I was overbilled twice and charged $20 in late fees each time, even though the payment was set to automatic charge on my Chase credit card. The payments went through, but Planet Fitness still added late fees on top of the charges. They refused to correct the issue and blamed my bank. I have filed a dispute with Chase. Planet Fitness will need to explain why they keep applying late fees on an active automatic charge that successfully takes my money.

good luck canceling your membership. they charged me full price for 2 years and when I called to cancel and ask for just 1 month reimbursement. the lady declined. and when I told her I had not been into the branch in years but she touted that she could see that I had not used my membership to sign in even one time in the last two years. but reminded me we aren't billed on use but as a subscription. so even though she could see that I hadn't been using my membership she was not going to be issuing any sort of refund. telling me "when you sign back up just remember that"

First off I wanna say I’ve been a member for years and love it. But it appears my time with Planet Fitness may be over. There is a yearly fee that I don’t mind paying. But I didn’t realize it was that time. I got a message it was past due last night and I am being charged a 20 extra late fee. I live off a fixed income and even that small amount is too much for me. My family struggles to make sure I can go as it is. I went in today to see if the late fee can be waived. I was told no. So I told the girl I can’t afford that and the membership fee coming up so I need to cancel my membership as much as I don’t want to. Because I love going. Anyway she said she can’t cancel because I have a balance now. I told her I can’t afford the 100 dollars it will cost this month. I asked what happens they just keep racking up fees to charge me because I can’t pay the late fee? She didn’t have an answer. I only needed the 20 dollar late fee removed. So I guess I have to go somewhere else now over 20 bucks. I hate that. I didn’t want to try EoS but they seem to be about the same price. I just wish planet fitness wasn’t willing to lose a membership over 20 bucks.

The features about membership that I truly appreciate include the convenience of multiple locations, the 24 hours of operation service, the variety of equipment, and fitness options. The massage beds and chairs were my favorite aspects. The buddy pass was also great and allowed me to bring a guest as well. Planet Fitness will always be my favorite gym.

Gretchen is the best gym manager in the state. Been to other gyms she is the only one that greets you with a smile. Gym is always clean especially the men's locker room. Trust me hands down the best place to work out,just go and check it out

I primarily go in the morning and the front desk greets me with smile and a pleasant good morning Sammy 🙂 The general manager leads by example the trainers are always focused on their clients and motivate as well as teach wether your young or Older , in shape or just starting you will feel comfortable and motivated to come. I went to this planet fitness Friday the little girl at the desk was very nice and very sweet after my workout I went to the desk to get a massage chair oh my word there was a very very rude young African boy at the desk he ask for my membership then he wanted to now who I am well there's pic of me on my membership he did not want to help me really he wears glasses not friendly at all very rude and mean think I will go to a better planet fitness this one with there new people is going down hill fast

If I could give this establishment ZERO STARS!, I would.
As a black card member since 2021, I have Never missed a payment, even when I was very sick from covid and could not work out for over 12 months!!
I come to the gym sometimes twice a day because I train and I power lift.
I have had 800 dollars worth of my personal belongings stolen out of my shower stall while I was showering.
Today, just now, as I needed to the use the restroom before I started my workout, the woman at the front desk accosted me, that I need to workout before I can use the locker room and facility!!
I am tired of being harassed because there is demographic that uses Planet Fitness for the shower because they are addicted and homeless.
I will be following up my complaint with management and the appropriate personnel to make change around the gym. I am tired of being talked to like that as a loyal patron and former second responder. I am absolutely disgusted by how I am treated by the front desk employees!!
I will be taking my loyal business elsewhere immediately.

The water fountains were not working throughout the whole gym and even an employee said that they aren’t able to get water for free. I am pretty sure that commercial businesses are obligated to provide water (not the container) for free in Arizona so that is a huge issue that should be fixed asap… until then I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I was at planet fitness at 75th Ave and Peoria location in July.

I had amazing customer service from Montell. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. He was so helpful. I learned that I still had two months left from my contract. That was really good news to hear.

I enjoy having customer service and love to give recognition to Montell for delivering that service to me. He also had a great attitude and a great smile 😊.

Every morning when I walk in, I’m greeted by name and all the morning team members, Monday-Friday, are ready to set up the hydro massage chairs for me right when I walk in. I'm one of those people who use fitness centers for their showers. This particular planet fitness shower situation is pretty terrible the showers are very small there is no water pressure and the water does not get much warmer than like I guess a lukewarm. Not ideal if that's the reason you are using planet fitness for the showers I would suggest going to the one on 75th avenue and Peoria they have much better showers

the blonde lady in the morning needs to politely shut her mouth and quit yapping at people she feels comfortable talking to. she complained about the shoes i wore to the gym while they match every qualification she gave for a gym shoe but there was a group of kids in crocs signing in literal seconds before i signed in. rules are fine if there’s no double standard based on her being too bashful to talk to some guests.

I'm amazed that for over the past months there's been glass in the parking lot by the front door I made a comment about it over month ago no one as cleaned um unacceptable, you should be concerned about the appearance of your business, paper towels are always empty around the club dirty logo in front of door employees not being welcome and not welcome you back see employees standing around especially black shirts I would think that you should on top of these simple and routine tasks that should be check hourly you as a company are losing a lot of money in the past months so I would think that maybe management would be more concerned of not losing more customer's just my opinion that's in management myself so keep up the so so work definitely needs improvement considerd customer

Planet fitness has a silly reputation, I know. However, this place isn't bad at all. Usually a pleasurable experience with a lot of up to date equipment. I go in hours at a time and really don't ever run into having to weight for a piece of equipment too long. Long everywhere, not everyone understands or knows gym eqittque, but overall, it is a good experience. All the employees so far have been very nice their hours are a little confusing, though. They're NOT 24-7, hence why the 4 STARS.
