The owner actually cares about your goals ! The trainers are very well informed and knowledgeable about their training practices. The facility is super clean . I’ve gone to another “all women’s gym “ before and nothing compares to Liv for lifting! Shoutout to all of L4L team!!

I’ve been going to Liv for Lifting for about a month now and the experience has been PHENOMENAL. The first coach I had class with was Sahra and she helped me feel so welcome and get settled into the gym. The small class sizes really allow you to get that one on one experience to set you up for success and feel confident with your form. The amount of support you get outside of the gym is amazing too, with lots of nutrition guidance, accountability and some healthy competition to stay on top of your daily goals. I’m already experiencing huge gains in strength, and learning so much about how to fuel for my workouts and be my healthiest self. Highly recommend Liv for Lifting!!

Liv for lifting is a fantastic all women’s gym. I was looking for a small private gym that’s affordable and a place I would feel comfortable to lift in. This is absolutely the place I was looking for. Liv, her husband, and all the coaches are fantastic. They truly care about form and creating a welcoming environment. I joined the gym and let them know I’ve had previous lower back issues from lifting in the past and everyone has taken that very seriously and has helped me with form/modifications while doing the workouts. Their membership plan is also super affordable compared to others around the valley. I’ve worked so far with Sahra, Dana, Liv, and Meghan and I’ve loved training with them so far. I highly recommend joining if you are considering it!

I love this gym! They are all so amazing and helpful. Destiny has been an extremely caring coach and really pushes you to do your best. She has taught me so much and continues to help me in my fitness journey. The atmosphere and whole experience is perfect, as a young female I recommend any ladies to go here because it is just a way better environment then regular gyms.

Liv for Lifting is an absolute gem!
This women’s-only gym is everything you could ask for — empowering, clean, and beautifully designed. I stopped by and had such an amazing experience! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which makes it perfect for all stages of your fitness journey.
The space itself is stunning — super aesthetic, spotless, and filled with a great variety of equipment from machines to dumbbells. They also go beyond the typical gym experience by offering group weightlifting classes, nutritional coaching, and even fun special events like Pilates and other themed workouts.
What really stands out is the community vibe — you walk in motivated and leave feeling stronger, more confident, and truly like the best version of yourself.
Highly recommend Liv for Lifting to any girlies looking for a supportive, uplifting, and inspiring place to train!

As a complete beginner to lifting (and working out in general), Destiny was so helpful in making me feel comfortable in the workouts we did. She answered every question I had and helped make sure my form was correct. Plus, I loved the women’s only aspect and non judgmental atmosphere. Exceptionally inexperienced trainers. I haven’t been lifting for long but my experience exceeds that of most of the trainers in this gym. I know because they’ve told me as much. Very poorly equipped. I think this gym and their trainers will only be impressive to you if you’re brand new and don’t know any better. Do not recommend.

I’ve been taking classes at Liv for Lifting for a couple of months and definitely recommend to anyone seasoned or new to lifting to check it out. I really enjoy the small class sizes (max 6 per class) and the coaches are fantastic, motivating, and really push you to do your best week after week. I had not lifted weights regularly in many years so it was a bit intimidating to think about starting up again but Liv for Lifting has created a perfect atmosphere for women of all ages and fitness levels to thrive and grow, whatever their goals and fitness journeys may be. Another bonus is they help with nutrition guidance and creating and maintaining habits that fit your lifestyle and goals.

I initially went to Liv For Lifting to try out an introductory class! It was such a welcoming environment and I got in a great workout! as a physical therapist I always encourage women to lift weights as a way to move their best and to promote a long and healthy life! LOVE this gym!! It’s basically personal training but way less pressure because it’s a small group class. The trainers also know so much & can make sure form is 10/10 so you actually get results from the workout. Love working out alongside other badass women ❤️🔥

I’m so glad I found Liv for Lifting. Their program is amazing; small class sizes, bi-weekly check-ins, and an app to track training progress as well as track macros. It’s a great community of strong women lifting each other up and encouraging one another. They offer monthly get togethers to build community as well as weekly zoom calls about nutrition and health. If you’re a woman who is hesitant to get started on your fitness journey, Liv for Lifting is a great place to start.

I have been going here for a few weeks and I love it. I’ve done classes with Jessica, Olivia, and Taylor and they’re all so great! I love that it’s a women’s only gym with women of all ages and skill levels. I really like the app they use to track workouts, it’s super easy to track during the session and so helpful to see where you left off with your weights last time! It seems like they really care about you reaching your goals with ongoing education and support.

It’s WILD how someone can speak so confidently about a studio and its programs without ever stepping inside, taking a class, or experiencing firsthand the environment that has been carefully built. Even more concerning is that the ONLY 1 star review was posted under a fake name, which makes it clear that the person wasn’t interested in honesty, trust wanted to make baseless claims without any transparency. Judging a program, its trainers, and its owners from social media alone or based on brief glimpses is not only unfair but completely misleading. Real understanding comes from participating, observing, and engaging with the trainers and the community, none of which this person has done.
This studio is doing something exceptional. The program is thoughtfully designed to challenge and empower women safely and effectively, with modifications and coaching techniques that prioritize both results and injury prevention. The trainers are highly experienced who bring knowledge, dedication, and passion to every session. They don’t just demonstrate exercises, they educate, correct form safely, and support members through every step of their fitness journey. The owners have created a space that goes far beyond a gym: it’s a community where women feel encouraged, empowered, and inspired to reach their personal best.
It’s disheartening when someone dismisses all of this, choosing instead to make assumptions and spread misinformation under the veil of anonymity. What they perceive as “errors” are often intentional coaching decisions, modifications for safety, or adaptations designed to meet individual needs. Choosing to block or avoid engagement rather than entertain baseless and absurd claims was absolutely the right decision
Liv for Lifting continues to thrive because of the commitment, professionalism, and care of its trainers and owners, as well as the incredible results of the women who train there. Anyone with real experience can see the difference between uninformed critique and true expertise and it’s clear that this person’s perspective, posted under a fake name, is entirely disconnected from the reality of what makes this gym extraordinary. This studio is truly one of a kind. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming, empowering, and motivating environment. The space is more than a gym, it’s a community where women feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to reach their personal best.

Blown away by the absolute unprofessionalism here. I was looking for a women’s only gym to train out of, although I do have a lot of experience in the gym as my husband is an established trainer here in Scottsdale. I noticed some weird things in some of the media when I went to look into the gym. Extremely inexperienced trainers and owners with a terrifying case of hubris. It’s wild to get blocked for asking a simple question about the form being displayed on their public social media. I noticed a very inexperienced trainer who doesn’t even know which exercise she’s performing, so I asked about it. I was given an explanation that was basically, “we don’t have the necessary equipment and this is good enough so we’re gonna say it’s an exercise that it isn’t and she looks good doing it so shut it!” Then I watched the same inexperienced trainer demonstrate a different high risk movement (a deadlift) with the exact error in form that blows peoples low backs out… this is gonna be a fat NO for me. I’m sure Liv will have an excuse for this too and I’d love to hear it but as cowards do it’s easier to shut down conversation than to address the actual issue. Those with actual experience in the gym will know exactly what I’m talking about, but it’s troubling to see the level of inexperience and arrogance from the owner and from those she’s hired to care for and guide unsuspecting women looking for help. If you’re so confident in what you’re doing you should be able to explain WHY rather than BLOCKING. This should tell you a lot about how these people handle conflict and how they will likely deal with YOU not if but WHEN someone inevitably gets hurt in this joke of a gym. How about hiring EXPERIENCED trainers, not just any old girl with a fresh cert and a bunch of obviously bought follows and likes? Anyone can swipe a credit card, that’s not experience or credibility. That’s exactly what you’ll find at this “gym”…inexperience and arrogance.

I have been lifting at Liv since the end of July. I am getting stronger with every work out! With small group training I have the opportunity to have my form checked as well as have someone push me to go heavier when I think I can’t. Seeing the same ladies during class is fun and motivating!

Joining this Liv for Lifting has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and confidence in the gym. From day one, I felt SO welcomed and supported by all the coaches and the other women in the classes. The energy is so positive. Every session feels like a boost, not just physically but mentally too.
One thing I really liked about joining was the individualized nutrition guidance. They really take the time to understand your lifestyle and goals, and help you plan for meals that are ACTUALLY going to keep you full and build muscle. I’ve seen real changes, and more importantly, I feel stronger and healthier.
All the coaches I’ve worked with have been amazing. They’re not just teaching you a workout, they’re genuinely encouraging and invested in your progress. They cheer you on during tough sets & even celebrate your small wins. I leave every workout feeling empowered, capable, and proud of what my body can do.
Highly recommend to any woman looking for a supportive, empowering space to get stronger (both physically + mentally)!!

I LOVED my workout this morning with LivForLifting they offer different circuits for every day of the week and I took a full body morning session! Everyone was so sweet and my trainer did an amazing job at correcting my form and providing us modifications. I have never been coached before in weightlifting and it was definitely a good experience coming from only working out by myself at a commercial gym. Would definitely recommend for any women trying to get into weightlifting.

This is my new favorite place! I love that I can get a gym workout but in a woman's only place where I feel comfortable. I also like that there are dedicated days, like upper body, lower body, full body, etc so I know exactly what to expect and I can plan accordingly. I am not a gym person for the sole reason that I’ve had weird experiences with men in them. This gym is an answered dream! A cute, comfortable environment, amazing and knowledgeable trainers and in a safe space! I tried a free class first as a complete beginner, then bought the special package from July and now going to become an official monthly member. It’s been so great to have an outlet like this. It’s really inspired me that I can do hard things! So grateful for Liv, Leah, Meghan and all of the rest of the amazing trainers and ladies who make this place so special!

Really enjoyed my first class here. The warmup and workout were comprehensive and it’s easy to see how it can be made harder or easier depending on your level. I also love the small group format — I got plenty of support and form tips from the instructor that helped make the most of the routine. It’s also awesome that they focus on progressive overload with 6-week programs so you can easily track your progress. Looking forward to future classes here and would definitely recommend for women of all levels.

Omg!!! Liv for lifting is an ALL WOMENS GYM!!! And I am completely obsessed… this is such a comforting safe zone, the coaches are so patient, motivating & understanding. The classes are intimate helping the coaches provide attention and help to anyone who needs it during a work out: I feel comfortable asking any questions and this place is so clean, cute and cozy!! There’s a motivational-manifesting chalk wall which really just ties Liv lifting together. I love this gym and can’t wait to spread the word more❤️❤️❤️

I went to my first training class this morning and I’m already obsessed. The space, the vibe, the people, it all felt so welcoming and energizing.
