I signed a two years contract about 4 years ago and decided I wasn't a fan of the gym so I brought myself out early and informed a anytime fitness employee I no longer wanted to be a member he told me he would cancel my membership due to me buying myself our of my contract. For two years now I've been unknowingly paying them out of my bank account not knowing I was a member! I call and the manager tells me I'll have to come in to fill out paperwork to start my process of canceling my membership. If you sign a two year contract and buy yourself out and inform them you no longer want to be a member they continue to take money out of your bank account. This place is a joke and they are SCAMING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY!!

I love this club!! Best club I’ve ever been apart of. The staff is friendly, motivating, helpful and encouraging! If you aren’t wanting to be in a crowded gym, anytime fitness in Jacksonville is the place for you!! I already went today but im thinking about another session this afternoon!! This facility feels like a second home for me!

I recently signed up. Yes there is a contract and its your job to read it before signing up. I did the 12 month contract and know the terms. Yes the price is'nt that cheap but again they tell you and its even on their website what the month premium is. I think alot of complaints I've read is due to lack of comprehension and reading. A contract is a contract. I love it cause its Close to home and they are'nt crowded. If I felt it was'nt sanitized I can always take my own.

This is a great gym they have enough equipment so even if its bust you dont have to wait on a weight machine and they have free weights, tanning beds ,the staff is real friendly, they also have personal trainers available. The price is not bad .ill keep my membership for good long time.

Clean facility with enough free weight spots that there should be no issue jumping in there and getting that lift on. No weight belts though have to bring your own. Open space for body exercises as well. Only reason did not get the 5th star is I am new to there place and staff did not seem friendly, more into what the was focused on.

They got one star only because it would not let me leave zero stars. I was told outright that since I lived more than 35 miles away I could cancel my membership with no penalty if my job situation changed. Well, after several months it did and I was told there was a penalty by Whitney Brown. I was outright lied to by staff. The place was not very clean and small and cramped but was close to work. I recommend you run the other way as far as you can from this scam of a gym.

Went in to find out about personal training and all the lady wanted was for us to pay the money and sign the contract. She said we had to join before we could even do a consultation for personal training. She was very pushy and really tried to get me to pay right then. Uh,no thanks

I AM CURRENTLY SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE WITH THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR HARASSMENT. I SHOULD HAVE HEEDED THE WARNINGS IN THE REVIEWS. ALTHOUGH, I ONLY SIGNED UP FOR A FREE TRIAL PASS, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW HARD IT IS TO DISCONTINUE MEMBERSHIP WITH THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY'VE CONTINUED TO CONTACT ME EVEN AFTER DECLINING THEIR OFFERS SEVERAL TIMES & I'VE ASKED TO BE REMOVE FROM ANY & ALL CONTACT LISTS SEVERAL TIMES BUT THEY HAVE YET TO DO SO. THIS MAY VERY WELL RESULT IN A LAWSUIT FOR HARASSMENT!!!!!!!!!

Their new management is great! Ashley is very nice, professional, and knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition and weight training. A lot of people seem to not like this gym due to the contract and pricing but if it was cheaper it would be saturated because it really is a great gym! It is definitely worth it with all of the perks they have and obviously it is a business and they have to make their money too. I’m so glad I decided to join!

Tried to walk-in during staffed hours and get the fine print on pricing (since they're notorious for their contracts) and info on any group classes. Was given minimal information and told I'd have to schedule an appointment. Scheduled an appointment and showed up at that time... The person I had to talk to wasn't available because the boss had been there that day. Ended up getting a tour from the same person that couldn't help me before. Then she asked if I could stay and wait around however long for Susie or be okay with rescheduling.
She pretty much just pushed their "perks" and training that they don't even have available until 11am. They're charging you $100 to sign up, $65 for the key so you can even get in the gym *when 24/7 access is something they vehemently advertise*, your monthly premium (which is basically $50), a yearly fee (another basically $50) AND another $40 for beautification yearly. So you want me to pay you all that money and you can't keep an appointment? And all I can't get before 11am is access to the gym.

The only perk is that you can workout anytime. It’s quite unsanitary. Broken equipment even though the enhancement fees come out of your account faithfully! They can’t maintain consistent management and refuse to be held accountable for poor customer service. I feel that my trainers body should be “goals” not “we need to get trained together”. The account manager has no control. Consider contacting the franchise owner who sends customer feedback emails if you have any problems. If Money gets tight or you forget to update card info, Never pay late fees or service fees! Just tell them to waive them.

Please be advised, once your contract ends and you become month to month (open), YOU HAVE TO PUT IN A 30 DAY NOTICE TO CANCEL. Make a copy and send certified to ABC financial just in case. Remember, you are signing a rental agreement not a membership agreement. Good Luck!

I don't have any use for it's membership, I moved to Texas any they still want me to pay them for membership service that I never use. Loco ppl, I don't have money to give away, im not Drake or married into a Kardashian family. Go some where, that don't have membership and that can let you pay by the day or as you go. 👎 ANYTIME FITNESS. it cost to much for what you get.

The gym is nice being 24/7 it's usually empty late in the evening and early mornings, but 4-7 is a nightmare. The gym manager gets upset if your too loud and pretty much looks angry all the time. They keep. The equipment in great shape. But never focus on re-reacking. Especially this old guy that wears scrubs comes in lifts the heaviest weights he can then leaves. The other staff always answer any questions for new people and I've seen the trainer Nick helping out a lot of people with proper form. All in all its a good gym but not the best. Worth the membership
