We trained with Everett for a few months and had a really great experience. He’s super knowledgeable, always on time, and really helpful in the gym. On top of that, he’s friendly and easy to talk to, which made the workouts something we actually looked forward to. We saw good results and learned a lot along the way. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a great and fun trainer!

Best decision i have made for myself in the past 20 years was hiring Everett as my trainer. He not only got me back in the best shape ive been in since my early 30's (im 46) but i can honestly say i made a lifelong friend as well. just 3 months with Everett and i packed on muscle and lost over 50 pounds. I just turned 62. I started my weight loss journey in April. I began with Zepbound and saw good results. I heard that Zepbound and a calorie deficit diet results in both fat and muscle loss. So, I joined a gym. But I made little progress in strength.
I found Miner Fitness online and reached out for training in September 2024. It has been very successful. Since September I have lost over 20 pounds, increased my upper and lower body strength, decreased my blood pressure medications, and no longer need to use an inversion table to treat my sciatica. I am as flexible as I was in college, easily performing back and leg stretches.
Everett recognizes your abilities and capacity. He will tell you that there’s more in the tank. He listens if you tell him no or there’s pain. I like to surprise him with more weight or reps.
I do have an issue with the training. I need to buy new clothes. I’m a guy, and I don’t toss old clothes, and now there’s also a storage issue.

Before working with Everett, I felt intimidated by the gym and unsure of where to start. The thought of working out on my own was overwhelming, and I lacked the confidence to even try. However, with Everett’s guidance, I quickly learned the fundamentals of each exercise. When I first started training, I was only able to lift 15lb dumbbells for chest presses and goblet squats with just 20lbs. Fast forward six months, and I’m now bench pressing 150lbs for 8 reps with a 1-rep max of 185lbs. For squats, I’ve progressed from 3x5 reps with 20lb dumbbells to back squatting 135lbs for 5 reps. The progress has been incredible!

For about two years, I have been struggling with lower back pain. As a result, I had been pretty inactive and even gained weight. Two months ago, I found Everett and I now feel like I can be running again soon. I still get some back pain, but on the days that I train with Everett, I feel amazing - not so sore that I can’t move but definitely challenged. My strength is back and I feel more confident. I had been going through a long plateau so I followed Everett’s program and then took advantage of a couple coaching calls with him, and I haven’t looked back. I just simply followed his program, sent him form check videos, and after 2 cycles it helped me crush new PRs. The online coaching calls really helped me dial in my technique too since we’d analyze form clips together. I didn’t think I’d ever get back to my peak of 315 on bench and now I’m smoking past that. I cannot say enough how much Miner Fitness has done for me. After having my 2 babies I had a lot of work to do fitness wise. I was one of the people who literally tried every program out there and spent tons of money on the standard gym trainers, and just nothing was working and I was not comfortable to stick to it.
