Last night, I felt a calm elevation. It was peaceful and grounding, the best way I can describe my experience during meditation and the different poses we practiced, along with the inhale and exhale of plant medicine. What stood out most was the invitation to acknowledge my intention for being there: to be open to the experience.

I’ve participated in this type of yoga before, but the environment this time was different. The space Gabrielle created allowed us to elevate while also connecting deeply with ourselves. As I moved into various positions, I took inventory of my body, identifying areas of tension, resistance, and discomfort. I began to ask myself: “What am I holding onto that causes this tension and discomfort?”

This inquiry led me to deeper reflections, which I won’t delve into here.

In that intimate space, we could set intentions. My intention was to be open. I had committed to entering this year with an open heart, a broad statement that could mean many things. Last night, another layer of that intention was revealed to me. I struggled with it—not just a little, but significantly. There was resistance, and I sat with it, laid with it, bent over with it, and breathed through it. Yet, it remained.

The revelation was clear: having an open heart means being open to receiving. I excel at giving but struggle with receiving, which I know is rooted in something from my past that I need to excavate. Part of this excavation involves putting myself in uncomfortable situations where I must receive.

So, I entered last night with an open heart, ready to embrace what lay before me. In doing so, I awakened in ways that felt uncomfortable, yet I understand that it is in this discomfort that life changes. This time, I have control over that change because I can only control myself. It’s time to confront the blockage I have around receiving.

Gabrielle shared something important before concluding the practice: to speak what we want. I realized that in declaring my desires, I must be willing to let go of many things—and that’s okay. I know, in my awareness, that flowers will bloom, waters will flow effortlessly, and the sweetness of spring will feel like pink Moscato. My path has always been sacred; I just never acknowledged it because I didn’t believe I was good enough.

That belief is a lie I’ve held onto for far too long. As we move into 2025, Tomika will carry the intention of an open heart and, in doing so, will finally be ready to receive all that is meant for me.

It was in this sacred palace at Yoga Hause that I encountered my exhale.

My first class at Yoga Hause’s Nu location was nothing short of an elevated experience from start to finish! Gabbi never fails when it comes to setting the ambiance, walking through the halls, it smelled Lyke heaven, leading me into a space filled with intention and peace.

Eye truly injoyed the elevations, but what touched my soul the most was witnessing four facilitators who look Lyke me holding space soul beYoutifully. The innerg, the alignment, the depth, it was powerfull!

Gabbi consistently curates top-tier experiences for her guests, and this was no exception. The wisdom shared by the local grower to the guidance on the mat, eye am impressed! Eye slept Lyke a baby afterward and am already looking forward to flowing moor in this sacred space.

If you’re looking for a yoga experience that nourishes the mind, body, and soul, Yoga Hause is the place to be!

Loved the mat pilates class and instructor, JoJo! I was in town for a work trip and decided to try their Sunday 8am Mat Pilates class. It is a BEAUTIFUL heated studio on an upper floor looking over the tops of the surrounding palm trees. The instructor, JoJo, was amazing. Clearly a very experienced fitness instructor, she brings such a friendly, welcoming and calming presence while also running you through a great workout. I will most certainly come back to this studio next time I’m in Phoenix, and highly recommend to anyone in the area!!

It's a bit disappointing to see a yoga studio that promotes inclusivity not quite living up to that ideal. I've been attending classes since the studio opened, and while I've enjoyed my time there, I've recently had an experience that left me feeling uncomfortable.

I always try to support minority communities, which is why I’ve encouraged friends to join me at the studio. However, during my last visit, I encountered another attendee who seemed to be giving us unfriendly looks throughout the class. Just to clarify, I'm Latino, and the person in question was a white woman.

On a positive note, I've really enjoyed classes with Luis, who is always great! It’s just a little disheartening to see that one incident could overshadow the warm and welcoming environment the studio aims to create. While Luis’s class was wonderful, I hope the community can work towards truly reflecting the inclusive values that it stands for.

Yoga Hause has truly impacted me and my yoga practice. Not only do they have a stunning view of downtown Phoenix, but they really have revolutionized what a yoga studio can be. I attended the Elevated Tea & Yoga Workshop with Gabbie, and it was such a special experience. I've never been to a workshop like this before, and it was really amazing to see the care that the team had put into everything. From the hospitality, down to the local THC-infused honey we were able to enjoy in delicious tea, I was blown away by the creativity, authenticity, and generosity Yoga Hause offers. The practice itself was very gentle, instead of the typical intense, hard-core practices you find around the valley, and I really loved the music we flowed to. I felt very peaceful and relaxed. It was really meaningful to practice this way because it felt like a very nurturing environment that really fosters community. On that note, the community that Yoga Hause has cultivated is INCREDIBLE! I was a little nervous going into a new studio for such an intimate event, but everyone was so welcoming and friendly, I immediately felt at ease and accepted. I usually hate icebreakers too, but the way Gabbie opened the door for us to introduce ourselves, I was genuinely inspired by everyone, and I also felt safe to share openly as well. It really excites me to know that Yoga Hause is leading the way in showing Phoenix what's possible in a yoga studio, practice, community, and business. If you're around downtown and you're ready to discover new possibilities about what your yoga practice can be, definitely try them out!

Yoga Hause really is the cat's meow. Conveniently located near the light rail, street parking and garage parking. It's secure, CLEAN, modern and open. The ceiling-floor windows with the city view just elevates the classroom experience for me. The teachers are the real deal. You will sweat and be challenged, but It's not necessarily about a workout or an aesthetic here. They're very intuned with the mind, body, spirit connection and super serious about building community. You'll see this exemplified right away with all the free event hostings held on the side and when an instructor asks your permission to verbally checkin with you or make adjustments to your physical posture mid class. The attention paid to details within the space and the individual students is evident. Love it here!

I did restorative yoga with Francess Andrews on 9/9/24 and it was such a great class. It was exactly what I needed. By the end of the class I was ready to sleep; which was perfect as it had been hard for me to get to sleep at night. Thank you Francess for providing a safe space of serene energy, restoring my spirit to find the peace within and helping me sleep better that night. 🎊🙌🏾😊🙏🏾

Heard about this place via social media. Seen they were having a grand opening downtown phx, decided to check it out! It’s so beautiful! The view is amazing! It’s street parking, not too bad of a walk. Got introduced to the teachers in the space and have been able to come to a few different classes. This place is very classy, and elegant. Perfect to rent and have a nice private event as well. 10/10 would recommend over and over again!
