Gene is hands down one of the best coaches out there. Really takes pride in his work and gets the best out of his athletes. He meets you where you’re at and pushes you to be better. It’s a great community too. Come check it out! You won’t be disappointed. All fitness levels welcome.

I’ve been doing CrossFit-like workouts for almost 4 years now with Coach Gene. He is a great coach and mentor for any fitness activity.
He’s an Olympic weightlifter himself, and he coaches us all on how do the lifts properly. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to a big box gym and looked at the machines, or other gym members doing the work and was so lost. Coach Gene takes his time and guides you through the movement. There is no judgement or impatience. This gym is all about inclusion, health, wellness and FUN. There are scales to every workout for every person. If you just want to come in a lift, GTX has it. You want a personal training session, Coach Gene does it. You want a group of people to workout with? Come join the boot camp/HIIT/CrossFit-like group classes! (Those are my favorite ☺️)
Yoga was just added to the schedule. I did a class with instructor April and it was a great addition to my after workout mobility.
I highly recommend GTX.
I’ve worked out at some intimidating places, but Coach Gene and the GTX community make it fun and easy to get those gains.

Sometimes its hard! Life js hard, but then you have those marigolds that encourage and make you better! 🌻I feel very privileged to have the honor to know such amazing people! They are always there, never judge when life gets real, and are always so encouraging. GTX IS ALL OF THIS AND MORE!

I am a yogi but I started doing Crossfit with Mike in January and I haven't stopped! I go three times a week and do yoga 5 times a week and have never felt better. I suffer from depression and this mix is really helping me. I cant say enough about this place. So grateful to have found them.

Not of the typical "Crossfit" team/friendly environment. I attend a few local Crossfits in the valley and while in Tucson over the holiday, came here for a quick WOD. Unlike many of the Crossfits here in the valley, they wanted $15 for one session instead of providing a quick day-pass/one day trial as many other Crossfits would. We ended up leaving for another gym.
