I started about 8 months ago and now go almost 5 days a week. I can go anytime and even jump in on a class mid session. With my busy schedule and kids it’s perfect. They change the videos all the time. Clean and safe. Best workouts I have had in years! I tell everyone to join!

Finally getting around to backlogging reviews !
My first experience here was wonderful. I happened to pop in when Owner was working, we chatted it up , looked at swag , I took a cycle class & then we both were able to head Nextdoor for vitamin b-12 shots . How convenient! Hot infrared cycle is one of my favorite classes at hotworx !

Hotworx has genuinely changed my life. I’ve never fully clicked with a specific exercise method before. As hard as I’ve tried, even working in the industry, I always felt like I had to force myself to workout, just an absolute chore. This way is so fun it’s addictive. Hotworx provides variety, convenience, and privacy for those like myself who find the social aspect of the traditional gyms draining. You feel different when you leave. It’s absolutely worth the cost for what you get compared to other boutique style fitness. You can tailor your workout to how you feel that day with different classes and combos. I love it so much. My cortisol is lowered and I’m absolutely reaching my fitness goals.

Manager Meghan gave me the impression she didn’t care to help me. Poor customer treatment. I did not demand. Meghan ignored me. Which is why I had to contact corporate and my bank. I also only have one phone number. So that’s a flat out lie.

This gym is the worst gym I have ever attended it’s just like working out from your home tv. When I signed up they said I had to commit for 3 months which is 90 days. I canceled at 3 moths and they charged me 3 more months it’s a very difficult to cancel cause they never answer and they give you the run Around. I do not recommend this gym to anyone

Absolutely love!! Hotworx makes it so much more fun to workout and i’m excited to come! I especially love doing barre none, thunder, and blast workouts! The 90 day challenge is a great motivation and a great idea to get people motivated to workout. Hotworx has definitely changed the game for my workouts.

I recently just signed up and I’m loving the Sauna workouts!! I’ll never go back to the regular gym I have already seen so much improvement aswell as so much more motivation to attend the gym. I love the flexibility of being at a 24 hour gym it helps with my long days to still have time to workout with feeling rushed from business hours aswell as the kind workers at this location. I Overall I would recommend trying this hotworx I love it!

The guest pass feels like a missed opportunity and doesn’t offer much value, especially given the limited staffed hours at your facilities. It’s incredibly inconvenient to bring guests, as access is restricted to times that rarely align with early mornings or later in the day—when many people are most likely to work out.
It’s hard to justify recommending an expensive membership when I can’t even share the experience with guests at times that work for us. If I had to choose between gym memberships, I would consider cancelling HOTWORX due to how limiting and frustrating the guest pass system is.
I’d strongly suggest reevaluating this policy—either by extending staffed hours or finding a secure way to allow guest access during unstaffed times. Right now, it’s marketed as a perk, but in practice, it’s difficult to use and ultimately disappointing.

I had read about the benefits of infrared saunas so I figured I would sign up for a free workout and give it a shot. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. They directed me to try the hot stretch instead of a more rigorous workout. It is the beginner level but it was INTENSE!!! I burned more calories in 35 minutes of 130 degree hot stretch than in an hour plus of weightlifting or traditional cardio. Easily one of the best workouts I’ve ever had. Signing up for a membership was quick and easy and they helped me set up my next workout. 6 out of 5 stars.

I love HOTWORX Williams Centre because it’s one of the bigger studios that I have been to. HOTWORX has been an important addition in my fitness journey because of the infrared heat that helps target my muscles to help me recovery faster from weightlifting. I love to get a release in Hot Cycle and then move into Hot Stretch to really get my recovery expedited!

I started at Hotworx a little over a year ago go and I love it! It’s the only gym where I been motivated to come work out I can schedule classes anytime of the day and don’t have to worry about coming before a closing time. I love that they have virtual coaches it just makes my health journey that much easier because they motivate you throughout. My favorite work out has to been the hot Pilates and the hot blast! 10/10 recommend

Let me preface this by saying I would be the
poster child for NOT working out, but I have really been enjoying HOTWORX and it has really helped me become consistent in my workout journey. I love that the studio is 24 hr because being a small business owner and mom it can sometimes be hard to find a good time to go. At first I was hesitant to join because the teachers are virtual, and I worried that I would have bad form, but the teachers always help give pointers and remind you to constantly check yourself to make sure you get the most out of your session. I also love the fact that it’s very low stress but the app has trackers and rewards to help motivate you (I definitely needed that) and a great selection of classes. I’d recommend the barre none class, thunder, and Pilates!!! I had a few miscommunications when signing up, but the staff was able to sort everything out and I have had nothing but good experiences since. This location is definitely one of my favorites

I’ve been coming to HOTWORX for months now and I can’t say enough good things. Everyone needs experience working out in the infrared saunas. Sign up for a free session, promise you won’t go back to a regular gym. The app is easy to use and booking is a breeze. They are open 24/7! There are so many classes to choose from my favorites are Hot ISO, Hot Buns, Hot Barre and Hot Cylce.

I’m a founding member of this location, and most of my complaints are really with the corporation, not this specific franchise. Hotworx as a corporation is a snake oil extravaganza that goes whole hog on garbage pseudoscience, and while the instructors are qualified fitness professionals, they are choked by the meathead CEO and forced to teach low quality workouts that essentially never change. Even when the video itself changes, the actual workout being taught has only changed by at most two exercises. That sucks and it makes following the workouts deeply frustrating when you can witness how little they change over literal YEARS.
Here’s the tea: do you have kidneys and a liver? Then cool; you’re already detoxing all the time. The sauna is not doing anything for you in that regard; you’re not leaking heavy metals out of your pores, okay? You are also not eliminating cellulite or burning extra calories just because it’s hot. They will tell you these things to get you to join but they’re fake. That’s not how any of this works scientifically.
I go to the sauna regularly because it has reduced my fibromyalgia pain CONSIDERABLY, like to almost 0, and that is such a perk that that alone is worth the monthly price. There’s also promising but not settled research about sauna use and blood pressure reduction and sauna use and blood oxygenation, which sounds great because I have hypertension. Unfortunately pain relief and avoiding a stroke is not as sexy as detox, so those perks are in tinier print. But they are cool and worthwhile!
So the way I use Hotworx is as a 24-hour gym less than ten minutes from my home, and for that I love it. The FX zone is sufficiently equipped for me to do weight lifting workouts, and I use the hot blast as a warmup. I also LOVE the new(ish) Hot Stretch class and often do that after an hour of lifting. The iso saunas I otherwise use either to just sit and enjoy the heat while listening to an audiobook or while streaming an actual decent workout from other fitness companies I have a membership with. Technically that sucks because it speaks to terrible offerings from the corporation (remember, this is a franchise-based business, so this location is at the mercy of the corporation), but again, to me personally, the benefit I do receive (convenient location, 24-hour access, well equipped, good price, no more chronic pain) outweighs that.
Anyway, every staff member I’ve interacted with has been lovely and friendly and helpful. The facility is kept clean and stocked with soap, wipes, etc. I would say responsiveness during unstaffed hours is not as good as it could be, but that’s really my only complaint related to this specific location and not Hotworx corporate. Well, that and sometimes the music is INSANELY loud and since it’s so often unstaffed, there’s nothing you can do about it.
The TL;dr of it all is if you are willing to put up with the obnoxious commercials, extremely cringe CEO who makes himself way too prominent in the interstitial commercials between workouts, and pseudoscience sales tactics, I actually think this place is great. I often feel like I have a private gym!

I recently signed up for hotworx I loved the concept and enjoyed my free class. It is something I was planning on doing for just a little bit to mix up my workouts. I knew for me it wouldn’t be long term since it’s only something I would mix in 1-2 times a week with my other workouts. I was super excited to start and told a bunch of people I recommend it. It is pretty pricy with the sign up fee and required mat and towel. I didn’t mind though because I felt excited to add something new for a little. During the signing of the contract I asked if there’s a cancellation fee and I was informed no which was big for me since I was only planning on doing it short term (the three month minimum). I feel that question was a perfect opportunity to explain there is if you don’t do a five month commitment but I was just informed there is not. So I was very upset when I went in after my first month to give my 60 day notice to be informed its 3 months and then a 60 day notice. I truly did not understand that and feel I was not informed of that. I wouldn’t have signed up for a 5 month commitment. I understand I signed the contract but I feel like I wasnt fully informed. I would hope the goal is not to confuse your clients into something. I asked if there’s anyway they could waive the fee since I was unaware. I was told no because it’s in the contract I signed. I felt so upset because I spent a lot of money to sign up and it just felt a little scammy. I decided to just part ways and pay the $99 cancelation fee because I didn’t want to continue going there after that. I didn’t even finish the three months as I had planned to do which was upsetting.
-They will not issue a refund for my cancelation fee so I paid hundreds of dollars for one month🙃 so be cautious it’s a commitment you want to do for 5 months because they don’t work with you.

I needed to cancel my membership and was told that I can’t cancel over the phone. I’ve been to the studio three times to cancel during “staffed” hours and there is no one here to help me. I spoke with the manager about this, and she told me that there was a turnover of staff and that I would need to text before coming to make sure they were staffed. I came to the studio twice today because, again, no one was here this morning to help me out. The gal working the desk decided to do a 20 minute tour prior to cancelling my membership even though I walked in at the same exact time as the other guests. Time management and respect for the client is lacking. Experience here is 0/10.

The music is absolutely terrible. Redundant and EXTREMELY loud. If I want to focus and hear the instructor I have to turn the volume up way too high and end completely unenjoyable. If you want to wear air pods, you can’t hear the instructors. Went to cancel my membership and was informed of a cancellation fee or 2 month remaining commitment (the manager who signed me up and explained nothing was apparently fired) I asked about cancellation at the time of sign up and all she had to say was that they ask for a 2-3 month initial commitment to see results. Still no response from the owner. Thanks!

I signed up for Hotworx because I wanted to supplement my hot yoga regimen. I still love my yoga studio, but class times (and overall time commitment) make it difficult with my schedule.
It became so much more than that! The variety of workouts they offer are fantastic and I can get a little strength training in there after or before the sessions as well.
The facilities are always clean, the staff are amazing, and the best part is that something always fits my schedule. 10/10

This gym is the absolute most frustrating experience ever!! If I could give no stars I would.
I joined because my friend recommended me and I was interested in learning about Pilates. I was able to schedule a tour and it went great. However, when it was time to sign up I ended up doing it over the phone. I was not given any rundown by Kimberly, the general manager, about the cancellation terms or any of the terms and conditions. I gave her my card over the phone and she signed for everything over the phone for me. I made sure to ask if there was a cancellation fee or any caveat, and she said no because I know that’s how they get you. So when I try to cancel in March, there conveniently is a two month membership fee, and no one ever there and I go at different times during the day. At this point I’m going three or four times a week a different times a day for three weeks. I left multiple voicemails at both this location and the Marana location and no one could be bothered to give me a call back. Finally the Marana location called me and left a voicemail and even texted me saying that I had to cancel in person at my Williams center location. So I call Williams center back again and again no one ever calls me back. I go back again and no one is there. So at this point I’ve been trying to cancel for a month and I get charged again. This is the most frustrating experience ever and I really don’t know what else to do but I am still getting charged and still dealing with this and it’s been months. No one will help me cancel and when I try to dispute it with my bank they come back and say that I agreed to the terms and conditions. Well, I never actually did. Kim signed those terms and conditions over the phone and conveniently left that out. Not only that, but you are not agreeing to your own terms and conditions, as you will not, let me cancel. This has been the most frustrating and irritating customer service experience I have ever dealt with and quite literally is a scam.

My husband and I went to this gym for 6 months .
Everything was great when we signed up. Within the first 2 months, equipment items were broken and did not get repaired during our time there. It's not crowded but still challenging to be able to go to some classes due to the broken equipment.
The owner and most of the staff is awesome.
The manager, Kim .....needs some training. She did not take feedback in person well. She was rude and came into my workout room and yelled at me. She tried to intimidate me every time I came in after that. She also lied a few times about things that were cleared up by other staff. As a manager of a fortune 5, her behavior is unacceptable.
The bathrooms smell like sewage covered with artificial fragrance. 🤢
It's a great concept for a gym, but service is #1!!!

If you're reading this, and you still feel like you're on the fence about giving HOTWORX a try, let me remind you that the first workout is FREE! I joined the same day BTW - seeing (and sweating) was believing. HOTWORX has a friendly staff overall, and I've had a great experience as a HOTWORX member, but I have to shout out one person in particular: Kimberly. She is the BEST!
