My wife and I joined Planet Fitness about a week ago and we both love the experience. They have every machine you could want, lots of them and the staff has been great. friendly and helpful...every one. Its definitely a chill vibe and you see all ages. Everyone is quietly and respectfully doing their thing. The monthly fee is extremely fair and you cant beat all of the massage-based experiences. As a first time gym experience, it is indeed a little intimidating with all of the machines. They have QR codes on most so you can see the proper way to use them. My wife and I are meeting with one of the trainers and I cant wait to ask him or her what machines would be best for my goals, and how to use those machines effectively.

The staff at this location are very rude and need training in customer service. I had an employee who was a female with reddish brown hair who harassed
me about wiping down equipment that I did for a fact wipe down after usage. She approached me and spoke very harshly to me about it, even though she was fabricating what happened. It made others around me, as well as myself feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I am a bigger guy and it really sucked to have someone lie about that and make a scene. I won’t go back, but I hope to transfer my membership to a different location.

Terrible customer service. Pretty embarrassing that's who you hire as manager. Someone who can't handle simple billing info politely. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Planet fitness lost a customer for life. Worse manager I've ever dealt with in any business.

This location is always clean and it isn’t crazy crowded. I switched to a different local gym for a few months and had to switch back to this Planet Fitness. The other place that I was going did not have the same access to strength training equipment and the staff was not as nice as those at Planet Fitness. I love that even at peak hours, I am able to find a treadmill, elliptical and other equipment without having to wait forever. The circuit training set up is perfect for me. It is not confusing and all lined up in one spot so that you can just hit each machine and target all different muscle groups of the body. It works out that Planet Fitness is inexpensive and fits my workout needs. The only thing I would add (and would love to have) is in person workout classes.

My wife became a member since her job is located nearby. I went with her a few or more weeks back & we've been to this location for about maybe 5 or 6 times since our initial visit & the staff has always been great, friendly, & courteous. They treat me like I'm also a member & not just a "guest" very pleased with this location. I may join this gym along with my current membership at another gym franchise. This location is the worst. I was constantly being harassed by grown men who were regular members and when I complained and filed a report, nothing was done by management. In fact, the manager, Jessie, was extremely rude and had the worst customer service. Multiple previous employees requested to be transferred to a different location because of how intolerable she made it for them. I submitted several complaints via email and never got a reply.
If you’re a woman, please know that you are not safe at this location.

Stopped going here about 3 months ago because of some VERY uncomfortable comments from much older men. Since then I have asked 4 or 5 times for them to cancel my membership yet here I am 3 months later getting charged still. They make you come in to cancel your membership but apparently that doesn’t even work so not really sure what to do. Sick of getting charged for this gym when I do not use it anymore. They do not allow you to cancel through the app, nor online nor over the phone, it must be in person. So, I stopped by last night and tried to cancel my membership. The girls at the front desk were pretty rude, first thing out of her mouth was WHY?! Not, oh, sorry to hear that or may I ask why.... Then I hear one girl talking to the other and says, oh, have him cancel it online... better for our in-person cancel numbers or something like that... come on, give me some respect I am standing right in-front of them.

I logon to the app like they asked, try to use their instructions to cancel, but like I mentioned earlier, not able to cancel online. Next step, they ask me for my phone number so that they can cancel my membership in person....They then proceed to tell me that they can not cancel my membership because I have an unpaid balance of over $200 dollars. I then tell them that every month my bank account has a debit for planet fitness and that is not accurate.... so, I show them my bank account and how in the last 12 months, every month they hit me for $26 dollars... she says that is very odd, she will let the manager know and have her call me in the morning.

Fast forward to the morning, Jessica, the manager does actually call me, very shocked to be honest....Jessica then proceeds to tell me that in oct, nov and Dec of 23!!! they tried to charge my account and there was an error...... the same account they have been charging me the last year plus on! If my account did not have the funds to cover their attempts, that would be one thing, but I did and have zero over draws or returned transactions on my account, which I would be willing to prove as well... just seems very suspicious to me that you have been able to pull money from my account for over a year with zero issues, but yet when it comes time for me to cancel somehow there is a mysterious bill and I have to pay over $200 dollars to cancel my membership..... come on PFQC, do the right thing, contact me, erase this fake debt and allow me to cancel my membership.

Our first few times here and very pleased. All the other users were very polite and considerate, and kept the equipment clean as they used it. We also frequently noticed employees sweeping and cleaning equipment.
All equipment is well spaced and not crammed in upon each other - not the case in some gyms.
We are pleased that we chose this gym for our workouts.

Be aware of signing up at this gym. I signed up online for about 2 weeks and found that it wouldn't work out and in the contract that was month-to-month it says that I must go in person or I can email and it provided the email address for the Queen Creek location to cancel. Which I did. I emailed them three times before they responded and then they responded and said that I need to send them a certified letter to cancel. Certified letter? Get lost

A lot of the employees there are nice and seem professional, but they have a few that should not be in customer service. They act put out to check you in and have a hard time working their computer system. We recently dealt with two extremely rude female employees who seemed to go out of their way to be cruel to the customers for absolutely no reason.
Most of the massage loungers are down and it randomly smells more sweaty than the average gym.
We will likely be switching to another Planet Fitness as we are fed up with this Queen Creek one or maybe we will join another gym altogether even if it costs more for their membership.

SANITIZE SANITIZE BEFORE USING EQUIPMENT AND AFTER. I received MRSA at this gym 3 days after attending and was hospitalized 4 days and 3 nights. I contacted the “manager” last week and he understood and said they try very hard to not pass this throughout their gym. Turns out he wasn’t the manager. Today i spoke to the manager and she took no responsibility to me receiving this from their gym. She didn’t say they are going to sanitize more she just said that they haven’t had any complaints from this and will continue to only sanitize once nightly. I was informed by the infectious disease dr in Mesa that i contracted this terrible infection from here. Won’t be going back and reached out to cancel and was given the wrong email by the manager here.

I came back to planet fitness after being a member a few years back. I decided to start working out again, and I went to the EOS Fitness I was quickly turned off by the pushy people trying to make me get a personal trainer, I kept telling them no, and even if they would offer it for free I still would not want it There was two people trying to convince so I did not do my membership there. I came back to planet fitness The people here help me get my membership for planet fitness they were really helpful and not pushy at all. In fact they were really patient with me because of my phone locked up.

I lost a lot of respect for this location. I didn't have my stuff pulled up because I was waiting for my phone to connect to the wifi so I could. The front desk made it seem like a big deal and huffed and puffed until asking me if I'd like them to look it up by phone number. I get it if you were busy handling something and someone walked in interrupting that, but acting like your day is completely ruined for a two-second wait is a joke, especially since they were doing nothing except twiddling their thumbs when I walked in.

Sometimes is a little crowded, but generally can get in and out in time needed and finish my workout. I like the recovery features they're adding like the massage chairs. Would like a red light therapy option built mor for recovery than just cosmetics though. The one they have is 600-700nm wavelengths, which is generally for skin and cosmetics. Combine it with 800-850nm is generally deeper penetrating to help muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage recover/heal from stress of a workout. The one they have is more suitable for a beauty salon than a gym.

I did not renew my membership and this business/franchise decided they were going to renew my membership anyways and continuously rack up fees after fees after fees when I did not agree. Nothing special about this location. The staff wasn't warm and fuzzy. I reported a piece of equipment that wasn't working properly and was a safety hazzard as well. I was told as soon as someone came back from lunch they would take a look at it and get a sign put on it. I proceeded to enjoy the hydro bed, tan and take a shower. I cruised by the same machine on my way out and absolutely nothing was any different...no sign posted either....kind of sad. I was there for almost 3 hours and never saw one employee cleaning anything. There was also a wad of gum stuck on the wall of my changing room in the ladies locker room.

I travel a bunch and always use Planet Fitness, but wasn't impressed with this facility or staff.

Total waste of space. 90 percent of the treadmills and elliptical machines are never in use while the benches and free weights area are CONSTANTLY congested. Employees standing behind desk chit chatting while the paper towel dispensers are almost always empty ( the ones you are supposed to use to wipe down equipment). Trying to get through a workout in an already congested area and people are more concerned about being on their phones then actually working out. My husband and I joined this gym about a month ago. I had a minor issue with an unknowledgeable/unprofessional employee, but I just let it go. Then I received an internal survey to rate my overall experience a couple of days later, and I rated it a 6 out of 10. I thought this was fair, because the gym itself is nice and clean, but my only experience with needing an employee's help was a poor one. Keep in mind it wasn't a public review like this one is, it was just an internal survey. A few days after that, the assistant manager, Jarren called, and wanted to know why I only gave them a 6 so he could try to fix it. I was a bit surprised, because it wasn't a terrible rating, and I hadn't complained, but he really wanted to address it anyway. Jarren was super professional and friendly, and just went above and beyond trying to make this very minor thing better. I wasn't even expecting a phone call, much less this level of attentiveness!! So Jarren single handedly transformed my view of the gym. I'm very pleased, and can see why he's in management. Good job, Jarren!

Clean facility, all the way down to locker room and showers. That goes a long way and stands out beyond other locations. Friendly staff and never any hassle. All you need to get a good workout. Not for heavy iron bangers as a main gym, but can be a convenient cheap secondary option for them as well.

We’ve been coming here for about a year. The thing we like about the membership is that the facility is on top of their equipment. A lot of competitors charge the same rate and don’t keep up their equipment. Members are considerate of others and don’t hog equipment too. Glad we joined.

I love that PF isn’t crowded with overly aggressive people! Also enjoy the vast variety of of machines and ways to work out, the cleanliness.
Had to edit due to endless people ( these people have no clue they are impeding everyone else’s work out-truly oblivious to actual Circuit participants) in the circuit area that sit on the machines and chat. I did talk to management about the issue, was told to let staff know and they’d take care of it

It's a good place to work at they a 30 minute limit so everyone can get a chance to do certain activities but when you walk To thoes Doors, leave your egos there and don't complain.
