Excellent no frills barbell gym. Just enough machinery for a complete workout if not feeling like throwing barbells that day. Assault bikes and battle rope definetly a great touch.

In town for work and was able to lift (without a membership) for less than $12. It’s not the nicest gym, and pretty small, but it’s solid. The app didn’t work very well so I called the owner and he let me in remotely. I’ll come back next time I’m in Flagstaff.

The Body-Solid brand equipment has weird weight stacks. I think 1 = 10 lbs, 2 = 20 lbs, 3 = 30 lbs. idk why they’re like that.

Loved this gym! I met the owner and he was super friendly and personable. This gym wasn't huge but maximizes the space they have. Great atmosphere and 24 hour access makes this gym great for travelers and locals.

Been a member since April 1st, and have had no complaints! The owner Chris is great, very responsive and will answer any questions or concerns you may have. The facility, in my opinion, is one of the best in Flagstaff. Not a club, but rather a weight gym for those wanting to get in great shape. All the equipment is like new; and once again the owner is very quick to fix any issues. There’s a day pass available for those that need a quick lift when in town, or new members can sign up for a discount. Other gym members are friendly and non-judgmental. Also, 24-hour access!! With my lifestyle, I never know what time I’ll be hitting the gym and don’t want to be constrained to the limited hours of others.

Gym owner has added new equipment in the week or so I've been working out here. Just needs a dip bar. No standing calf machine but I can just use the power rack while standing on plates; seated calf raise is best for calf growth. Any plans on a weight assisted dip/pull up machine?

This gym is nearly perfect in my opinion. I'm not into the big gyms with all the crowds and every type of workout possible. I just want to get in, lift weights and be done.

Heavy Metal is setup with everything you need for weight training (and a stretch room with a couple treadmills). The equipment is new and clean and the room is setup nicely to spread people out. I've been going for two months now and never had a problem with waiting for equipment to free up. The 24hr access is excellent since it stretches out the crowd and peak hours don't overcrowd it.

Loved training here, equipment practically brand new, extremely clean facility and had everything I needed. Not overly packed whatsoever like some of these other gyms, felt very comfortable and spacious. 24 hours and key fob to enter the building with my iphone, no brainer. Glad I found this place, highly recommend.

Me and my boyfriend had a tour today, loved the facility so we signed up. Had an amazing workout. The equipment is quality, the place very sanitary and the environment is definitely a place you want to be to get you a good workout in. Stop second guessing sign up asap! To add the owner is amazing. He’s a flagstaff local. Go support! Definitely our permanent home gym!
