About the Club

Mama Barre offers group and private barre classes. You are welcome to attend with or without your baby.
Each class is a full body workout focusing on low impact, high repetition, small and controlled movements. Each class will improve strength, flexibility and posture. You will build a stronger core and tone muscles throughout your entire body.

This workout program has been such a great experience! I just completed my first 6-week series of Mama Barre, and I signed up for the next series as well. Nicole is a great instructor. She’s friendly and professional and makes class so much fun.

It’s a great workout! I hadn't worked out in over a year, and I am able to keep up in class! The workout is easy enough for beginners to participate, but it is challenging and leaves you feeling sore and accomplished afterward! I feel myself getting stronger and I love it. Nicole is great at adapting the exercises for all levels of fitness. She shows us how small changes can make things either easier or more challenging, depending on your fitness level.

Along with the workout aspect, I love the community! I’m a stay at home mom to my first baby, and I was getting a little stir crazy being at home all day. This class is a great opportunity to get out of the house together each week, and I don’t need to worry about childcare because my baby is welcome! It’s so nice to be surrounded by women in similar scenarios, and it’s great that my baby can be around other kids his age and get an early start on socializing. It is so cute to see the kids interacting in class! And in just 6 shorts weeks, I have already made new friends to talk with throughout the day and go on playdates with.

I will definitely continue to sign up for each series as long as I’m able to!

Having never attended a workout class before, I was very nervous for my first MamaBarre class. But, all I had to do was walk in to realize what a welcoming environment Nicole has created. I love the work outs and miss the class on days we don’t go. Even more-so, I love the community. Working out with a room of judgement free moms who are all just so happy to be there while our babies climb all over us is the best. Best decision. I loved Barre before i got pregnant and took classes all through my pregnancy but don’t have any one to watch my son! This is the perfect solution. I think more of these classes should exist! It’s a great way to work out take care of yourself while also gaining a community of powerful women who are too in the same season of life as you. I first tried MamaBarre as a drop in for one of the Monday/Wednesday series and it kicked my butt! But the class was fun and Nicole was so encouraging that when I saw she was offering a weekend series, I signed up right away! I have felt myself getting stronger physically with every class, yet each class is still just as challenging. The series has also motivated me to get back to working out outside of MamaBarre! It’s a huge plus to be able to take my son to class with me and meet other moms and babies! I would 100% recommend this class for any moms who want to get back to working out, but don’t know where to start!

Update 2024: After having a second baby, I started taking classes, and it’s been even better! There are now more options in class times, days of the week, locations, and even type of workouts. I strongly recommend Mama Barre for any moms that want to exercise and/or meet other moms, but don’t know where to start!

It’s crazy how it’s all high reviews and that’s what gave me such hope and excitement for this class. I took this class at a festival and I’m sure it wasn’t the instructor/owners normal place but she was kind of acting stuck up like she didn’t want to hear our introductions or kept having an irritated attitude as class was going to end. It was really odd and was so disappointed by the time I left. I really wanted to join mama barre class.

I found out about Mama Barre through an Instagram post and thought “that looks so cute!” I signed up for a pop up class when my babygirl was 4 months and loved it! My babygirl and I are now on our last week of a summer series and want to do more! Nicole leads the class with easy to follow directions and takes into consideration each postpartum mamas needs and allows for modifications when needed. I love how sweet she is and how she even put all the mommies in a group chat from day 1 so we can get to know each other even outside of class. My babygirl Camila (6m) loves seeing the other babies in class and when I need to tend to her I know I can at anytime. Best class ever! My daughter and I have been taking these classes now for 5 months. As a first time mom bringing your baby to a gym class sounds scary! I was scared! I can’t recommend Mama Barre enough!!! I came across Mama Barre on Instagram during my pregnancy and I was so excited when I was finally able to sign up. I was a little hesitant to jump into a 6-week program so quickly after giving birth (especially because I’m also new to barre), but the class has been exactly what me and my body needs. Nicole helps us make modifications to support postpartum recovery and keeps the class challenging but fun.

After having him, I was struggling with incorporating working out into my daily routine. I came across an Ad on Instagram for Mama Barre and it looked like the perfect fit for us! I decided to give it a try and commit to a 6 week series. And I’m glad that I did!

Each week we have looked forward to coming to the class! I have been able to work out and he has the opportunity to play with other babies! I have been taught modifications as needed. Especially, if I need to hold my baby so I can still do each of the exercises.

Such a wonderful and unique class!

What caught my attention was the fact that you can bring your baby to the workout! I haven’t formally exercised in years, so I was tentative about starting, but I am so glad I did!

All of the mamas are at different fitness levels, which helped to make me feel like I could start from the bottom and still fit in.

The workouts are just the right amount of time. They are a full-body workout in just an hour, and not too difficult.

Nicole is so kind and helpful. She also shows modifications to the sets if they are too challenging or not challenging enough.

I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to work out and still bring their baby. A great place to meet other moms as well!

This was, hands down, the BEST thing I did for myself postpartum. I started my first series at 4 months PP and it was everything I was hoping for and more. Every mom needs to sign up for Mamabarre series/classes! We love Mamabarre our only regret is that we didn’t find it sooner! We saw an ad on Instagram, signed up for an upcoming popup class, and then decided to commit to the fall 6-week program, and we are so happy we did.

I struggled with getting back into working out after having my son. I have found a healthy routine with this series. It has pushed me into a new workout concept, and the motivating environment entices my workout without worrying about childcare. We have made friends at Mamabarre and look forward to our mornings in class socializing with other mamas and their babies. This class is amazing! I started out looking for a workout class for myself but honestly kept putting it off knowing I would have to find a baby sitter for my child. When I found this class, I was excited to bring him with me! I personally loved the exercises and I have noticed myself getting stronger! Baby and I loved being a part of the Mama Barre series!

When I saw the classes advertised at a local business, I immediately signed up. Barre was my go-to workout during pregnancy and before, so I loved the idea that I could continue to get a great workout and bring baby along!

As a newly postpartum mom, these classes were just the right amount of challenge while feeling safe and fun. Nicole creates such a positive environment for us moms and our babies. I truly enjoyed meeting other new moms, getting my shake on, and bonding with my baby in a new way.

Baby barre was a perfect way to ease back into exercise after giving birth while spending quality time together and getting out of the house!!

Hi! My name is Tanner, and I joined Nicole’s class when I was 6 months postpartum. I am a former marathon runner who hasn’t worked out consistently in what feels like 4.2 centuries (aka about 3 years) and was slightly unprepared for how intense barre would be, but also how incredibly motivating and fun Nicole’s class is! She is amazing at modifying the workouts if you’re struggling (🙋‍♀️), but also really pushing you to work on building a strong body! Postpartum second time around I was manifesting some sort of mama baby workout and Instagram answered my prayers! I saw Mamabarre pop up as an Instagram ad and immediately clicked to learn more. It was exactly what I was wanting. The morning time was perfect and the amount of days each week were perfect and I was so happy to get a spot as Nicole ended up selling out the session! It’s such a great way to get out of the house, get some exercise and bond with other local mamas. Nicole is an amazing instructor and I’m sad to be going back to work! Mama Barre was a godsend for me as I was desperately wanting to get active again after having my twin baby girls, but I was challenged to find the time since I am a working mom, and I was simply nervous to get back into an exercise routine. Motherhood is hard. Entering motherhood mid-global pandemic felt nearly impossible. Mama Barre came into my life when I was feeling hopeless about meeting other mothers. I had only done barre a few times before and was quite intimidated as it had been nearly 9 months since I worked out. When I arrived, baby in tow, I immediately felt seen- 10 other moms who were going through the exact struggles that I was, all bonded with a goal to get in shape while making mom friends. I’m wrapping up my third series as we speak and have seen an amazing improvement in my strength. The classes get progressively more difficult, working different muscles and challenging us one small tuck at a time. Nicole is an amazing instructor- she creates awesome playlists and provides adjustments on request! She is incredibly accommodating and makes a conscious effort to ensure all moms feel included in the class. If you’re wondering how it is working out with baby, it ROCKS! I love sharing these sweet moments with my son- which mostly consist of me trying to hold a plank and him trying to grab my toes or climb on top of me. Watching all of the babies hit milestones throughout the series is amazing and is such a great moment to witness! All in all, do yourself a favor and sign up for Mama Barre. Mama Barre has been something I have been taking for a year now.
It has been a really fun experience seeing myself grow physically stronger as well as mentally. The community of Mamas have been a real positive in my life. We are all in the same situation looking to reach similar goals. It's been fun meeting Moms and connecting with them and their children as well! Barre has been an awesome full body workout for me. As my child grows I need to stay strong for myself and them! These classes make it possible for me (a busy mother) to take. I am able to bring my child to this class which relieves the stressors of finding someone to watch them while I get a workout in. A 45 minute full on body workout you won't regret!
