With a wealth of coaching experience, ranging from dynamic strength classes at the YMCA to a diverse array of courses at Yavapai College, Coach Janine is now the proud founder of Monsoon Strength + Conditioning. Best Gym in Prescott!!! I love having a great coach plan my workouts! All I have to do is show up, do what Janine tells me to do, and I look better naked. Give her a shot, you won't be disappointed!

I love that I found this gym after trying a few different gyms in town! The workouts are fantastic and can be adapted to any age or fitness level. Monsoon is for everyone! Janine is super knowledgeable and always there to help. Everyone here is also very friendly and supportive, it’s more than a gym - it’s a community!

My current gym for a year now and by far my favorite thanks to amazing programming, coaching and community. This is my 3rd crossfit style gym but by far my favorite and the most welcoming. Huge results difference from holding a standard gym membership and self directing like I did for years at 24hr fitness. Having group programming with everyone on board with warmups + lifting + daily WOD is awesome and achieves real results alongside great people!

I love coming here for the community, amazing workouts, diversity in exercises, healthy relationships and environment. The wellness room with sauna, red light, and cold plunge is an incredible asset and my favorite thing after a killer workout.

I have wanted to join a gym for years but I have been too intimidated. I reached out to Janine (Owner, Trainer, Angel that walks amongst us) and told her my concerns. She replied, “The hardest part is walking through the door…”
Truer words never spoken. It has been a life changing experience. You don’t just join a gym, you become part of a community. I’m so thankful to be a part of it.
My only regret is that I didn’t find Monsoon Strong earlier.

The owner and coach, Janine, is fabulous and her programming is amazing. She has been a fitness coach for many years and has her degree and many types of certifications!! If you're looking for a community of people to hold yourself accountable and to grow in your fitness journey, this is the gym for you! We have fun and we work hard! Don't be intimidated, take that first step and walk through the door! All levels and all ages are going to find that this will be your new fitness home!! You won't regret it! The gym is open 6-days a week and there is even open gym time to either do the programmed work on your own or if you like to do your own programming to take advantage of the equipment, free weights, ski erg, bikes, rowing, rigs, etc. In addition there is a wellness room that you can also become a member of, to utilize the cold plunge, sauna, red light therapy, etc.!!! Walk or run to this fabulous gym, you wont regret it!! Monsoon S&C is truly a family!

We love Monsoon! Janine has done a great job creating a safe place for individuals of all shapes, sizes, and ability levels to grow in their pursuit of fitness! The coaches and athletes have worked together to create an accepting and supportive community! I wouldn’t want to be at any other gym! AND the recovery room is a great addition to keep you feeling good and performing in the gym!

Janine brings over 20 years of expertise in health, nutrition, strength & conditioning, fitness, and wellness to the Quad Cities. I first discovered Janine in 2011 at a local CrossFit gym and have followed her ever since. I'm so grateful she opened her own facility, which offers a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. This gym caters to everyone - whether you're in physical rehabilitation, just starting your fitness journey, competition preparation or an athlete seeking challenging sports training. Janine's impressive credentials include a BS in Corporate Fitness, extensive college training in nutrition, and certifications in CrossFit Kids, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, StrongMan, Running, and Gymnastics. She also specializes in mobility work. The welcoming environment, combined with her extensive knowledge and experience, makes this gym truly special. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and supportive. Highly recommend!

Coach Janine has been an inspiration in our lives since 2017 and her programming is wonderful. My teenagers enjoy attending her classes in addition to their school sports. I’m so thankful for the foundation of strength training Janine has offered our whole family through the years.

This gym is my fitness family the minute I walked in the doors! The owner Janine will train you wherever you are on your fitness journey. 12 years old or 99, she will get you stronger. My wife and I joined the gym in July shortly after we moved to Prescott. We were offered a free week to see how we liked it and we were hooked. Everyone at the gym is so welcoming and friendly. Such a positive atmosphere no matter where you are on your fitness journey. If you want a great place to workout with the best people than you have to come to Monsoon!!!!
