I have had the pleasure and privilege of knowing and training with Ted for over 20 yrs. You will not find a more detailed oriented and passionate instructor. If you train in BJJ long enough you will realize that instructors are generally either good teachers or good practitioners, rarely they are both. I took Ted’s class because I wanted to get into a physical activity that I would learn something from. I never expected to have as much fun as I did, or learn as quickly as I did. When I joined I was in a class with people from all different skill levels and Ted did such an amazing job at teaching us things that everyone benefited from regardless of how far along they were. This class is unlike any other. The kids learn technique, yes, but so much more like self control, self-defense, patience, balance and breathing. My 3 kids never want to miss class. They wonder what skill they miss when we do have to miss class and they love telling us about what they learned each time they go. We are so lucky to have Coach Ted!

Highest quality instruction available! This is a fun, safe learning environment for self defense, martial arts and Jiu-Jitsu. Its in the Cottonwood Rec Center so youll have access to the weight room, swimming pool, hot tub, rock climbing, basketball and other family activities, suffice to say the facility is as good as it gets for training. Im so grateful i found this place! Ted the instructor is an IBJJF certified first degree black belt.
