Update: I reside in Texas and I first visited this studio two years ago. This is a highlight of my visits when I come to see my daughter who is attending UARK. She is graduating this semester so I am a bit bummed I won't have a reason to come back and visit this great studio. Many excellent teachers. Highly recommended.

I am so very grateful for AYC. To the AYC team… thank you for creating such a warm, welcoming, accepting environment. The studio has become my cherished third place… the place after home and work that nourishes and reenergizes my soul and heart. After practicing at a few other studios here and in other states, it’s plain to see that what you all have created here is something very special. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This is, by far, the most beautiful and welcoming yoga studio in Arkansas and maybe well beyond. The studio was custom built for yoga and is stunning. The owner has been teaching for more than 25 years and her expertise is like a warm, welcoming hug. Wish I could give 10 stars!!!

I attended my first ever yoga class a few days ago. I was nervous at first, because I am 57 years-old, have some old sports injuries, and am not flexible at all. I thought I couldn't do yoga. However, I had no problem. Everyone there was at different levels, and the instructor told me how to modify the activities and poses so that I could do them without pain. I didn't compare myself to anyone else. I just did what my body could do for now, knowing that the more I do it, I'll be able to do more. I felt no embarrassment at all. It was so calm and relaxing.

I have attended two yoga classes here in the last week with different instructors and a different focus in each class. Having practiced β€œgym yoga” over the last year or so, I can say without a doubt this is far and away the true yoga practice we all need. Beautiful and serene surroundings with soft music, and instructors that teach and work with each participant to ensure they are getting the most out of their practice. The staff were friendly and welcoming; I would highly recommend Arkansas Yoga and Therapy Center for everyone.

I attended AR Yoga many years ago. Then came a long term health issue I left. My health issue is now under control. FIRST STEP for me was to reconnect with AR Yoga. Was worried if I would still fit in. Well I do! I am going 3-4 times per week. All different, great teachers. Some weeks I only attend Gentle classes but I have recently added a 1-2 class. Cannot recommend them enough. A great place with great people!

We are lucky in Northwest Arkansas to have some wonderful yoga studios, but there is no doubt that AR Yoga is my favorite. It's such a pleasant and easy environment. If you have any reservations about attending a class or joining the community, they melt away at the door. It seems like, over time, yoga has shifted a bit toward athleticism and away from a holistic mind/body practice in many studios, but not at AR Yoga. When I leave the studio, I feel better about myself, but I also feel better about the world around me. That's something we all need more of in our lives, especially now. There is one final thing that puts AR Yoga ahead of the curb for me, and it's the light. I'm stained glass artist and I love to watch light at play. The way the light moves through the studio creates such a peaceful and comfortable space. I love to watch it filter through the leaves in the back and through the wooden slats into the studio. It's worth joining just for the light. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed/

When I first attended classes at Arkansas Yoga Center in 2008 I felt welcomed as an individual, not β€œjust another student β€œ. AYC has a large selection of classes to explore and enjoy. All instructors are well trained, certified, and warm-hearted. The studios and garden are absolutely beautiful and peaceful, full of light and joy. With its variety of teachers and classes, it is the most accommodating studio in NW Arkansas for all levels of practice, whether just beginning yoga, healing from a life event, or for an experienced practitioner.

When I moved to Arkansas, I decided to try yoga and AYC. I was a little intimidated to try something new, but was met with genuine warmth and acceptance. As you walk into their beautiful studio, you immediately begin to feel a sense of peace. The instructors are very encouraging and provide modifications for the poses, so everyone can participate. That was over four years ago and since then, I have gained strength and flexibility, as well as reduced stress levels. More importantly, I found a "tribe" of cherished friends that I love. Once they were allowed to reopen, I immediately resumed my face-to-face classes. I have chosen the unlimited class package allowing me to attend any class I would like. Arkansas Yoga and Therapy Center and, owner, Andrea Fournet in Fayetteville offer a comprehensive list of yoga and meditation classes to ensure clients have a yoga class that is right for them. The instructors of the classes are dedicated to the practice of yoga and make sure all ages can experience the amazing effects and healing properties that yoga has to offer. Carrie Davis is the teacher for my class - her love for yoga, training, and education have enabled me to understand that I can only control what is on my (yoga) mat.

Thanks Andrea, Carrie, and all of the great staff at Arkansas Yoga for providing great instruction on yoga and how to harness the power of mind over matter! If you are looking for the best place to practice yoga, go to the Arkansas Yoga and Therapy Center!

Andrea, Christina, Carrie, Marilyn and everyone I have ever taken class from at AYC is incredible!! The classes are structured in a way that I've never seen at a yoga studio. The concept of "variyoga" makes all of the yoga classes extremely accessible to everyone, no matter your skill level. A lot of other studios claim this philosophy, but AYC is the only place I've ever been where that element is fostered throughout every class. Each instructor is trained to meet you where you are, not to push you to discomfort. Every time I leave AYC, I have learned so much about myself, my body, and my yoga practice. You can tell that Andrea and the other teachers truly know and understand the body and how each movement affects it and your lines of energy throughout your body. Time and time again I am impressed with their level of knowledge. I can't stress enough how unique and wonderful each class is at AYC. I highly recommend getting the new student unlimited package and trying every class on the schedule!

Just wanted to take a moment to THANK YOU again for your openness and willingness to let me come and share and connect at AYC.

Really enjoyed both of the classes and absolutely LOVE the Center you have created. Along with being beautiful in so many ways, the studio was also a very fantastic setting for the sound!

We will probably be coming back to the area in the spring, most likely April or May. Would love to discuss the possibility with you of perhaps offering some type of Sound Immersion experience at AYC when we come. Well, that and to see if there might be a class or two to pair up with. :)

If you're open to that I will reach out as soon as we have more definitive dates.

Mostly, this was just to say thanks again and let you know how much I enjoyed meeting you and connecting with your center and community of folks. You're doing a beautiful thing.

Love coming to AYC every time I'm in Fayeteville. The place in itself is gorgeous and has a very relaxing vibe (not to mention how nice everyone is here). Every class I've been helped my body + mind to be in the right place to start a day. And I can't thank enough to Andrea Fournet since both the VariYoga book & the DVD for backs, made by Andrea herself, were a true game changer on my recovery from a back injury. and that's what I do every morning when I'm back in NYC.

Last fall I was in Fayetteville for several weeks while my son had major surgery. As I cared for him, I was looking for support for me, as I knew I would be alone and stressed out. I was thrilled to find the Yoga Center. I attended several classes, and even tried Tai Chi. Everyone was warm and supportive as I maintained and expanded my practice. They helped me stay centered at a difficult time. I give a big thank you to everyone there! (And the surgery went very well for him!)

The Arkansas Yoga Center is a beautiful and pleasant place for yoga classes. Would you believe that the students look out on a lovely lawn with a running brook and singing birds fluttering around? It's true, and the instructors are professionally trained and kind and considerate. The class members are enthusiastic about their practice, and no one expects perfection. Even the receptionist has a big smile for all who walk through the door.

I have only been a member of the Arkansas Yoga Center for less than a month, but have already achieved one of my goals; which is normal blood pressure. I had heard that Yoga would be good for my high blood pressure, which diet nor medication had taken care of regulating. I am so pleased with the classes I've attended and have had 4 different teachers, enjoying all of them and the best part is that they each offered something different. I'm hooked -- I love Yoga.
