I’ve been coming to True Hot Yoga for almost a decade, and after years of traveling for work and visiting studios across AZ, CA, MO, and TX, I can confidently say this is my favorite yoga studio anywhere.
If you love a truly hot class, you’ll be in heaven here — the heat and intensity are perfect. That said, if you prefer things a little cooler, there are spots near the door that are more comfortable, and some instructors offer slightly cooler classes, so there’s something for everyone.
The teachers are fantastic — knowledgeable, welcoming, and they play amazing music (my second favorite part of class!). The combination of heat, movement, and energy is incredibly therapeutic. You don’t have to be super flexible either — just come as you are, and you can always modify as needed.
The community here is also wonderful — I’ve met some amazing friends over the years. If you’re on the fence about trying hot yoga, just go for it! You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.

This place has been my main form
of self care since 2020. Teachers have been the same the whole time and consistently top tier with music choice, professionalism and vibe creation. Heidi and Gina are my go to girls but the owner Patty is great too she keeps her classes HOT.

I like doing hot yoga at True Hot Yoga! I think the owner, Patty, is very kind and welcoming and wants people to enjoy their experience. I love that they offer a 60 minute class and have early classes 7 days a week. I always leave feeling light, happy, and clearheaded. Definitely recommend!!

I have had a great experience except for today. A teacher named Jessica Hunter threw a towel at me. I am not sure what that was about. Would recommend other classes but this was strange and aggressive.

Best in the area. Heidi is my favorite instructor though all instructors are awesome. Due to a tragedy in my family, I had to step back however I look forward to attending class when I’m ready.

My mom and I have come to True Hot Yoga for years—it's a true sanctuary in Scottsdale and I always leave feeling energized and ready for whatever the day throws at me.

For my mom's birthday this year I requested a private yoga class for her and her cousin. Patty, the owner, went way above and beyond to make sure the class was special and absolutely personalized for my mom - from the music, to inspirational quotes - and led a class that my mom just raved about all day. It's personal touches and care like this that make a business truly special and make people feel part of a true community.

Great workout and and studio! It’s definitely a hot yoga practice, pulling from bikram. Good, knowledgeable and friendly instructors and very kind owner. They definitely ensure you are taking ample breaks if need be, many people in class do,
don’t be scared to give hot yoga a try. 🔥

80 mins sounds like a long class but once you are in there time flies by! The instructors a guide new students and save them a spot by the door until they swttle into the routine. The poses help to strengthen the core and make a difference in as little as 3-4 days!
My reason for giving it 4 stars is because their last class is at 6pm, and sometimes it makes it difficult to get there on time, esp since I get off work at 5pm, but otherwise the studio is great! 👌🏼

I have never written a review before but I was so disappointed that I feel compelled to warn others! My friend purchased a Groupon and gave me one as a gift-yay! We were excited to mix things up for 2020! When we arrived the owner wouldn't allow my friend to use hers as she had purchased two Groupons previously when this location was Summit Yoga years ago. We had no idea that the location had just changed names. Nowhere on the Groupon does it say that there is a 2 Groupon lifetime maximum for both True Hot and Summits. We then asked to apply the $27 Groupon amount towards a $20 drop-in class. Unfortunately, she would not allow us to do that. The only option was to pay another $20 or purchase a 10 class pass together at the regular price and apply the Groupon. I was shocked that the owner refused to honor the Groupon. Luckily, Groupon stands behind their customers and immediately refunded my friend her money.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here today. I purchased a Groupon for a 10-Class package, went to redeem it, & was told that I had previously purchased two Groupons and was not allowed to use it. I have not been to this studio in years (Groupon doesn't even show a previous purchase, it was so long ago), and I think the last time I went it was called Summit Yoga. Fine print on the Groupon says that you cannot have an active class package, cannot have been a client within the last 12 months, and cannot purchase more than 2. Unfortunately, it does not say anything about having purchased Groupons for the studio when it was Summit Yoga (I had no idea they were the same thing), or that you cannot purchase more than 2 in your lifetime. I was trying to reason with the owner and just apply my paid value to a drop in class (where I would have lost money, Groupon was $27 and drop in was $20), but the only option she was giving me was to purchase a 10-Class Pass, for over $100. All I wanted to do was try the class, hadn't been in years and thought it might be something I would now enjoy. If I thought the Groupon was something I was not allowed to purchase and use, I would have just done a drop in class for $20 originally. Thankfully, Groupon understood this was not acceptable and gave me a full refund. Will not be returning to this studio.

My first class was fantastic. I left with the same happy feeling of accomplishment I get from an hour at the gym, with the added benefit of feeling like I helped heal and nurture my body, instead of tear it down by ripping and running at the gym.

Very disappointed today as I still had 4 sessions (which are not cheap) and the lady at the front counter told me that they expired and wasn't willing to work with me. This wasn't a Groupon purchase, I bought one of their packages. I think if they were willing to work with me I would have ended up buying another package once I used my remaining classes but this just left a bad taste in my mouth about their policies.

** Update **
My hubby convinced me to call back and double check that policy with a manager. Turns out that's not the case. I didn't even speak to a manager. The lady who answered the phone (Hayden) apologized and confirmed that package classes do not expire. She was very nice and reinstated my classes. I'm super excited about that because I've enjoyed going there for years and look forward continuing my practice.

LOVE! Found via groupon, had a great class, the amenities are very well kept, the place is clean and perfect for hot yoga. Clients are respectful, front desk is friendly...Krissy lead a great class. I can't wait to go back for more!
