I should have listened to the reviews, but instead I walked in trying to schedule a (free trail). At first everything was going okay, but then they asked me to sign the waiver which is fine I wouldn’t have mind totally understand. However they also have the enrollment agreement mixed in with(waiver). After reading the reviews online about people being unable to drop out of the class. I didn’t feel comfortable signing the form online or in paper. They also ask for credit card information which I think is weird for a free trail. Will continue to look for another gymnastics school.

This place is pure chaos. I signed my son up for toddler gymnastics and at first he enjoyed it. He attended 7 sessions and the first 4 sessions he had the same teacher. He was really starting to like her. Then it was a new teacher each session doing completely different activities. And the toddlers just got relegated to the part of the gym the bigger kids weren’t using at that moment. He started to fight me to go so we decided it wasn’t worth it anymore.

And good luck cancelling your enrollment! Per their policy I’ve emailed several times and continue to be charged, month after month.

Editing my review to take away stars and add that they are shady about prices. It seemed to change often and they make you do automatic repayments. Communication is awful, never answered a call or email. No one could answer questions in person except the owner who isn't always there. There's no individual attention, no free events. Refused to let us cancel membership for 30 days? Knowing they charge the annual fee in August when I tried to cancel in July is shady. Loyal customer of 4 years to be treated poorly when my girls outgrow this place.

Absolutely the BEST gymnastics program in Arizona!

My family and I have been beyond thrilled with our experience at MS Carol's Gymkids. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm. The facility is clean, well-organized, and inviting, making it the perfect environment for kids to learn and grow in gymnastics.

The instructors here are simply top-notch. Each coach brings a unique set of skills and an incredible passion for working with children. Whether your child has years of gymnastics experience or it's their very first time, the staff at MS Carol's Gymkids know how to meet them where they are and help them thrive. They have a fantastic ability to challenge each child while ensuring they feel supported and confident every step of the way. Safety is clearly a top priority for the instructors, which as a parent, I deeply appreciate. The focus on proper techniques, safe practices, and injury prevention is evident in every session, giving me total peace of mind as I watch my child have the time of their life.

What truly sets MS Carol's Gymkids apart, however, is the heart and dedication of the owners. They genuinely care about every single student, and you can see that in the way they take the time to get to know each family personally. Do NOT bring your kids here! 1st, I gave written notification to cancel 60 days prior on their form and handed it back to the girl checking in, she told me I would be charged for another month and I said that was fine, but when it came time they still charged me and said they didn't have the form!!! So I would advise taking pix of the form and the person who you hand it to. 2nd, the place smells like mold or something inside and they have water all over out front from the "sprinkler" where you have to watch your kids from that made the windows all cloudy and water on the ground for you to stand in. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend!

My daughter enjoys her gymnastics class. She has improved so much in only 8 months. We like that it’s at our own pace. The dress code is not too strict but still safe. It’s is affordable, compared to other gyms.
Parents are only allowed to watch from outside. But it helps the kids stay focused. Drop them off and run an errand watch a few minutes then go to pick up. Or be prepared to wait in your car.

I started out with a Groupon for 2 months of dance classes, for my granddaughter that was soon turning 3 yrs old. My husband and I drove by the place on a Saturday around noon, just to check it out, and see if we could speak to someone. They were all standing outside as it was closing for the day. Ms.Carol came right up to our car window and gave us the information we needed to enroll her for the young dance class, ages 4-7. Unfortunately, our granddaughter just wasn't able to keep her attention for the entire hour and she was running around distracting the other young dancers. Ms. Carol came to us at the end of class and suggested we try a different day of the week with a smaller class size. Once again, our granddaughter was just too young and she started running around again. Ms. Carol one more time came up to us at the end of class and suggested for our granddaughter to try the gymnastic class which is for 3-5 yrs old on Saturdays. Well, that was just the class she needed! She absolutely loves it. We explained our situation to Ms Carol about having to go to Florida for some months with our grandaughter and she is even working with us on that issue as well. Ms. Carol is letting us use our second month of classes when we return in June and we left in April! I honestly feel like we hit the jackpot with Ms. Carol's gymnastics class and her entire program as we have had nothing but the best experience and Ms. Carol honestly goes above and beyond to help your child fit in! She never gave up on her and tried everything she could until we were able to find a match for her. I will be a loyal customer and appreciate all that Ms. Carol and her staff does to help these kids!

I have had three daughters at this gym for the last 4 months as beginners. While attending we ran into some scheduling conflicts and understanding the cancellation policy I emailed to see what we could do. Ms. Carol was accommodating and helped us find make up classes, so we didn't lose out on tuition. I was appreciative of the flexibility. The mini meet we just attended was great exposure for the girls to try out some skills, and we appreciated that it was relaxed.

I just took my daughter here for the free trial day. She was in love with the class. The owners are very sweet people and the process of getting started plus what to expect was very straight forward.

The one thing that I wasnt aware of before coming to the free trial was that parents are not allowed to sit inside to watch the kids during class. They have a mister system outside and you need to bring your own chairs. Hopefully, this will change over time but so far it’s going well.

I am deeply concerned and worried for the children's safety attending Ms carol gym. my daughter was enrolled for months and the behavior and lack of communication I witnessed is extraordinarily alarmimg. do not leave your kids unattended. from the moment we've started a certain student was in my daughter's face as well as other students and I watched day after day while coaches stood there and did nothing to correct the situation nor address it.

I gently approached the parent of the kid that was bullying my daughter and other kids thinking it would be appreciated rather than fileing a complaint right away she screamed in my face. when I went to the owner to try and explain the situation and my concerns for my daughter and the class Ms carol screamed at me and gave me a withdraw form. once she was done throwing a fit she tried to take it back and asked me to stay.... literally are u nuts ? your behavior is wild no wonder this establishment is out of control. I feel so bad for the parents that drop off their kids and don't witness what's happening to their kids while in Ms carols care.

I've witnessed a teacher hold down a seven year old girl from a fight and not inform parents and not address the behavior. the coaches don't look out for the kids they just show up. everyone runs wild in a big room there is no lesson plan no goal no team work building no form of respect . The emotional damage from my daughter's experience is having lasting effects shes shy and scared to trust any other adults . she isn't open to trying new things she's scared if I'm not looking someone will hurt her .

Ms. Carol's Gym is poorly run. They assign your child to a number (similar to the prison system), and no one, and I mean NO ONE, takes the time to learn your child's name. The coaching is mediocre, but we continued to go as an introduction for our three-year-old daughter, who loves to dance and tumble.

The owner, Carol, is terrible at communication. She needs to learn how to talk to parents and address situations professionally. She comes off as very burnt out with owning a business and doesn't even realize that her loathing for kids is eating her alive. Because my husband and I have had to deal with her nastiness every week, I am happy to say that we withdrew our daughter after three months.

It is not a family-friendly establishment. You are just a number to them, not a human being. Occasionally my son has had to come to my daughters' session with me. Ms. Carol told my four-year-old son that the bathroom was for clients only (as if we weren't paying clients and just strolled in off the street looking for a restroom). This is a case-by-case scenario, depending on whether you deal with Carol vs. someone else. My son has used the bathroom in there before. However, parents should be aware of this before signing a contract with this gym.

The straw that broke the camel's back was when Carol walked my daughter out of the gym barefoot after having an accident. This made her feel ashamed, as she didn't feel comfortable telling Ms. Carol she had an accident because someone had previously left poop smeared all over the toilet. We raise our daughter not to use dirty things, especially toilets. Ms. Carol responded that they do not have enough staff to ensure the bathrooms are clean and safe for the next child. Something else parents should be aware of before signing their child up.

My daughter was in the Tumbling class for toddlers ages 2-4. Many of the kids have had accidents, but after my daughter had an accident, she was singled out. Ms. Carol asked her minions, aka managers, to ask me to take my daughter to the restroom before class. She could have asked me herself, as I was just talking to her. She is not going around to every parent asking them to take their child to the bathroom before class, just our daughter!

I am writing this review for the parent who was like me, wanting to find an inclusive, warm, and friendly place for your child to grow, learn and build confidence early. I'm sad to report that this place is not it. Your child deserves the best, and never should you settle for any business that treats you like anything less than what you deserve.

We've only been here for a handful of classes so far but it's doing wonders for my daughter! She comes out of class full of pride and confidence, ready to take on anything thrown at her. This was the best option for us based on my work schedule. Really appreciate the late classes. It's about a ten min drive from downtown Mesa, so not bad of a distance. The staff is helpful and resourceful with questions or concerns.

An update: my daughter has gotten so much better with her balance and she enjoys every hour here. We're looking to get her in a dance class soon. Love it 🤩 Definitely recommend it. FYI you can shop across the street while waiting or walk the lot like I do.

We love Ms. Carol’s! The staff is always friendly, and it’s very clean. My kids love that it’s a challenging workout, and they feel accomplished after every class. I love that it’s recreational gymnastics where the kids can learn the fundamentals, without having to be constantly compared or ranked. Our daughter started taking gymnastics class in Ms Carol's "parent and me" toddler class right after she turned two. The staff has always been so patient with her, and they make class something she looks forward to! As she gets older, we have been sampling the dropoff class as a makeup for when we miss our regular class, and the gym has been so flexible with that. I started doing the parent and tot class for toddlers. It is super hard to keep your kid engaged but stick with it, give them a little freedom and it helps your kid learn how to follow directions. The good thing is everyone has trouble keeping their toddler engaged, i think thats expected. But this class wares my toddler out and its fun and its a work out for me. So far no complaints!

Absolutely asinine rules at this place. It was 110 degrees, during an excessive heat warning and they do not allow parents to sit inside in July at 4 o'clock in the afternoon!!! They do provide the worlds cheapest mister system that does absolutely nothing. And to top it off, because of the glare of the sun, you can't even see your kids partake in the class, in addition to the door and window frames that also block your view! Oh, but the kids can see the parents sitting outside roasting and wave to them regularly, which, my guess is what you are attempting to avoid. Ridiculous and perhaps this is just one of those establishments who like to implement an insane amount of rules to make themselves feel powerful. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure that there are plenty of gymnastics locations nearby, go there! Negative stars should be an option!!

My toddler and I LOVE going to Ms Carol’s Gym, his class is upbeat/always moving, each week there are different activities/music-I was worried that after a few classes the activities would be the same/become stale-I’m thankful to have been proven wrong! I’m thankful that Ms Carol and some of her amazing coaches (like: Hailey, Brylee, Olivia, Elena, Sima-not sure on spelling,she’s new)-are so interactive, fun and patient with all the kids. They know my little guys name and will call out to him, encourage him and always manage to bring his attention/focus back to current activity-typical short attention span toddler. I like that if a kiddo (like mine-or others) is marching the beat of his own drum, or is maybe not in the mood that morning, it’s not a big deal and I never feel like I need to remove him from the class in shame. The other parents are also fun and supportive, and if two toddlers collide, it’s not a big deal-it happens-and usually the kids just laugh at each other and pop right back up to do it all again. I always feel like I have had a great workout too and bonus, we both take great naps in the afternoon! Thank you Ms Carols GymKids!

We have been taking our two girls here for about 4 years now. Mr Gene and Ms Carol are the sweetest, they always make the girls feel welcome, and they are there with quick solutions/suggestions if we ever have concerns. Back in January we made the mistake of leaving this gym to try a new “bigger” gymnastics place and after 6months and paying double my girls skill development declined, and their attitude towards gymnastics!!! Used a Groupon to try Ms. Carol’s. Wanted to upgrade to gymnastics and was easily able to with additional fees. Class was large but well staffed. Each group was 5 or less kids per adult. Adults obviously had gymnastics experience and helped my daughter with basics as she was the only new student that day.
Very professional and efficient set up and drop off and pick up procedure.

We've been coming here for about a year and my child loves it! They has really grown not only in their physical abilities but their confidence has soared as well. I love that this gym has more of a chill vibe too it. It's doesn't have that strict, lots of pressure, competitive vibe type of gym, which is what we wanted.

My daughters been going to Ms Carols for a few years. She did take a break for awhile and then came back. She really loves it here and I enjoy how they teach important basic skills of gymnastics and can help each child individually on what they’re working on. The setting is not so intensely competitive as other big gyms can be, which is perfect for my daughter to focus on learning while just having fun doing it. When she first started at age 4 she was scared of trying a certain trick on bars after bumping her legs once and the coaches were always so understanding & patient with her. Now bars is her favorite apparatus. They have so many options/classes depending on what your child needs/wants. My daughter has done the sing and dance classes before and those were so fun. Her true love is gymnastics though so she sticks to that now. Ms Carols Gym communicates well through monthly email newsletters and I enjoy the online portal, where they update your child’s profile with the skills they’ve learned. Whenever we’ve felt like a class wasn’t right for our daughter or she was feeling bored, Ms Carol would immediately reach out to see if there was another class or a level higher my daughter could try, so I really appreciate that. We even had a birthday party here one year, which was fantastic! I highly recommend Ms Carols Gym.

Is it too hot outside to exercise? Not at Ms Carol's Gymnastics! My daughters just started a couple of weeks ago, I was hesitant at first because they have tried dance in another city and just did not enjoy it. Since my girls have started I see a boost of confidence, excitement and joy that they are not only learning new things but making new friends. I have my nine year old and my two year old taking gymnastics. The first day my nine year old went she didn’t know what she was supposed to do and came back running with tears in her eyes . But Ms Joe came right over and asked what was wrong . I explained what happened and she then asked if she could work with my daughter one on one . I really appreciate and enjoy that they offer open gym for all and affordable additional classes to improve my girls skills. I think my favorite are the mini meets. One of my daughters was very shy but with a little encouragement and kindness from Ms Carol she was able to perform. I would highly recommend Ms Carol’s gym.

My 5-year-old daughter attended a free trial gymnastics class here a couple of months ago and was hooked! Ms. Carol gave us a tour of the facility after her trial class, and we got to see all the rooms where different lessons take place, all the cool equipment they use, and all the happy kids participating! She has been attending a weekly gymnastics class, as well as a sing-and-dance class since then, and really looks forward to her lessons after school a couple days a week. We are very much in the discovery stage of our gymnastics adventure and are enjoying the fun aspect of trying something new. She has been working on balancing, stretching, cartwheels, trampoline, and more. As she continues to learn and grow in the sport, I'm excited to see her progress into more technical skills. For now, it is a very enjoyable, affordable and welcoming activity for her to participate in. The young ladies who work at the front desk and bring her to and from class are also incredibly sweet, and she feels very comfortable walking in and following their directions, which is a huge plus! In just a few short months, I've already seen her confidence grow. We are grateful for a positive introduction to the world of gymnastics!

Have been coming here for a few month now. This place has an amazing facility and a great staff. Class sizes are just right. The price is very reasonable. The best part is that my daughters loves coming here. Looking forward to many more visits.

My daughters, Jazzy and Jenesys go to this gym. I have noticed a significant change in their confidence, and they have a blast. Ms. Carol really loves the kids and I feel like she helped me in a rough time. Thanks Ms. Carol for the help she and I know what she did and I just wanna say I feel like a part of a family! Started with my daughter doing the toddler class. So neat when I saw my daughter advancing and THEY suggested she move up a level. She does so great being in that class. Last Monday, I forgot about gymnastics and my 3 year old says, “mom, gymnastics is waiting for me”. she learns a lot and loves it!! Pick up around the back is smooth and convenient. I have recommended this place to many already! Love it.

Love this place! All the coaches are kind and want the best for the students! My daughter has been going here since she was 3 and now is about to be 6! Wouldn't have chose any other place to become apart of ❤

Took my two year old son to the toddler gymnastics class for his first free class to try out and I won't be taking him back. He JUST turned 2 and it was his FIRST class and do he didn't understand some of the stuff and kept running around and then one of the gym teachers walked up to me saying "you should try back in a couple months, I put your shoes over there" indicating us to leave. I get he may need to try again later but there wasn't even much time left and they couldn't even let us finish the class.

Not only that but my niece tried this place out a few years ago and she has autism and did some of the same things so it's a repeat.

God forbid your child either has autism or runs around in the class their first time or you aren't welcome there.

They didn't even give him a chance and as a first time Dad it's really disappointing to see people give up on your child before his first class is even over

We tried it . They were not very welcoming. Didn't introduce themselves or ask my daughters name. Just acted like she was just another body there. Very impersonal. When we left .. nothing like "nice meeting you" or" thanks for coming". Just "bye" . Seems they want the parents $ and nothing more. Staff are just not friendly. I felt my daughter didn't matter that she was there and it was her first time. WE WILL BE FINDING SOMEWHERE ELSE! Be professional, welcoming,and train your staff that it's not just a pay check. These are kids! Have some compassion! Not a good first impression.

My children went here for over a year and didn't make any advancement in either dance or gymnastics. When covid hit, they shut down. When they started back up in April/May they immediately started charging my credit card without authorization even tho my children were not attending. Took me a few months to realize and once I did they wouldn't refund me even tho my children had no attended any classes. Stay away. DO NOT let them auto charge your card. Sketchy business practices.

I 100% recommend Ms Carol's Gymkids! My only regret is not starting my kids there sooner. If you are looking for a program to light the fire of gymnastics and health in your young children, this is it!
My children are 4, 6, and 8 years old. They love their coaches, love the structure and consistency and count down the days until the next class.
I have appreciated how they have handled the pandemic this year. Their protocols were clear and helped all students, parents and staff feel safe. They provided opportunities for my kids to stay active when other opportunities were shut down or nonlonger available.
Ms Carol and Mr Gene are kind and always communicate. They have created a positive environment that encourages fun, fitness, and technique without a "stuffy" feel. I could go on and on, but if you are on the fence...jump off and jump into a class and experience it for yourself! Your kids will thank you!

Love This place! My 7yo HFA kiddo has been a student here for about a year & a half. She's done dance & gymnastics & last year we had her 6th birthday party there. The party was great because all I had to do was show up with the cake. They provided pizza & had fun activities for the kids which included an obstacle course & gift bags. Even the boys enjoyed it! The coaches my daughter has had during her classes have been awesome & they've gotten to know my kiddo & all her quirks! They are so good with her when she's overwhelmed & she literally thinks of them as family! We love this place & the owners are super sweet!
