Hi, I’m TJ. I’ve spent over 20 years in the fitness industry, working with all types of people and body types. I believe everyone is unique, and I love getting to know each person I work with.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a minor in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University, along with a certification from the International Sports Sciences Association.
For me, fitness is more than a physical pursuit—it’s a journey of self-discovery and growth. I firmly believe that faith, family, and fitness are the pillars upon which we build our lives and achieve our goals.

Tj is a great trainer. When I first started, I never expected to find myself wanting to workout more than two days a week, but tj pushes me to new heights every day. He’s become more like a brother to me now. If you’re concerned about the type of atmosphere, put your mind at ease. He’s super easy going and helps in every aspect of the mind, body, and sometimes even helps with the soul. But don’t just take my word for it, you can start with simple consultations with him and get started at no cost. Those solidifying consultations really made me feel relaxed and that his sessions were more like a friend helping a friend, rather than a contractual obligation. I’d rate him an 6/5 if I could!

Been going to see TJ for awhile now and I tell everyone about him! He is amazing at what he does and connects with each one of his clients. Even when I bring someone with me, he knows exactly what they need compared to me. I am a business woman and I never leave reviews unless I know it’s an amazing person and business. Go see him if you are serious and want someone committed to helping you reach your fitness goals!

TJ has helped me with workouts in person and with workouts to do from afar. He has also helped with ideas on meal plans. I always enjoy when I get to work out in his gym even if I am sore for days after a workout lol!

Coach Tj is great! He’s very educated in what he does and doesn’t push you past what you’re capable of. I’m new to strength training so in the beginning it was difficult for me but coach recognized that and modified my training. I appreciate his support to help me live a healthier lifestyle!

I have been working out with TJ Temper Training 3 days a week. I have worked out my whole adult life, I’m 67 years old. With TJ’s personal training I was able to go from a size 12 to a size 6! With all my work outs in the past my clothing size never changed! I am SO GRATEFUL to TJ Temper for his EXCELLENT Training! I highly recommend TJ to get yourself back in shape. I'm 56yo and TJ keeps me motivated to push through any doubts I have about what is physically possible. I am about 4 weeks in and I can already see results. I am stronger and have more endurance. And--I look better hanging out by the pool. I'm excited to see what happens after 6 months! Honestly the best investment I've made in a long time!

I had never used a personal trainer before TJ, but decided to give him a try after doing some research and am glad I did! TJ has motivated me to work out regularly and I look forward to my sessions with him. He cares about my success, tailors my workouts to my goals, and is a great guy all around (he also has great taste in music!). I’m in my second month of training with him, and can’t believe how much better I feel and how much my body has already changed in that short amount of time. If you’re on the fence, give TJ a call - you (and your body) will be happy you did!

Tj is very knowledgeable in what he does. He cares for each one of his clients and creates a goals and plans for workout. He listen to you and does not push you if you feel like you’re over doing it. I been working out with him for almost two years and can’t wait to be back in his gym when I get released from the dr. he taught me how to lift weights the correct way and explain what muscle should we be feeling it in. I highly recommend him!! He awesome and so fun to work out with

My first time ever going to the gym and having a personal trainer and TJ was fantastic and it has been almost a year going to him already. He targets my problem areas and alters the exercise to accommodate my level. His monthly progress check keeps me aligned with my personal progress and I see results every month. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else but TJ! He has a warm welcoming environment and will push you to do better every day! TJ has made me become a better person mentally and physically!!!

This was my first trainer experience and it did not disappoint, it set expectations! Originally I began going with the intention of keeping myself accountable, once I had a good routine I was going to go on my own. TJ gave me personalized training that met my individual needs. I wanted to lose weight, increase strength, and do so in a way that I didn’t have to spend all my time in the gym. TJ didn’t waste any time and we moved quickly from set to set. He’s also incredibly personable and truly cares about his clients and their health, no matter what health stage they’re at.
