Low traffic and clean. The price is affordable, and for a small town gym, it's more than adequate. The Owners or managers are nice, and they have cold drinks available for purchase. The gym is basic but adequate and the space has been utilized to include as much equipment as possible.

It's worth the cost. There are plenty of free weights and machines around the outside to hit the major muscle groups and get a great work out in. Since it's not that busy, you can get to the equipment without waiting to work in, generally speaking. You can't beat the price, and friendly staff is always a boon.

Oh God, the noise!

The owners play extremely loud, annoying music as they work out, and they SCREAM CONSTANTLY. They scream at each other. They scream at their children. They scream at people who are exercising. I guess they feel the need to scream because the music is so loud.

The other gym users also connect their phones to the gym's speakers and play the most obnoxious nu metal, rap, or pop country they can find.

I just want a quiet place to walk on the treadmill every evening and watch TV. Why are these people obsessed with filling the gym with painful noise? I guess I should point out that am autistic and loud noises are very painful for me.

One of the owners frequently monopolizes the weight equipment. I'd like to use the only bench press, but he sometimes occupies it for HOURS.

The equipment is frequently out of order. It's rare to find everything working correctly. The wifi and smart TV are awfully unreliable.

If you've ever wanted to conduct all of your workouts in the middle of a frat party, this gym is perfect for you.

EDIT: I posted this review on Facebook and the woman who owns and operates the gym blocked me for sharing the truth. Why does she allow people to review her business if she will delete all of the opinions she dislikes?

She has now canceled our membership and told us we are not welcome at her gym, because we would like the gym to be quiet.

She has sent my wife several rambling text messages this evening. The owner is not very bright, and has trouble coming to a point. She also appears to be struggling desperately to make this situation our fault somehow. The upshot of all of these communications is that she won't welcome us to her gym anymore.... presumably because the place might not be painfully loud any more.... or because she wants to keep it loud and annoying and doesn't want to be reminded that her behavior is reprehensible.

So, I have switched my review from two stars to one.

Oh, and the treadmill wasn't working tonight. It just wouldn't be Anatomy Academy if all the equipment were working.

I have been working with a Virtual Accountability Partner/Coach for 4 months now and through their guidance and hard work, I have lost 25 lbs and a total of 16 inches! I live in Ohio and am thankful for this virtual/"do from anywhere" service. The multiple times per day reminders, motivation, suggestions (exercise and diet), encouragement makes a big difference for me.

Very clean facility. The staff and clientele are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Tanning and a personal trainer are both offered at this facility. I recommend Anatomy Academy for everyone's fitness needs.
