Sessions is Amazing! The classes and teachers are dynamic and make you feel incredible within just one hour. I am so grateful I found this studio. There are many options of teachers and consistent practice times. The energy at this studio is high, fun and friendly.

This is a Tucson classic and it never disappoints. Warm power flows with strong instructors. There is also something magical about the space. Thanks Session!

Today I attended my fourth class at session yoga. The quality of the class was excellent, As for the first three. However, I will most likely never returned. Today I was in a packed room next to somebody who coughed a wet cough and was clearly still getting over being sick. The whole class I was tense and uncertain if I should leave. I cannot afford to get sick because of someone else being very inconsiderate and coming to class with a cough. Unfortunately, I have the kind of mind that counts, and this person cost at least 30 or 40 times during the class. not only is the noise disruptive, but even more of a Concern is whether or not the wet and Biscus cough residue is contagious. Since I am less than 3 feet Away, I am not foolish enough to think that I did not inhale any of the droplets.
The entire class I was tense and could not get my mind off when would be the next cough, and whether or not I should leave or stay and if I chose to stay, would I get sick. I just can't believe someone would come to class and think it's OK to cough. The person tried to subdue the cough and so it wasn't that loud, but I couldn't ignore the hacking quality to it and the fact that every time I started to relax and get into the mindset of hot yoga, I would be interrupted with another cough and the thoughts that I explained above.
After the class, I did approach the teacher and mentioned that I was concerned about the coughing. I told her that I was concerned about getting sick and that I really hoped I wouldn't get sick. She said absolutely nothing to me and just smiled and nodded her head. I started to leave, so I turned around and realized I had dropped one of my socks. So unbeknownst to her and her friend who had earlier checked me in, they were making faces behind my back and when I suddenly turned around, they were busted. They both looked very embarrassed because they had Immature grins on their faces. I chose not to say anything to them, but they know that what they did was extremely unprofessional. I was in no way mean or rude when I mentioned the coughing. I know that I am totally in the right and some sort of response acknowledging my concern would have been appropriate.
I am probably one of the most nicest tolerant people there are in public settings, but I will not keep quiet when my health is at Risk because someone is so inconsiderate that they need to come to yoga class with a hacking cough.

I’m in town for the gem show and just took my first yoga class at this studio. My instructor Kaitlyn led the perfect early morning class with a great blend of movement and meditation. Plus her playlist was fire which is always welcomed surprise. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to take another tomorrow!

I’ve taken 4 classes here from 4 different instructors, and have loved 3 of the 4 classes - Mari’s was my favorite! The flow was challenging but accessible, she cued multiple variations, and she had clearly put a lot of thought and intention into the flow and playlist. Things I’ve noted about the studio are that a) the flows here tend to favor a LOT of chaturangas in short succession within the first few minutes - just know that going in if you’re not expecting a power flow! b) the classes can get suuuuper packed for such a small room. That being said, the price point is such a steal for the quality of classes! If I lived in Tucson, this would be my home studio. It’s a really welcoming environment!

Always extremely packed with people that you don't have space to do the poses properly. There's not even space for the teacher, who just says the poses you are supposed to do without showing them, and you have to rely on the others, which eventually causes a lot of confusion. Also the music is American pop and even rap, not meditative at all. This is not yoga, people should call it stretching or workouts class, but it would sell less... I would rather watch an online Yoga class.

We booked a class yesterday at the central location for the first time and signed up online and paid for it. Unfortunately we had quite a bad experience and will for sure not come back. First of all the instructor wasn’t very friendly or welcoming… we stood quite a while at the check in desk waiting for her to acknowledge us while she was looking into the computer.Secondly they packed over 34 people in this fairly small room. More and more people came in and we had to move our mats so close together we were actually touching the next person. If you have done yoga you know you need a bit of personal space and we surely didn’t appreciate feeling our neighbors sweat on us. You would think they would use the sign up system to close the class when it’s at capacity. We couldnt even do all the poses or moves because of lack of space which was not allowing us to get the full benefit of the 1 hour class since we were trying not to bump into the neighbor. All in all don’t recommend this studio at all. Very disappointing.

I went to Maya’s class this morning at the Foothills location and it was top notch. It was my first time in the studio and everyone was super welcoming, including other students. I instantly felt like a part of the community and I loved the friendly chatter before class.
Maya’s class was equally as lovely, it was super fun and I loved the music!
Also, the studio heat wasn’t stifling, but I still worked up a sweat.
Highly recommend ✨

Great location for military, great vibe, and reasonable pricing. However, they book way too many people in a class and it’s hard to do all the yoga poses when you’re packed in like sardines.

I really liked the place the first time I went, but I’ve been about 5 times now and notice the trend now. This is not your relaxing yoga environment as you wait for class to begin. Seems everyone just wants to chat with their friends, loudly, and the instructors/owner don’t want to enforce a more meditative environment prior to class. It just takes a little effort, signs, commenting as you sign people in to please provide a quiet environment once entering the studio, dim lights, etc. People are even so rude as to continue talking as the instructors are trying to start class, which to an extent they cannot control, but a little effort would go a long way, such as reminding participants as they join the class to please be quiet and you won’t have to get everyone’s attention over the loud chatter.
The instructors have all been very kind and welcoming. Classes are a li

I love this place so much! I was really nervous, and hesitant to enter a yoga studio, but this place is so inviting and non-judgemental. EVERYBODY is so loving, and encouraging, and they genuinely care about helping people. I've been recovering from previous back injuries and I couldn't have found a better place. Yoga has helped so much in my healing journey, and in gaining strength!!!! Game changer 💯💯💯

I have been coming to Session for at least 6 years and it is still the best part of my day when I can make it to class. All of the teachers are genuine and kind . You make the practice as intense as you want it to be in this non-competitive environment. You see a variety of age, size and ability and everyone feels welcome here. At $7 a class you will see why it's usually packed. It's an awesome deal! It would cost upwards of 15 to $20 in other states. My friends that visit cannot believe how affordable it is ! Chelsea the owner has started a safe studio progect which means hands off unless you have a little card by your mat that says you are open to assistance from the instructor. I love this place and the Session community ❤️

I love attending hot power yoga at Session. I feel like the classes are challenging and make me feel like I got a good strength workout, but I also leave very relaxed. Whether I am attending after a stressful day, because I want a workout, or because I feel sore and need to do yoga, I get a lot out of the class. There is ample parking in the lot and everyone is really positive. I also like that it is cost-effective, with different options available for passes.

Fell in love with Session Yoga on first sight at my first class there. Stumbling upon this place has truly been life changing and I could not be more grateful to the teachers there. If you're completely new to yoga, the basics class on Sundays is a good place to start, but I like that all of their classes are suitable for all ability levels! I also love their new eastside location by Speedway and Craycroft where you can practice yoga at sunrise or sunset on their open air deck. So peaceful!

More than just a beautiful and inviting studio, Session is an incredible community. The classes taught here are safe, fun, and powerful. If you love sweaty, breath centered flows, Session is definitely the place for you. And if heat is not your thing, come check out the open air classes on Session Eastside’s gorgeous yoga deck!

If you're looking for the best power vinyasa studio in AZ, Session is 100% where it's at. With some of the most talented and genuine instructors, Session embodies what yoga should be about in all aspects. Although every class is consistently great, I HIGHLY recommend taking a class taught by Dove and/or Chelsea (owner) - both SERIOUSLY extraordinary humans and instructors.

Session Yoga provides an atmosphere that, for me, felt like home since the first time I stepped into the studio. It is warm and inviting and above all provides a safe space to move, change and practice. Additionally, Session School of Yoga Teacher Training was an invaluable experience, providing me with the tools to grow my practice and teach others. I would certainly recommend this studio to all!

Session is my yoga home and I love it! Chelsea has created a beautiful, upbeat, positive, and welcoming space for anyone who wants to practice yoga, regardless of level of experience. Classes are consistently great, with well-trained instructors. The Saturday classes with Dove will light your fire, wring you out, and fill you up, for sure!!! If you want hot flow yoga, there's no better studio in Tucson. And, their retreats are amazing. My husband and I went to Costa Rica with Chelsea and Dove earlier this year. They put together a really thoughtful and transformational program of meditations, yoga sessions, and activities that we'll never forget. You can't miss with Session!!!

I have been doing yoga around town for a number of years at this point and I found Session to be one of the best. The studio space is inviting and the teachers are very friendly. It is one of the few places that truly encourage their students to create their own practice. Every teacher I have taken class from definately knows what they are talking about, which is important to me.
Plus their deals for UA students and monthly passes are insanely cheap.
Session has it all!

As a student and yogi who has grown my practice at Session for 3 years, this studio is so incredibly special to me. It's very rare for a studio to consistently provide powerful and intense classes that challenges every yogi in the room, regardless of their ability. Every instructor gives their own unique spin to the very structured flow, but every time I leave my mat it feels like I've rediscovered my practice and I fall in love all over again. Chelsea and Kristin have built a studio and community on the foundation of the non-judgmental mind and that your practice is yours, there is no gain in comparing yourself to anyone else in the room. Not to mention they are incredibly generous to students and make it more than affordable for college kids on a budget to stay with their practice. Session Yoga is worth more than five stars and I'm so blessed to be a part of such a loving, beautiful and powerful community.

I discovered Session Yoga just over a year ago and have never looked back. The teachers, the studio, the vibe, the essence (whatever you want to call it) is amazing. I had been tinkering with the idea of joining a yoga studio for a few months to help with my anxiety and to also get in shape. I did some yoga back home in Florida, but I was really apprehensive considering I haven't been physically active in about a year due to an injury. I dropped in for Kristin's Monday night class and I immediately fell in love with Session Yoga. All of the instructors that I've had the pleasure to meet are super friendly and they are very helpful. The facility is beautiful and it's in a great location. There's plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable and they even have supplies for rent if you happen to leave your stuff at home. Their membership program is an amazing deal and considering the quality of the instructors, the atmosphere and the excellent physical challenge that the facility offers. What's not to love?
