Michael, the founder of Respire®, is an MSU Kinesiology graduate holding certifications in personal training, nutrition, corrective exercise, a USA Boxing coaching license, and is a Proteus® motion ambassador. He believes optimal fitness comes from nourishing and moving the body, fostering appreciation for the nutrition-movement connection to optimize physical potential.

Before I started training with Respire, I had many issues and imbalances. In a short amount of time training with Respire, I started to see results. Over time, I increased a considerable amount of muscle mass and fat loss. Fast forward to today, and now I'm completing several Spartan races in a year. Highly recommend Respire. He'll help you achieve whatever your goals are whether that be bodybuilding, losing weight...etc. Also, try out his HIIT classes!

Amazing training! Not only did I get a full schedule on what workouts to do but I was also set up with a detailed meal plan! I am 3 weeks in and am loving my results! I would highly recommend! Finding Austin late last year was the best thing that could have happened to me. Before the initial consult was over, I knew he was my guy. Having suffered back injuries in the past, I was a bit scared to get back in the gym, but he knew exactly what to do to get me back to where I was pre-injury. He's motivating, inspiring, and caring. I can't recommend him enough!

I've been training with Mike for almost 2 years and I couldn't be more pleased. Mike has expertise in both addressing chronic muscle tightness & spasms and physical training. Whatever training you're looking for, Mike is the person. He customizes his workouts to achieve the outcomes. His personal attention is AMAZING and he forms relationships with his athletes. I have 2 teenagers - both athletes - going to Mike and won't consider anyone else at this point. They're in different sports and he uses different approaches based on what the kids need and can handle. If you have a teenage athlete that's new to weights - highly recommend a trainer like Mike to show them how to do it properly. He's an amazing individual and my kids look to him for emotional preparation for big races/events. Mike believes in mental preparation as much as the physical. Can't say enough great things about him!

I have trained with Michael for 8 months now. At 62, I am finding that a lot of limitations I have are not because of age but for lack of training. Using functional movement analysis, he is systematically attacking my physical weaknesses one by one. I am getting stronger, limber and fitter than ever. He provided nutritional counseling to go with the training. Best part, it is fun and varied. Incorporating boxing and other sports into the training takes away the boredom I have experienced with other trainers.

Mike's workouts are trans-formative. The group classes are where I started and they took me to a level that I moved to one-on-one sessions. At 51, after Mike's training, my body looked the best it ever had. Now I do workouts on my own with what Mike taught and join the group classes 3 times a week to keep the endurance gains and general fitness.
