We joined this summer from Tennessee, and we were absolutely blown away! From day one, the coaches were the perfect balance of being strict yet fun — creating a training environment that truly brings out the best in the kids. Their high standards, combined with genuine encouragement, helped our child grow in skill and confidence so quickly.
The entire community was warm and welcoming — gymnasts, coaches, and staff alike. You can tell that everyone here is passionate about the sport and committed to excellence. We honestly can't say enough great things about this group. If you're looking for a place where your child can thrive, this is it. Highly, highly recommend!

My son spent nearly two years at NVG and went through five different coaches during that time. We were only informed of coaching changes twice, which showed a clear lack of communication. Practices were repetitive with little to no progression, and the program didn’t seem structured or tailored for boys.
The higher-level coaches showed no involvement with the recreational classes, which made it feel like those kids were an afterthought. When we canceled our membership, no one asked why or followed up — it was clear we were just another number.
It’s disappointing to look back and realize how little growth or development came from our time at NVG. The lack of consistency, communication, and support ultimately held my son back.

Many of these coaches don’t WANT to be there, The attitude towards kids is appalling.
I picked up my nephew from gym today, and he was crying after the coach embarrassed him.
He believes and feels he’s not “good enough” to go to the gym. The other kids get praise and uplifting comments but he does not.
I watched the class after, and his coach has attitude towards the kids. You can tell by watching her, she has to put effort into even smiling, while she’s there. She puts very little effort into the kids that aren’t as proficient or skilled.
He’s 7, what could a 7 year old possibly do to deserve to feel that way, after going to his favorite after school activity…
Be better NVG.

The facility is nice and clean; however, I would not recommend hosting a birthday party there. I showed up and was shocked to learn that all the parents (including my husband and grandparents) would have to remain in a separate “observation room” behind glass while the kids played. The only parents allowed on the gym floor were with kids who were not potty trained. It may have been in the fine print, but I would never have booked a party there knowing this. To spend that amount of money and not have my husband and parents get to play with my daughter on her birthday was extremely sad. They were very disappointed. Additionally, I felt disconnected not having a chance to engage with any of our guests. I’ve hosted parties at other gymnastics facilities, and this is never the case. Parents are usually allowed to freely engage with children throughout the playtime. I did give the facility three stars because they pre-set the dining room with table cloths, a birthday banner, and cutlery, which is a nice touch.

Over the course of nearly two years at this gym, my son experienced significant instability in coaching, with five different coaches during that time. We were only informed of coaching changes on two occasions, which highlighted a lack of communication and transparency. The program itself did not appear to be well-suited for boys, as my son repeated the same practice routine each week, with little variation or progression.
Additionally, the higher-level coaches showed little interest in engaging with the recreational classes, which further undermined the program’s effectiveness. When we decided to cancel our membership, the gym made no effort to inquire about the reasons for our departure, leaving us with the impression that our family was seen as just another number. After transitioning to a new gym, we discovered just how far behind my son had fallen; despite nearly two years at NVG, he had not mastered basic skills such as a cartwheel. The overall experience was disappointing, as the lack of consistency, communication, and program support significantly limited my son’s progress. While we are relieved to have made the switch, it is disheartening to reflect on the opportunities for growth that were lost during our time at this gym.

At the beginning of October, we had the pleasure of attending an event at NVG. We were very pleased with every aspect of our visit. I appreciated how patient and kind Christie at the front desk was she was knowledgeable and made sure that we knew the rules in order to keep our kids, safe and free of injuries. We had the best time and I appreciated her interaction with my children. Seems like a great place to take our kids. There’s nothing better than having a family friendly gym that we now are considering making our home for the kids’s extracurricular activity.

My grandkids love going to the open gym days at North Valley Gymnastics! It's such a great opportunity for them to get their wiggles out while developing great motor skills. They both look forward to seeing Miss Christy at the front desk! She always has kind words and a warm smile to welcome them in! Her high 5's on the way out are a favorite too! Thanks to all the staff who help make this happen!

After 2 years of attending NVG, we have decided we are will be moving on. The program has drastically changed, with no notice. Speaking with Kristy in management has made us realize our child is just a number at this gym. We will be requesting a full refund for our pre paid tuition and moving gyms.

We attended a birthday party for a three year old at NSG. The woman at the front desk was rude the moment we walked in. She was annoyed we didn’t fill out a waiver beforehand online. When I asked if we could opt out of the photo waiver I was told “no, because they can’t control who takes pictures and tags them.” Fine.
She asks if we have any kids under three. We say no, then fill out the forms. She says, “oh, you do have a three year old.” We do, you asked if we had any kids UNDER three. She says, like it was my mistake, “well, three and under.”
THEN we are told that only one parent can go in the gym with our (two, one with special needs) kids. The other parent will have to wait in a waiting area with all the other adults who I guess didn’t bring enough toddlers.
When I brought my concern up with the director, I was given a shrug and told, “this is how it’s always been!”
They also gave the kids no warning before it being time to stop playing, and got annoyed when my autistic three year old didn’t comply immediately. At the end of the party we were given a five minute warning to leave the building.
All in all, would never attend a party there again and would certainly not send my kids there for classes.

Our daughter was attending classes here. Unfortunately, she injured her arm (outside of this institution) which caused her to miss some classes. I reached out today to schedule a make-up class, as I was advised to do after she missed the class. I was told to call the following week after she missed the class. I also advised she was back in school and no longer needing to continue with monthly enrollment. A woman called back and was extremely rude stating our daughter could not make-up any missed classes since we’re not re-enrolling and it didn’t matter we already paid for the classes.
Be aware if your kid ever has to miss for an emergency regardless if you paid for the classes. I was told one thing about making up a class then heard something completely different from this person who could care less about treating customers with dignity.

Didn’t keep my kids engaged. The teacher in the movers class has zero energy and struggles to keep them together. For an expensive 45 minute class it regularly starts late and ends early.

We really love this gym. They welcomed my daughter after we moved back in town and the coaches have done a wonderful job building both her skillset and her confidence. The gym is clean, and the parents and families who attend here are kind and supportive (at least the ones I've met!). Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to foster your child's interest in the sport.

My 3 year old was in jumpers and the first two classes were great until today, when she had a new teacher. This girl had such a bad attitude towards the kids from the get go. Walking around all angry and not engaging with them at all. The kids were not paying attention and rolling on the floor while she just pouted about it. When the kids would do something well, she would just walk away from them. If the kids weren’t listening, she’d roll her eyes and walk away. Instead of going through the different stations and showing the kids what they should be doing, she would just describe what they should do and the kids are 3 years old. Of course they’re not going to know what to do, but the coach didn’t care. Sooo much attitude. I reported it to a front desk lady and the teacher was not talked to. Then I came up again and asked to unenroll my daughter from the class and she didn’t even remember who I was or that I had just made a complaint about the teacher. Anyways, I’ll find a new gym. Not paying $100 a month for angsty teens to not teach the kids anything.

Best place to take your kids. Everyone is very professional and respectful. Coaches are very patient with the kids. The place is very clean and they followed all COVID-19 protocols when they were mandatory. They follow all city building rules to ensure the safety of all our little ones. Gave it 5 Stars only because there's no option for 6.

Attended a gymnastic competition as guest from Tucson. The place was pretty dirty. I was on the top level and looked down to see an exit sign above below door, full of hair that appeared to have accumulated over a very long time. My eyes were opened immediately to the uncleanliness of this facility with dust, hair, fingerprints and dirt on surfaces that should be cleaned at least daily. During a time that protocol and respect for covid should adhere, it was shocking to see parents of the norm for this facility and employees of NVG disregarded the 6 feet rule, on top of no need to wear a mask. This was shocking due to the fact that the gymnasium was filled with young children to new born babies.

Brinley did an excellent job during Mondays open gym. She was very talkative and friendly and did a great job helping the kids stay safe on the equipment. She is caring and I could tell she loves her job and takes pride in her work. It was a great first time experience for myself and my daughter. We will be back again soon!

If you're having a birthday party, don't plan on partaking in any of the fun if your child is over 4. Only one parent allowed in the gym area if if the child is under 4. If they are over 4, they're on their own.

This place is incredible! My kid needs a place to go summer camp and this place has got everything she needs in a safe and professional environment. I wouldn't think of taking my kid anywhere else. If you really want your kid to have a blast and learn some new gymnastics skills, there's not really any other choice but North Valley gymnastics! If you haven't been here for their regular classes, then right now is perfect to check them out for their summer camp. After you get your feet wet I think you're going to decide to sign them up for the regular scheduled sessions.

My daughter has been going here for a few years now and we absolutely love it! They have a large, clean facility filled with well trained, attentive and friendly staff.
I saw some posts about not liking the repetitive nature of the classes. Friendly reminder, gymnastics is repetition ❤️
I’ve tried multiple gyms in the valley before landing with NVG, they are by far one of the very best!

I enrolled my 4 year old and 2 year old in classes 2 months ago. They had a tough time at first but coaches were persistent without being overbearing. My 2 year old is gaining coordination and confidence. Thanks to consistency and structure my 4 year old is excelling quickly and now loves it!

My daughter did the free trial class. We had no idea what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised with NVG. Beyond happy with their communication and customer service. Her coach stayed and spoke with us after her session as well! Needless to say, we have now become members of this gym and I am so excited to watch my daughter excel here! Even signing her up and making the first payment was a flawless experience! I highly recommend this place!

I started bringing my daughter here in mid August because it was within our budget and close to our home. I am very impressed with this place. My daughter has coach Sam in the fast track a class and I love her. My daughter needs structure and coach Sam gives that to her. She has rules and if you don't follow then there is consequences. They also do activities every month or so that my other kids who don't attend the gym can take part in. Love this place!

Teaching my young kiddo how to follow instructions is why I come here. For the structure! However, they do the same thing every single week and I wish there was more of a progressive class where they can build on skills and more hands on from the coach because often parents are left wondering what they are supposed to be doing or if they are doing it right. Also they have big issues here. Roaches, spiders.. I see something crawling on the floor almost every visit :(
