The most incredible hot yoga ever. I’ve gone to multiple hot yoga studios and have never found one like this. You sweat every toxin out of your body. I go to ASU and have yet to find a yoga studio that gets this hot in phx. Every time I’m in Tucson I come back and remember why I love it so much.

I’ve gone to a few classes here and each has been such a welcome challenge. You’ll get a blend of the hot 26, vinyasa, power, and yin. They have showers and plenty of space for your belongings and the instructors are confident and experienced. For anyone who is new to practicing yoga in a hot room, please be sure to hydrate fullt for at least 2-4 hours before practicing. The room tends to be 105 degree or hotter, which can feel like 120 with the humidity and body heat. This studio definitely gets hot!

We came for a private session with a group of 8 and Nikki was amazing! You can tell she loves what she does. I was feeling under the weather and she got me feeling good! 10/10 would recommend!

I have gone to multiple studios but none compare to this studio. Everyone is so welcoming and talented. Nikki goes out of her way to treat everyone with kindness and love. I went from buying drop ins to purchasing a monthly membership. Since going to this studio I have become much stronger and have grown to love the body that allows me to participate in this practice.

Spacious studio (which by no fault of other hot yoga studios is uncommon.) Bathroom, showers, really everything is always clean. Community is very welcoming and encouraging, and as a recent newcomer, I always felt welcome regardless of skill level or ability. Traditional practice with modifications and alternatives offered. Definitely have found somewhere I'll stay long-term. Check them out for a great workout and judgement free environment!

If you're visiting and trying to decide which studio to attend this was more exercise class than yoga. It may have just been an off day. Room was a bit dirty. The transitions between posses were clunky for a standardized flow, they just didn't make much anatomical sense in the flow. And lastly as a teacher it really bothered me that during shavasana the instructor dropped the wet towel down next to each student rather than quietly placing it so as not to make noise or splatter you during your meditation. I did get a work out though but would not attend again.

Feeling Stressed?? Roots Hot Yoga instructors teach classes all day long to melt your troubles away. I typically go to the 6:00am. It is the perfect way to both relax and move toward better focus for the start of a purposeful day. Love it!!

I’ve been going to this studio for over a year. Great staff that share the love for yoga. Showers included which can be helpful if you want to hit a yoga session before work. Also they have classes spread out throughout the whole day pretty much everyday of the week so you can find one around your schedule.

They have excellent COVID precautions. Everyone is spaced 6 feet apart by floor markers in the studio. They clean the floor between each class. There's sanitizer available in the studio. The instructors are great. The vibe isn't intimidating. Music is good. Heat is perfect. Great place to practice.

LOVE Sumits Yoga! I have been practicing here for almost four years now, and I look forward to going every week. The studio is very clean, and the instructors are all very friendly and passionate about teaching yoga. If you know you love yoga or you are interested in trying GO TO SUMITS YOGA!

After many year not doing yoga, I was super excited to try Sumits. I went on Saturday at 10. The class was full and hot. The teacher went out of her way to introduce herself and ask if I had any questions. The class was intense. I know from experience, the more you go the more adapted to the heat you become. I was so happy I did this class, when it was over! The studio is clean. Bathrooms have shower, toiletries and cubbies for items. There is a small shopping area, with mats, towels and yoga clothes. I really appreciated that Sumit is active in giving back to the community. When I went, several none profits were listed and by taking a class...added to their donation. I was surprised by the variety of people who attend. Lots of men of all ages. Women of all ages. Teens. All abilities. The schedule changes on occasion but they offer several morning classes. Afternoon and evening classes. Not all are yoga. They incorporate strength building classes also. Classes for a drop in are $16. I bought a 10 pack for $120. Bringing down my cost per class to $10. The sweat and workout are not comparable to any other fitness class. From the deep detoxification that last hours after class. To the calming and renewal sensation that I left with and carried all day. You need to bring a towel, yoga mat, water and dress in yoga gear if u have it. Short and a tank top will work. They do rent some items if you dont have them already.

Sumits is an amazing hot yoga studio! The studio is very clean and the teachers are knowledgeable and passionate about the practice! The community is wonderful and provides the perfect atmosphere for yoga. The heat helps to loosen up your muscles and provide the perfect workout without cardio!! They have so many classes during the week so you will be able to fit yoga into any busy schedule!!

Beautiful place conveniently located in the middle of town. Went to a Sunday Yin Yoga class and was a bit let down. If you wanna do some Yin Yoga to loud Enya and loud classical music... this is the place for you but if not I'd recommend you skip the Sunday Yin Yoga class. I was expecting real chill and mellow ambient/new age music... but instead reviewed the aforementioned music above. It was hard for me to really de-stress which is what I look forward to in a Yin yoga class. Also, it was $16 for a walk-in class... the experience that I got from Sunday's class I don't think merited the asking price.

Sumits Yoga Tucson is the best yoga studio I have ever been to. I have been practicing at Sumits for 4 years and though I have tried MANY other studios I always come back to Sumits. I originally started yoga to strengthen my back after a few back issues and I fell in love. Sumits stands out because each instructor cares about each student individually. Whether it is to challenge or to help, the instructors genuinely care about everyone’s needs, strengths and weaknesses. I am so thankful for Sumits and the positive mindset it leaves me with every time I practice. Whether you’re looking to increase strength and flexibility, a good workout or a stress reliever Sumits is the place to go!

This is my absolute favorite studio here in Tucson, AZ. I aim to practice there at LEAST 4 times a week and it truly has impacted my life in such a positive manner! By no means did I ever think yoga would become such a big part of my life and despite not being the best at it, it really is a judgement free zone. All levels are welcomed and it shows because the instructors really walk you through every step without neglecting an individual. Additionally, not only is the studio SUPER clean and serene inside, it's an overall great environment! The staff is beyond kind and are there to accommodate you 100% of the time. There have been numerous times I will be running late and will have forgotten something and the person at the front desk gives it to me no questions asked so I can start my class without feeling flustered! They trust their customers to come after the class and pay the very small fee without pushing you to do it right then and there. I highly encourage you to come and try a class out for yourself because it's amazing! I hope to see you there!!

Sumits Tuscon is by far one of my favorite places to practice yoga. As someone who has been practicing for almost 8 years, the vibe at Sumits Yoga Tucson is unlike any other! I started at a Scottsdale location years ago and loved it. Moving to Tucson for college, I then found this location. As soon as I walk through the front door everyone is so welcoming and inviting, there’s not a single time I’ve left the studio without talking to the lovely staff members. I would highly suggest trying it if you have ever had a glimpse of wonder about yoga. You won’t be disappointed!

I've never liked "hot yoga" before I came to this place, and I've been doing yoga for years. Now I just want to do yoga daily, because I prefer Vinyasa to Bikram. The first couple classes are a challenge if you aren't used to the heat. You're rewarded with a cold towel at the end of class that is amazing! After my first month I'm so much stronger, and have more energy as well. Pricing is average, and they offer several classes and other options. The owner and staff are all wonderful people, and welcoming to everyone.

I'm a longtime ashtanga yoga practitioner who has also been doing an almost daily Bikram practice for two years. I was in Tucson visiting for a week, and the local studio that does the traditional Bikram sequence was moving locations and was closed. Sumits seemed to be the only hot yoga not using a lot of music, so I went there to try it. I am so glad I did! The studio is beautiful, and they handle the heating just right, getting it challengingly hot, but opening the doors at just the right moment. I loved the sequence, which was a wonderful mix of Bikram and ashtanga postures. It was challenging, but accessible to anyone. I had four different teachers while there, and all were wonderful--engaged and encouraging, attentive to everyone in the room. Best of all, they give you a cold towel with peppermint oil on it and the end for sivasana--heaven!!It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this studio to anyone, beginning yogis through experienced.

I love Sumits! Even during these hot summer days I crave the heat and humidity the studio provides and after just two weeks I started to see amazing results from consistently going to class. I've been loving my Sumit's yoga experience. Yes, it's hot. Yes, you sweat and it feels great!! Allows me to do poses that are uncomfortable in a cold room (yes, I think a 72* room to practice yoga in is too cold!!!) The instructors are super friendly and accommodating. Showers are there for those who want to get in and need to head elsewhere right afterwards. They've even graciously provided a hair dryer so you don't have to haul your own. Hopefully they can continue to provide that. Some boutique items available for sale and mats/towels are available for rent. Try it....you just might find you really enjoy it!
