I absolutely love Vinyasa Fit. They have an amazing staff of diverse and knowledgable instructors. I have been practicing yoga at Vinyasa Fit for almost 10 months and have gained so much strength not only physically but spiritually and emotionally as well. Every time I leave the studio I have an overwhelming sense of peace and empowerment. Vinyasa Fit has classes for EVERYONE from fast paced Hot Buti to slow and restorative True Roots. I can't say enough how great this place is. I love belonging to a community that promotes kindness and individuality and FUN!

I stumbled upon Vinyasa Fit while searching for a Yoga studio on my vacation to AZ. I left the VFit class wishing I had a class like what I just experienced back home in CT. From the moment I walked into the door, I was welcomed by Paige and other members as if we all practiced together before. The studio is beautiful and clean with a subtle essence of lavender and peppermint. They are a generous studio offering a free trial week, as well as a mat and towels to practice with. The practice itself was a smooth flow with weights. After practice, I met the owner who was gracious, grateful and welcoming. Thank you to everyone at Vinyasa Fit!

I am using the following from the last 6-24 months as points of reference:
Bikrams Yoga College of India in Phoenix, AZ (10-20 times) 4 Stars
The Biltmore Studio in Phoenix, AZ (4-5 times) 4 Stars
Mountainside Fitness in North Valley, AZ (50+ times) 5 Stars
CorePower Yoga Highland and Trolley Square in Salt Lake City, UT (20-30 times) 5 Stars
Bend Hot Yoga in Prescott, AZ (Once) 4 Stars
Vinyasa Fit Hot Yoga in Prescott Valley, AZ (3-5 times) 2 Stars
Some of these are hot; while some are not. Some of the aforementioned studios are very modern and up to date with many amenities; while some are basic and rely solely on good instruction and a warm nurturing environment. In my opinion, whatever the collective result, for the most part they do not fail to provide the client with a full sense of the experience. Even the studio at Mountainside Fitness, a gym, provided it's clients with spiritually supportive and sensitive instructors.
I attended my first class at Vinyasa Fit and walked away feeling there was something contrived or superficial about the practice. I could not however pass the responsibility of MY practice onto someone else and decided to return to take advantage of the very generous free week offer to first time clients. There was some improvement with the variation in instructors, and maybe it was just that day, or just me. They did offer a very nice up to date studio. If you've ever been there, you know they've clearly invested some time and energy into making the place look great!
I really wanted to make an informed decision and the following week I attended a class at Bend. Immediately, I felt more at home, more welcomed. The facility isn't as modern necessarily but, that to me pales in comparison to the warmth of the individuals I'm sharing such intimate space with.
Still, Vinyasa fit offers a base $75/month membership with autopay and a 3 month commitment. Since I just recently moved here and am still trying to nail down employment, my resources are limited and this WAS the best deal. Yoga is a necessity. To me, it's what's turned day to day living from a chore into (although sometimes painful and challenging) a desireable journey. It might as well go on the grocery list as another form of sustenance. I was trying to deduce with Sara, the best way to pay for classes under my current "transitional" situation and got into a debate about their policy. You can pay for three months $225. However, if I had to leave early, and could only stay two months, they would charge me $240. This is at the month to month rate of $120. I asked her why would you charge me an extra $15 dollars just because I couldn't make it to classes, even though I'm still honoring the financial commitment. She then told me if I chose not to tell them I was no longer here; that would be up to me and my own personal moral judgement. This is not verbatim, it's a basic recollection of the conversation. I just felt...well it certainly doesn't reflect the attitude or presence I have received in my travels over the last couple years in different states and studios.
I understand there are a lot of variables. Days, people, situations, whatever each individual may or may not be carrying...but I can't get around something there. It's been shared studies show that in yoga practice, our heart beats synchronize, line up. I think maybe sometimes it's best to be a little selective about who we "line up" with. There is a place for everyone; maybe that's just not the place for me. I'd say that if this is the first 2 star, out of all 4 and 5 star experiences, these are great odds.

The bad news is that I now have yet ANOTHER reason to try and move here full time! Vinyasa Fit is a beautiful hot yoga studio with great classes. The classes are extremely upbeat, well thought out, and well presented by the instructors. Sarah is, not only crazy young for a successful business owner, but she's a kick-ass yoga instructor. Thanks, all!!!

I have only been going for two weeks and have attended both the V-fit and the Express Flow. I have gotten several of my friends to come because I believe its an amazing way to get loose and it compliments other exercise routines. I have had both Baillie and Katy Kolasa as instructors and I give thumbs up yo! I even have my 13 year old son participating and he wants to get his entire wrestling team in for a session.

I loved that my sister-in-law made me feel guilty by not tagging along, but giving in and going with her to our first HOT YOGA session instructed by Baillie doing V-Fit, was the best thing ever. I haven't sweat like that since practicing volleyball in high school--10+ years ago. Baillie was an AWESOME instructor and hail to Sarah for including HOT BUTI into membership passes. Went to my first session yesterday and absolutely LOVED it. A little crowded but well worth the sweat. Definitely will be back, no doubt about that.
