Been going here for awhile now. There is always some one cleaning. Rarely crowded. Never have any issues using equipment. Weights always seen to be reracked and not just laying around. Only issue as of late, it has been wreaking of weed, I am not against that, but don't want to smell it when I am working out, or currently in the sauna as I am writing this.

I’m new to the area, been going to several LA fitness’s in the Phoniex area. This one is the closest to my place. It’s well kept, hardly ever busy. Nice world class staff. I’ve been training for 14 years. I highly recommend this gym.

Been going for a number of years. Honestly, I can't complain. It's a smaller gym, so there's no swimming pool but there's everything you need for a good run, weight lifting, and physical activities. Some equipment is a bit old and it's not always well organized (not put away). It seems like there was a child-care section but it has been shut down or something. I feel like this gym does its best to maintain a good appearance. I like going to this gym a lot.

Straight up gym. Nothing fancy. Has good variety of equipment and they are always well maintained! I had memberships to Mountainside, EOS and here. Cancelled the other two. Mountainside has limited equipment and poorly maintained. EOS is overcrowded and not enough of the equipment you need. I have had nothing but positive gains here and am happy I chose this place over the other two!

my experience at this gym was ok. my only complaint was the weight lifting area. it wrecked of dirty socks and urine. I noticed this mainly due to the fact that they don't have many sanitizing stations close by.

I took a friend in to buy a day pass so they could work out with me since they were out of town. When we got in we asked to purchase one, completely okay with the $20 fee for one day use. The gentleman we were talking to had a white durag on. When we told him we would just like to purchase a pass and did not want to hear his pitch to sign up which he started, he got very confrontational. He was rude and demeaning to my guest and held us up despite us continuing to let him know we just wanted to work out and my buddy to get a pass for the day. This is pushy and very frictional sales tactic used by this worker who started to get rude when we did not want to purchase another membership for an out of town guest. I had to ask to work with another worker multiple times because he would not help me cancel my membership after this interaction. He kept getting defensive and prolonging our process. I'll be happier elsewhere with people trained in customer service.

Visited this location to possibly open a membership & some woman with glasses was on the phone & she looked at me & said hold on understandably then i noticed the restrooms & proceeded to walk to them while i signal to the associate she then stopped me halfways & asked do you work here & I mentioned i would use the restrooms & she denied me access stating i needed a membership.. while looking at me with an ugly mean mug face as if i committed a crime. 4/29 morning 7:30am extremely rude & uncourteous

Left a review FIVE years ago- same rating applies. The Operations Manager/Club Manager at this location could use for some training on what it means to be a Club/Operations manager.

For starters- the gym closes night, with roughly 8 hours or more of no one in the gym. You’d think it makes sense to hire a janitor during these hours to have the gym cleaned and sanitized before opening the next morning-NOPE. This gym on COUNTLESS times has been D I S G U S T I N G.

Next, the janitors start off by cleaning floors; meanwhile, the sanitation stations are empty. This gym discontinued paper towels and solution spray- why? I have no idea. I’m sure these sanitation stations cost more to stock than paper towels and solution spray ever will.

Last, the personal trainers- if you can even call them that. Always, I mean ALWAYS on their phones. No engagement with members and are literally OVERWEIGHT. Last week I saw one of the “trainers” devour a big breakfast from McDonald’s. How can you be in charge of helping people get in the best shape of their life when the trainers literally destroy theirs in public view.

Last I checked, I was a member of a LA Fitness brand and not Planet Fitness.

The gym itself is always busy. It's a small gym, and you have to accept that and I get it, that's fine. The staff here are completely terrible and continue to be terrible. Back in 2022 I signed up for this gym and had my signature illegally used by one of their employees. I ended getting robbed for $600 and this company refused to compensate me at all and blamed me for it. The worst part was that, the day I got charged the employee who worked there quit and moved states. They could no longer contact him, and it was so sketchy. Turns out he went to another Esporta a month later and they let him work there like nothing happened. The whole case lasted months and it completely ruined the perception I have of gyms. They lied to me multiple times to take my money. How I got out of the situation was contacting another Esporta that stopped my contract and stopped any other charges that would've illegally happened. This specific Esporta is scammy, please stay away.

Other Esportas are typically normal and I trust them but this Esporta is terrible and extremely scummy. They illegally signed documents using my signature and it ruined my life for a few months. Money isn't easy and for them to do this more than once is completely disgusting.

If you want to workout at Esporta, go to another location. Do not trust this location.

I’ve been going to this gym for 10yrs. I have seen it decline in the last year or so.
Most of the front desk workers, are friendly but they can’t seem to keep people.
Also the gym is dirty, I haven’t seen anyone here cleaning. The weights are all over the place because people don’t rack their weights.
If you want to clean the machines before using it you’re lucky if there’s any cleaning wipes. You might as well bring your own cleaning supplies.
The sauna is never on, so forget even using it.
And today there was drugs left behind by someone.
I honestly don’t recommend anyone to workout here. If you can spend your money at a better well kept gym.

This club is a joke. I have been trying for three weeks to cancel my membership because I no longer need a gym. I’ve called several times and told you have to do it in person Monday Thru Friday 8 to 5 pm. Well I work till 5 and can’t make it there, So the manager I spoke to told me to email cooperate explaining why and number , I did this a week ago and called today to follow up and my account is still active, meanwhile my 30 dollar monthly fee just came out and I already paid my 50 something yearly fee and now been told I can’t go thru cooperate email because I owe 25 dollars for cancellation fee. So now I’m told I need to mail in my closure. What a waste of my time. All I wanna do is cancel my membership and they just won’t let you go easily. Beware of the loops you gotta jump thru!

Great gym, very clean and well organized. It's never too crowded but even at the busy times there is a lot of courteous and respectful members here. The only real negative feedback for this gym is that there's no weight racks for the plates. They're all on random machines and stacked in unorganized ways. You end up having to walk back and forth between different equipment just to add plates to what you're working with. There needs to be weight racks for the plates. The staff is friendly and there's a great variety of machines for everything you'd need to get a good workout.

Formerly known as LA Fitness, this is a great gym as they have everyachine you would need to target pretty much every muscle in the body. One downside is that it can get very busy at times, which results in having to wait for machines at times. However, busy means a lot of people, and a lot of people can't all be wrong about this place. Oh, no basketball court at this one either, bummer.

El día de ayer 25 de marzo en el club de Peoria Arizona aproximadamente a la 1 de la tarde tuve una experiencia terrible con la manager de la tienda, soy miembro de su compañía por varios años, por lo tanto mi tag se volvió viejo y se rompió, cada que vengo al club me registran con mi número de teléfono, el día 24 vine y la manager me registró con el teléfono, pero de manera muy poco amable me dijo que tenía que traer un tag o bajar la aplicación, le dije que me diera un tag y me dijo que ya no daban, el día 25 vengo al club con mi esposa y me dice que necesita mi ID o el código de barras, le digo que no tengo mi ID conmigo y no tengo tag, me dice que le traiga un tag del frys y me pone encima el de ustedes( qué profesional) la señorita ya me está gritando, al final me deja entrar después de no una amable conversación, mi esposa y yo nos vamos a entrenar, de pronto la señorita viene hacia mi con un papel en la mano, ERA MI CONTRATO!!! Yo le digo que por favor me deje entrenar que cuando termine hablamos ella sigue insistiendo que ahí tiene el contrato y que lo lea, yo le digo que yo estoy alterado que por favor se retire y ya que termine hablamos , luego trata de hablar con mi esposa y mi esposa le dice que por favor nos deje entrenar, la manager con pésima actitud deja MI CONTRATO EN EL PISO, yo le dije que se lo llevara que YO NO SE LO PEDÍ que tenía información personal y que yo no lo levantaría del piso, ella lo dejo ahí y se fue, le dije que llamaría al corporativo y me dijo háblale a ver qué pasa, ayer llame y efectivamente no pasó nada, aquí me surgen tres preguntas. Si yo fuera blanco me hubiera tratado de esa manera tan humillante y despota? Si alguien toma mi información del contrato y me hace fraude ustedes se harían responsables? Y la más importante, sus manager pueden tratar como basura a sus clientes y ustedes no hacer nada? Ni una disculpa?muchas gracias!

Absolutely do not get a membership here. I did the pre-paid plan because a staff member specifically told me I could cancel and get a refund anytime. The LA Fitness I went to closed down, and all other locations are out of my way. When I contacted corporate to cancel, they completely disregarded my reasons and refused to give me a refund for the year I still have left. LA Fitness does not care about the situations of the members, even when they were the ones to close down my club. I will never join LA again. Definitely choose a different gym that actually cares about the members more than money.

The worst LA Fitness you will ever see facility-wise. Want to play basketball? Sorry, go somewhere else. There is no basketball court. Want to swim? Sorry, go somewhere else. There is no pool. Want to play racquetball? Sorry, go somewhere else. There are no courts. Want to take a spin class? Sorry, go somewhere else. There are no group fitness bikes. Want to take an aerobics class? Sure, four or five times a week they have a class. Plan accordingly. PS: If it rains and you want an aerobics class, go somewhere else. The roof leaked in January or February of this year and as of May it is still "under renovation". The desk staffers are friendly. The gym is clean. The latest equipment additions are a 1990s hand grip platform and an ancient bar rack. The rest of the equipment is newer than those, but not by much. It is apparent that the corporate level of LA Fitness doesn't care about this location. Like I said, go somewhere else.
