I've had golf lessons over the years producing little to no long term success. Dave's approach is vastly different and he really works to improve the individual's current swing, timing and speed.

I am a guy who "golfed" 25 years ago without really knowing what I was doing other than building bad habits and a wicked slice. We moved to Arizona last year and per Arizona law I am getting back into the sport. Took lessons with a club pro and they spent more time trying to sell me clubs than helping me and all I left with was confusion. I found Navy Dave, read the reviews, booked a session and wow...AMAZING! Within 20 minutes, he helped me reset my grip, stance and swing and I was hitting shots I never thought I could. Gave me some drills to practice on my own, which I have been, and it is helping. Hit the range yesterday using the steps we went through and what an amazing difference. I actually hit a freaking draw, on my own! I am sold, and just bought a package to keep the learning going. Dave will work with you on how you swing and not try to confuse you with jargon and methods that you don't need. You can tell he has a background with instructing from the military, I am a Navy vet myself and we related so well. None of this is hyperbole, it's just fact. Extremely fairly priced as well. In the Arizona heat, having indoor lessons on a simulator with AC is just the cherry on top. The guy is a wizard and my wife will be getting lessons as well soon enough. I would give this as many stars as I could, amazing experience!

When my daughter said she wanted to try golf, my husband and I did what anyone would do...we asked for recommendations and searched the internet. Navy Dave caught our attention because of the 5 star reviews--specifically the feedback in those reviews.

My daughter is a true beginner and has had a few lessons with Dave and I can say that everything in those glowing reviews have been accurate. As a result the time together flies by, it is a relaxed learning environment, and I'm seeing immediate results. Can't express enough gratitude for Navy Dave. I decided to try him out about 3 months ago, coming off of a significant hand injury. From day 1, Dave has been all about forming a swing around my body, not making my body fit a specific swing. Coming on my 3rd full year of taking golf seriously, I wanted to maximize all aspects of my game. Within my first few lessons, my handicap went from 17/18 down to 13/14. Dave instills confidence within me, both mentally but allowing myself to gain that confidence within my physical swing. Every lesson I have with Dave is a blast, he keeps everything very relaxed although when it's time to swing, it is all business. There is no one better than Navy Dave! I needed trustworthy help purchasing new clubs for my husband. I was in over my head and asked a friend where to begin; his immediate answer was Navy Dave. It simply does not get better than Navy Dave Golf. I am a newer golfer who has always played sports in the past, but was looking to pick up a new hobby that I could be competitive in. From day 1, Dave was very interested in my goals as a golfer and tailored my training to help work towards where I want to be. Prior to Dave, I was looking up videos online of what to change in my swing, but it all felt forced and mechanical. I picked Navy Dave Golf when first trying out lessons because of his advertising of finding my true perfect swing, and not forcing me into a general template, and my experience with Navy Dave Golf has been nothing shy of that. Dave has worked around my natural athletic abilities to provide drills and a swing that my body is willing to support, which makes the game much more fun to play. This type of swing is easier to repeat, and has heavily increased my confidence over the ball. On top of the great training, if a great environment is what you are looking for in lessons, I promise you will never have a lesson that doesn’t include tons of laughing and having a great time.
