally only during my work hours :( the weekend group classes make keeping my package worth it! I used to do Zumba every Tuesday with Mel and it was a blast!! But now I do Zumba on Saturday and Yoga on Sunday with Robin and she is so expressive and fun.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Some of the people that work the front desk are rude and unprofessional. After my dues were increased in 2024 without notice, I questioned why this was happening. My wife was told before we joined that we would be "grandfathered in" at the $9.99 rate. Come to find out almost two years later, at another location, that the person who signed us up made an error on the email address. The manager at the other location showed me the email explaining everything. Why couldn't this be done at the Bell location? I'm seriously thinking of leaving EOS because of the rudeness of people and how much the facility has been run down.

The equipment is not maintained. One glaring problem is the Hydro Massage units of which there are three. 95% of the time one or more don't work, even though it is an extra monthly fee to use them. Four years ago my wife and joined EOS but under the silver slipper program. EOS told us we didn’t qualify. But we do we are over 65 years old. We joined and paid monthly. I got sick a few weeks later called them to cancel they said they would cancel it. They never did, months past until we noticed EOS did not cancel it. AVOID entirely, or when it's time to cancel, you'll regret it. You CAN upgrade your account online, but you CAN NOT cancel your account online. There's a "Cancel Request" button on the website, but it does not work. It's all geared to make canceling as difficult as possible becuse they're hoping you give up and just keep paying them.

And, when you finally make time to drive down there or call to a representative, they'll finagle a full extra month +$7 when you do go to cancel unless you cancel on the exact day your bill is due (even if you've moved out of state).

Even on the slowest days, you'll wait in line for your equipment (unless its cardio equipment).

I live in Verrado and in route to this (Bell-Surprise) location, I pass up two closer locations to me because I 10000% prefer this gym. It’s so spacious, and in my opinion the cleanest location in this area. Staff is always kind and helpful. Logan was a pleasure in assisting me to register my daughter for a membership. He was patient and answered all of my questions. He was very efficient and got us going quickly. I also enjoy the classes & variety of equipment.
