I was a fender bender where I was break checked on S Westwood. I reached out to Fernando (Manager) to obtain any camera footage that would be helpful in my case. After reaching out for the whole month of April, I had called in and finally spoke with the lady at the front desk, where she informed me that Fernando was no longer with the company, and that she would pass my message along to the new manager. I pushed my court date out a month just to wait for the footage that I was promised would be sent to me. I never heard anything back, not even a follow up call to inform me if the cameras indeed captured anything like they had promised me. I just don’t understand, Why do you have outside cameras (2) facing the street, but not willing to help gym member in obtaining footage? The main reason why I stopped attending your gym.

Enjoyed my time at Fitness 1440 in Mesa. The gym is super clean, well maintained, but never too packed, and has everything you need—free weights, machines, turf area, and 24/7 access is a big plus, especially with an unpredictable schedule. If you cancel your membership they will still charge you, I cancelled 5 months ago and have been charged every month. The machines are nice and new, but run down and a lot of them have the diagrams and instructions ripped off. The free weights are always packed. The locker room is nice but the bathroom is ehh and the showers are gross.

I started going to this gym last February or March. I got the personal trainer packages. I kept getting sick at every workout & my personal trainer advised me to go get medical attention to see what's going on. He told me to take a break from the gym until I figure out what's going on with my body. I had a procedure done & still undergoing medical stuff. I've talked to the GM. I've had my account frozen for almost a year now. I have 4 more sessions left and they are $80 a session. I have talked to members and the GM multiple times & he keeps saying he can't refund me. Just keep freezing my account. I have a MEDICAL ISSUE & know I can't go for some time & that's why I asked for a refund. I don't believe that they can't give me a refund. It's all about money. I haven't been able to find a corporate number & speak to someone other then their GM so if anyone has a higher up contact please let me know. Medical issues should be no problem to give me a refund. So yeah this gym won't care if you spend $800 for packages and get sick.

This place has been giving me the run around whenever I try to cancel my membership. I called over a month ago to cancel my membership, but they told me that I had to do that in person. I finally showed up when someone was actually working and was told that they no longer cancel memberships in person. He gave me a card with a cancellation email and a phone number. I have emailed and called and still have not received a response. I haven't even worked out here in a year or so. They didn't even give me a tour or anything when I signed up. I never felt motivated or welcomed there.

I really enjoy visiting this gym. Going on two weeks now. I typically visit in the evenings after work and there are never that many people there so it allows for multiple machines to be available most of my visit. They offer a small amount of classes in the afternoons such as Zumba and Yoga, I have yet to join them so no review on that yet. Otherwise, every area is typically clean and organized.

I got a membership and they didn’t tour me or showed me the gym nor offer classes etc. I felt discriminated, I had to walk on my own and see the equipment, rooms etc, my motivation dropped, but oh well. (I should’ve said something at the beginning). I still go there, since it’s very close to my house, and just ignore most of the gyms employees. Bathrooms are dirty almost all the time after 6pm. I try not to go. The equipment is good.

The gym is still very warm and it doesn’t feel much different from outside. The air was hot , muggy, and stagnant. Feels worse than last week.

Love this gym! It is clean, has plenty of machines and space even during busy times. Really enjoy the group classes especially MixxedFit and Target 24. I come all the way from AJ to attend them. The staff are always great and greet you with a smile and friendly hello/goodbye.
I wish I could give it 5 stars but the gym has been uncomfortably hot especially in the group fitness and Target 24 rooms. It feels like 90+ degrees in there and the tiny ceiling fans don’t help move the air much at all.

Great place for those who want to get a workout & then get on with their day - no pools, pickleball courts, or extra frills like that, and priced very well for what you get. Lots of cardio machines (treadmill, bike, elliptical, stairs, etc) plus all the weight training equipment you could ever ask for. I have been going to gyms since I was 14 years old. I've been to every kind of Gym you can think of in my 34 years of lifting. This gym by far is my favorite. The customer service is amazing. Been specifically coming to Fitness 1440 for over a year now even with memberships to other gyms in the area. The gym is well maintained/clean, has a good variety of machines and free weights, and is staffed appropriately during normal business hours. The 24/7 access is a plus - members must use the app outside of business hours to enter the gym which keeps it secure and safe.

Equipment is maintained on a regular basis and even if something is down there are plenty of alternatives. There are separate areas for cardio/HIIT, group classes, and machines/weights to target specific areas so it never feels congested even during the busiest times of the day.

The facility is always clean, well ventilated, odor free, never muggy, and well maintained inventory.
The lockers and restrooms are always clean and tidy.
The attention to detail from top to bottom of the facility really can’t be argued.
amenities and equipment are plentiful, accessible, well organized, and often updated, repaired, reupholstered, or replaced as needed which is a HUGE noticeable effort on the owners.
I can honestly say that from Florida to Az, I’ve never been to a gym where I didn’t have some type of issue whether it be hygiene, access, extended equipment breakdowns, or availability. Fitness1440 has changed that and I’m grateful that Aviana referred me here!

Clean and quite gym with not much crowd. They have machines that shows the rep count of that machine exercise and I really like using them. Separate spaces for boxing, turf area and weights area. When I started going here there were towels available at the front desk, folded. The equipment was maintained, and the atmosphere was quiet. My most recent visit had 4 paper towel machines empty, busted equipment attachments and torn pads, the water fountain with RED for a signal to change the filter immediately, and just an overall sloppy appearance.

From folded cloth towels to no towels(even paper) at all at times.

There used to be a shorter girl at the front desk that would constantly be walking around changing things out keeping the gym looking great, she never sat still. Then there was another guy, he also did his job well in my opinion. Nowadays, it's just people sitting there on their phones. Two at a time, when the entire gym is lacking in basic amenities.

I don't know what changed or why it's gone downhill so fast in the past year, but it sucks. Really used to love this gym, now every time I go it's "spot what else they're neglecting today!". Starting to add up to too much. They are still better than eos though.

I would like to give a shout out to my ultimate Physical trainer. His name is Holvik Castro. He is very professional in his approach with your individualized training for you. Gives details to the machines, devices that help you in your individual workout. He sets you up for success to better your physical and mental needs. The biggest obstacle is YOU. I was going to give the front desk staff Isabella a five star review last week when i walked in and she answered all my questions and give me a tour and helped me to know all about the options for a Christmas gift for the gym. We ended up letting the gift recipient decide which gym before we would do anything. When I returned our experience was just not as pleasant. I was also informed that Isabella was no longer working there which to me seems like the person at the counter was just trying to steal the credit for her But you never know. Then I phoned later to ask for Isabella or Fernando (who last week was kind enough to answer the phones while Isabella was helping me and last week Isabella gave me his business card when I worked with her) well with my phone follow up I received no real help. The person who answered was unable to help me and said well if I had Fernando’s business card I could email him. It should not be this difficult to work with the original person that helped me. It’s no problem now. Last week it was my first choice out of Planet Fitness or EOS in the same area, this week it is no longer really a choice. Fortunately, it’s not my decision to make as it is the person who’s getting this as a gift. She went in with me today and it is the least option on her list. Fitness 1440 it’s your loss of any membership. I only give one star or five star reviews.

Fantastic gym. Membership costs run average for the area which are nice and low monthly. Staff are very friendly and the place itself is kept clean with plenty of higher quality equipment for all types of workout needs, including a good free weight section as well as deadlifting stations. Gym is open 24/7 with an app so you can get in at all times needed when they are not staffed. Gym itself tends to be very quiet so there's never a wait for equipment. Some classes are offered here so I recommend checking out the website or contacting for further information on training.

This is the best gym I’ve ever been a part of! The layout and atmosphere are perfect. Fernando the manager is awesome. Sadly I had to cancel my membership due to moving to a new city but hopefully I can find a new gym that’s half as good as this one.

I have had such a great experience at this gym so far! Ryan at the front (who I signed up with) is extremely thorough and makes sure every and all questions are answered about basically everything 😂. Impeccable customer service skills! Also , I have now attended a few classes that when time allots I will be returning to! They are so much fun and class sizes are not overbearing or intimidating. I love how they have the machines set up in zones so newbies like me don’t have to try to find machines but can just go down the line to get the full body workout. So glad I found this place !

The gym is newer with space and plenty of machines to use and isn't crowded which is why I chose it but.... they don't have hand sanitizer ever, or sanitizing spray for the machines- you would think that in the middle of a pandemic they would atleast make sure that is readily available. They use Windex as their sanitizing spray. The women's bathroom is filthy, 99% of the time they don't have toilet paper. Bathroom soap dispenser gives you a dab smaller than a dime They lack customeeer service, and if you ever ask their manager to call you back don't bother because he won't. They get a 0 for cleanliness and customer service.

Love this gym! The facility has plenty of space, and the layout of the gym was done really well. I especially love the variety of equipment here. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and I enjoy that everyone comes here to put their work in and that’s it. People don’t come here to be “seen”; they come here to work. I tried other gyms like Exos and didn’t enjoy the vibe. Fitness 1440 can’t be beat!

This gym is incredible. I’ve been a member here for 2 years and it has only gotten better since its opening. The gym is very clean, it has plenty of new and modern equipment, a large turf area, great aesthetics, friendly staff, and a diverse crowd of members. In short, it has everything. I worked with a couple trainers here and they were very helpful and effective. Management cares about the members, equipment, and cleanliness. If a machine breaks, it is quickly fixed. There is plenty of space and enough equipment for everyone. They offer various classes and have great membership rates. Of all the gyms I’ve gone to over the years, this one is my favorite. I highly recommend this gym!

I joined Fitness1440 due to how conveniently located it is to my new apartment. This location has such a comfortable atmosphere and ambiance. It’s is very clean, and the staff are personable, friendly, down to earth, yet extremely professional. I’m very impressed with the quality of the gym and all that it has to offer.

Very kind and helpful employees. This Joann is smaller than the one at Riverview, but I like it because it is not as busy and more peaceful. There is always someone available to help me. No customer service and unprofessional I want to go cancel my account and they said they were gonna charge me again so I asked why I did get loud but at the end of the story I did tell her just take out the charge and cancel my account this little girl unprofessionally told me know that I had a talk to the manager order to cancel my account if somebody tells you just take the money out and cancel it you should

I liked this gym at first, until I tried to cancel for a month straight & the manager won’t get back to me. Instead they charged me over $200 since. Still fighting to cancel with them, but unfortunately they don’t let their employees cancel, you have to wait for the manager who never is there! Wild. Don’t go here.

I've been trying to cancel my membership for months. There is never a manager there, and I'm told the manager is the only one who can cancel memberships. I've left the club voicemails directly, I've called and asked the front desk staff to have someone call me directly, etc. Save yourself a headache and get a membership somewhere else.

By far one of the best gyms I've been to, extremely clean and well maintained equipment. Great variety of machines and cardio equipment! Crossfit area with a platform, trx bands, pull-up bars, kettle bells, rowing machines, ropes, boxes, and resistance bands were an awesome surprise. The freeweight area has a huge selection of dumbbells up to 150lbs, multiple benches, rogue squat racks, a rogue platform, ez and straight barbells, and plenty of space! Would definitely recommend

I have been trying to cancel my membership for several months. I have emailed and called multiple times and left several messages with the staff to have the manager call me but nothing happens. When I moved out of town in July I drove by and no one was there for me to cancel my membership. I haven't been in this gym for well over a year. They just charged me 54 and 14 dollars. I have to report my debit card stolen to get these people to stop taking my money while I'm unemployed. Thanks!

It doesn't have a pool, and it doesn't (yet) have a sauna/steam room. But I'm perfectly fine without those!
