Very clean gym. Ive never seen it be packed enough to where you couldnt get on a machine. Locker room is always clean and has combination locks on their lockers. Locker rooms have steam rooms, showers and dry sauna. Gym provides free towel service so you dont have to worry if you forgot your towel. Gym also has a basketball court. Gym offers a once per month InBody analysis that measures body fat percentage and muscle mass. They have a daycare center.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they only give you one 5-day guest pass per calendar year. Very limiting if you are trying to get someone you know to start working out. Even five 1-day guest passes would be better.

So far so good my friends. You know the rules, The place is nice and clean. Plenty of room to work out. Not over crowded. Not to busy. The people who work out there seem pretty nice. And all the hottie ladies don't bother me when I am working out. PLEASE bother me ladies, YOU know you want to, lol. You know the rules. I am very single. I am the nice guy who is crippled with the 4 legged walker. Just sayin. 6/5/2025 at 845 am . Wow the parking lot is full and only 2 HANDICAP PARKING. Why is that? SUXKS I drove around 2 times thinking a handicap parking would open up. Not today, so I had to park on the back side of the building and walk with my walker up front to the door. It's a workout alone. I talked to Tyler about the situation, only 2 (two) handicap ♿️ parking spots and hundreds of other regular parking spots. Anyways he listened to my concerns and said that the parking lot was already here and he said that they were going to do some remodeling on the inside and I said what's the problem putting a few more handicap ♿️ signs/ parking spots? He said that I am not the only person to bring it to his attention. So seeing is believing. Talk the talk now walk the walk. As of now, still haven't added any new handicap parking spots, Just sayin my friends.

I've been working out here for over 3 years and it's been a great experience, plenty of equipment that's kept in great shape. My personal trainer is Kellie, she's been a certified trainer for over 24 years and has helped me get into such great shape, I never could have imagined feeling this strong. She has plenty to suggest about nutrition also, if you follow her advice it will be well worth it.

I would give it 5 star if they were 24 hours sometimes it’s too late when I get off of work and the gym is not open it really sucks especially on Saturdays and Sundays hopefully they can change this soon or i will have to cancel and get gym membership at EOS oh I forgot the basketball court 🫤 we need a full court just like they built a full court for the day care kids lol . Joslyn and Connor are great people and they always greet you with a “good morning” and “have a great day” when you come and go. Management is very friendly and always ask for feedback. The only problem is some of their equipment needs maintenance and it takes forever for their vendor to fix. They have had to take 2-3 pieces of equipment off the gym floor in the last month. The only reason I notice is I use those pieces for shoulder workouts. Other than that, it is a great gym with regulars and it doesn’t have women with cameras or Tri pods so it’s nice to see a gym culture that respects people’s privacy.

Edit: update*** workout in the afternoon is not as crowded as in the morning but please, teach your Gen Z employees to not act so entitled. It’s off putting and disrespectful. Not all are like that just most of the women employees and young men who wear chains acting like slim shady.

Seriously, these are the grossest, nastiest stinkiest showers in any gym I’ve ever been in my life! I complained about it last year and the PR guy for Mountainside promised me that they would be fixed “soon”- almost a year ago! Not a single improvement has been made! They just don’t want anybody posting about it, but they certainly have not fixed it or improved it in anyway! The showers need to be ripped out and completely replaced!! The reviews state the locker rooms are nice are true because they Replace the lockers a few years ago BUT, the Showers are disgusting and so are the faucets, shower heads, tile everything! I’m gonna stop coming to the Mesa gym altogether. The ones at Cadence & Gilbert are SO MUCH NICER!! Come on Mountaonside! Get with it

I joined Mountainside 6 months ago. It was my first time back in a gym after a 1.5 yr hiatus due to a back injury. I immediately signed up for personal training to keep myself accountable. I was ultimately paired with Anthony Edmonds as my trainer, and quite honestly, he's one of the best "coaches" I've ever had. He's friendly, fun, motivational, and he clearly loves what he does. He pushes me to be better, to do better, and reminds me that I'm stronger than I think I am. **I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention how wonderful the class instructors are too! The 5:15am crew is the best! Thank you for all that you do!

I just showed up at 7:30pm only to find out they closed earlier in the day for a really dumb reason (Peak Competition?). Several members showed up after me and were equally confused. The sudden change from closing at 11pm weekdays to closing at 9pm Friday to Sunday also never fails to throw me off - some days I’ll get ready to go to the gym at night as usual only to find out they’re closed earlier than I expected. I work nights so this doesn’t work for me. Not only is EoS less expensive and has better equipment but it’s also open 24 hours. This place blows.

The lack of gym etiquette at this location is brutal....people come late to yoga classes (anywhere between 3-10 mins), some leave mid class....there was a person on her phone (texting) off and on for 15 mins of a 50 minute class. Several people are on their phones while on the cardio equipment....loud enough I could hear them with my headphones on...absolutely ignorant and no regard for others around them. Ive been to many gyms over the years and there is no gym etiquette at this location.

I cancalled my membership 6 times. I got a job in Douglas, Az. Last I looked there is no Mountainside Fitness here. I went to the gym once and it cost me $315.00. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU LIKE TO PAY FOR NOTHING. Like I said i went there and cancelled, I called and cancelled and I wrote a letter to cancel. They turned my account over to collections $315.00 later I am finally away from this total nightmare of an organization. DONT DO IT!!!!!

Have been here about a month so far, after coming from Planet Fitness and EOS. The facility is always clean and faculty is always around to help. The women’s lockers room offer a scale, sauna, and nice showers. Their childcare was the main factor bringing me here and my son loves the options they offer for the kids. The childcare was room is large, staff is friendly with my son and they have a bounce house which was a pleasant surprise. Also have some games they’re able to play. They have a full basketball court, and the layout of the facility is good, easy to walk around. Their “juice” bar is amazing if you’re on a paleo diet or any dietary restrictions, they’re very accommodating. I’ve been enjoying my membership so far, and continue to be impressed with this location.

Got a 5 day pass and was pretty unimpressed. Compared to my usual gym (which is much cheaper) it was quite lacking. Machines had tears in the seats and pads, barbells were rusty, and the whole gym was pretty hot. The workers didn’t seem like they cared much about their job. For $50 a month you would expect more. Convenient location in Northeast Mesa - clean facilities, variety of machines, group fitness classes, and very kind staff. I've really benefited from their personal training and group fitness classes especially.

This location goes from bad to worse. Who decided to bolt down the benches in front of the dumbbells? And the bathrooms now have automatic water faucets without the temperature regulator. Which would not be an issue, except this gym has terrible plumbing so as soon as anyone turns on a shower or flushes a toilet, the water temp fluctuates everywhere. Good luck not burning your skin off while trying to wash your hands.

I frequent many of the Mountainside Fitness locations all over the valley. I may be biased but this location(Mesa) is by far my favorite next to the Ice Den. Awesome stuff and love the smaller facilities.
