I really enjoyed taking my first Spenga class! I'm new to these type of classes. Second time doing a spin class. It was challenging but the music and the positive energy from the instructor Challisa kept me going! The variety was very unique. 20 minutes of 3 different activities which I enjoyed. It's a state of the art
building and workout room. Taylor at the front desk was very helpful in introducing me around. I will definitely be taking more classes. Such a great workout. Highly recommend to others to try!

Wow what a great workout and amazing atmosphere as well. It was my first time doing any kind of exercise class in years so I was a bit anxious on what to expect especially coming by myself, but as soon as I walked in I felt so comfortable and welcomed by front desk and the instructor. The instructor took her time explaining to me how the class would go and welcoming me and that really helped. Overall I loved my class and Will continue to come back, I recommend this to anyone wanting to push themselves but afraid to take the step, do it, you won’t regret it!

64 year old guy here. Never liked gyms; the smell, poseurs, ‘music’. However it’s necessary at some point. SPENGA is clean and not a place for testosterone-poisoned people—a major positive for SPENGA.

It provides (at a price) a clean reasonable place to get cardio, a weight bearing workout, and stretching done in one workout lead by staff. If you’re an introvert like me, wear earplugs.

The workout: 20 minutes spin, 20 minutes resistance with 3-4 sets of upper or lower body (weights or body weight if necessary) and finally 20 minutes of yoga. 👍🏻

the only reason this is not a 5 star review is that Spenga needs to have all instructors pay attention to the individuals proper form on the weight floor. The only instructor that does this is Chavonne. The others show you the exercise then walk up and down the center aisle but do not correct individuals on improper form. Chavonne does an excellent job correcting improper form, and does so explaining the reasons while actually assisting, thereby improving the overall experience, confidence and safety. Along with the joy and energy she brings I rate the experience with Chavonne as 5++ !.

We to a class a few weeks ago with some friends. The facility and studio are very nice, clean, and well kept. They have lockers (that don’t require a personal lock) and private bathrooms with small toiletries to freshen up with after class. The studio space is separated from the entrance/lockers. It is very large and spacious with the spin bikes in the front, weight area in the middle, and mats in the back. All equipment is provided.

The staff/instructors were so nice, welcoming, and gave a tour of the space, a rundown of how the class works, and what to expect. They made sure my friends and I were all set up on our bikes and that we understood what to look for and monitor during our spin series.

The workout itself was excellent. Instruction and atmosphere was energetic, exciting, and challenging. I highly recommend this studio!

The only downside is it is so far from home. I wish they would open a studio on the Eastside of town!!

I’m spending the winter in Tucson and wanted to find a place to exercise. I popped into SPENGA and was welcomed with open arms. I haven’t been to a gym since Covid hit and I was apprehensive. I’m 66 years old and wasn’t sure if I could do it. The 20 minutes of spin, 20 minutes of strength and 20 minutes of yoga is perfect. I’m absolutely loving the classes. I’m attending twice a week. I absolutely love this place. The workout is the perfect mix of spin, strength, and yoga. The studio is clean and the instructors are fantastic & so friendly. I don’t feel judged at all, which is very different than some other group classes I’ve been in, and that’s very refreshing.

I was a little nervous but everyone from the front desk to the instructors were very friendly and knowledgeable. The instructor knew I was new and explained to me how to use my bike and the flow of how the class would work. Spinning, strength training, and yoga.
The only thing that I can say negative is for me I needed more one with the strength training. I was confused on the reps per minute & transitioning into a new exercise.

Spenga gets it right. 20 minutes bike, 20 minutes weights, 20 minutes yoga. Perfect. I’m 50, and after 45 years of abusing my body in boxing, football, basketball, soccer, etc.; it’s time to start working out for my health, reducing the abuse on my knees and joints - and increasing my flexibility and strength. Boom. Spenga. Not sure what the word stand for, but to me, it means Awesome.
