Not only is Tyler a great trainer, he's a genuinely good dude. I've been working out with him for a little less than 3 months, and I have seen amazing results in my overall health and strength progression. His focus on form and educating his clients on the why behind what you're doing is super helpful and encouraging. The gym is super chill and always full of laughing and sweating. I cannot recommend his training services enough.

I always figured I could tackle fitness solo, how hard could it be, right? Enter Tyler. On day one, he showed me that my form was more ‘creative interpretation’ than ‘correct.’ We discussed my work out goals and worked around my injury limitations, and the man clearly knows his craft.

I have been using Tyler for 5 months now going twice a week and all I can say is that I am wildly impressed.

I started when I was recovering from a back injury and everything he’s had me do is spot on to help gain strength and get back to my outdoor activities.

His training is focused on full body strength and functionality, which is exactly what I need. My entire body is the strongest and tightest it’s been in years!

He gradually increases and changes the workouts depending where I’m at physically. He pushes me to the limits without overdoing it. I swear he knows my capabilities better than I do!

I cannot say enough good things about Tyler. He’s well educated. Knew exactly what I needed to meet my goals. He’s very upfront, honest and transparent with pricing. High value per dollar. Good communication and very respectful. Give him a try. He’s a great guy.

He helped put me back on the right path after feeling lost in the gym for a while.

I wanted to spend a few minutes to give a well deserved shout out to Tyler and Weader Performance. I am a female in my 50s and have experience with personal trainers. I’ve had a handful for a period of time long enough to know the ins and outs. Tyler is on top of the podium! My experience has been exemplary. We started at 1 session a week due to my schedule and amped it to 3 for the last several months. Tyler’s experience and passion for his craft is clear immediately. He shares the whys on the exercises and the rep count and is careful to adjust as needed when things pop up such as a tweaked knee or elbow! He is an excellent communicator and adjusts his approach as needed for each client as I observed. My sister visited and he was even able to help her solve a chronic arm issue with his knowledge of basic PT and how our muscles work together- incredible. If you wanted to up your game this year in physical strength or agility … Tyler will be the game changer!

I couldn't recommend Tyler enough after working with him for online training for the past 9 months. I've tried to develop good habits in fitness and training for years, and with Tyler's coaching, I was finally able to develop consistency and see meaningful results. Tyler has personalized my plan to accommodate a busy personal life as well as a busy career. He has incredible amounts of knowledge about fitness and takes the time to make sure you understand why things are important whether it's the workout, warms ups, etc. 10/10

I came to Tyler as a seasoned lifter and rugby player looking for mainly two things.
1) General athletic improvements
2) Specialized programming which reflected not only my sport, but the demands of the position I play (tighthead prop).

He delivered on both fronts. I have made drastic athletic improvements due to his programming. Not only that but my upper back has blown up which was a fun surprise! I have learned a lot about fitness and programming from him. He is incredibly detail oriented and willing to teach you everything you need to know to make you a success in your sport.

Tyler is the best strength coach I have ever met hands down!
He is determined to achieve results and change lives. Whatever your goal is he will get you there.
I spent 3 summers lifting with Tyler back in Rockville MD. The first summer I came in scrawny, almost last on my college team in lifting and running, but with tangible goals. Tyler created a program to push me in the gym and guide me with my eating habits. I lost ~6% body fat while gaining 15lbs of muscle in 3 months. I got back to school and didn’t just pass but crushed every lift and run test.
Summer #2 and #3 were about athleticism, mobility, and explosiveness. By the time I was a senior, I finished top 3 on the team in lifting and running.
This could not have been achieved without his expertise and guidance.

If there was a Personal Trainer Hall of Fame, Tyler Weader would be a 2024 first-ballot inductee. The man knows his stuff. After suffering a minor spinal herniation from poor squat/dead lifting form (bad), I tried a number of Google-inspired remedies to no avail. Within a 10 minute diagnostic conversation with Tyler, he understood exactly what was going on - some of which had more to do with my daily habits (sitting for long periods at work, standing more on one foot) than the exercise itself.

Following his plan for 1.5 weeks and I can touch my toes again (big time) with a rounded back and no pain. Truly can't thank him enough and worth every penny.

I've been seeing Tyler at Weader Performance for a few months now, and the results have been incredible. I started with a torn calf muscle and weighed well over 315 pounds. My knee issues were so severe that I couldn't walk up stairs without pain and had to wear knee braces just to play pickleball. Now, I haven't needed my knee braces for over a month while playing, and my game has improved significantly with more stamina, endurance, and quickness.

As a landscape photographer I came to Tyler to improve my strength and balance while hiking with a heavy backpack. The challenge for Tyler was that I am 67 and acting much younger. He has helped strengthen my back and we focused on the muscle groups to improve hiking. I feel much more confident in my abilities since working with Tyler. Tyler is the most fantastic coach out there. He has helped me tap into my discipline of consistency. Being a working professional it was easy to see the fact that I was losing my desire to workout. My main goal when I started with Tyler was to create a workout plan that included strength, conditioning and mobility. I was struggling to create a plan on my own that allowed me to accomplish all three areas. Tyler was able to create a workout plan at the gym I was going to that allowed me to accomplish all three areas each workout.

In terms of working with Tyler, the thing I appreciated most was his honesty. He was never trying to sell me something which I appreciated. If there was something that I didn't like about my plan, his response was "no problem. Let's figure out what you like." Another area that I liked working with Tyler was how quick he adjusted my plans. I asked Tyler if I could add some core to the beginning of my workout that wouldn't take up too much time. That day he updated my plan with exercises and instructional videos. I would give my experience with Tyler 5 stars. I've worked with him in-person and online. In both forms of coaching, he is easy to communicate with and knows how to meet you where you are while still challenging you physically and mentally.

Working with Tyler has been an incredible experience. In August of 2023, I suffered a ruptured patellar tendon while playing basketball, requiring surgery. At that point, I felt a sense of hopelessness, uncertain about my exercise, as basketball was my primary form of physical activity. However, as I started on my physical therapy journey, I reached out to Tyler, hoping he could assist me in developing a workout plan aimed at weight loss, muscle gain, and overall health improvement. Tyler exceeded my expectations. He not only provided a blueprint covering both workouts and nutrition but also went above and beyond by working directly with my physical therapist. This was to ensure that the exercises he made for me were aligned with my recovery objectives. Since beginning my work with Tyler, I've established consistent habits, hitting the gym 4-5 days a week and adopting a healthier diet. I've seen amazing progress from the gym and my recovery timeline has been accelerated because of the added work I put in with Tyler. On another note, my career in software sales frequently keeps me on the road. Tyler's support has been incredible here; he regularly checks in and offers advice on maintaining consistency while traveling. He even reviews the facilities at hotel gyms and tailors my workout plans based on what is available. Initially, I was skeptical about having an online trainer. I've only ever used in-person training because I felt I needed someone to push me, but Tyler has taught me how to push myself. Since starting with him, I've lost 20 lbs., and this is just the beginning. For anyone in search of a trainer who is as committed to your goals as you are and dedicated to your success, Tyler Weader is the clear choice.
