Before joining Culture Fitness I had a very different perspective on CrossFit and weightlifting in particular (really thought I couldn’t do it). I’ve come to understand that it’s not really about your body type or who you mentally think “fits” the prototype for this kind of exercise. It’s a journey and a very different one for everyone. You set your goals, how far and fast you want to go. And one day is never the same as the other, it’s not lineal and that’s ok. It’s more about how it makes you feel. ♥️ The instructor (Tia is the best) and great people you get to meet are also a +. 🙂

Definitely 5/5 and two thumbs up! I have been working out here for almost three months and have loved it! Tia is an uplifting coach that pushes you, helps you see your successes, and overall supports you. Culture Fitness has given me CrossFit workouts in an emotionally safe environment. I am six months post giving birth and feel like I am thriving due to the support system and to the wholistic health challenges I have participated in through the gym. I have now pushed to some of my highest PRs. Also, Tia really supports the community. Since I have been here, she has done three pushes for community nonprofit support. I found her through a donation to a nonprofit silent auction.

Tia was great at reintroducing me to group classes. This is the first time I've been back to a gym since Mar 2020 and I've been slowly getting back into regaining the strength and endurance I lost over the last couple of years. The warmups and exercises are an excellent way to spend an hour of your day, and the exercises can be scaled back to your skill set and capabilities - including catering to injuries or other ailments.
Moreover, Tia's use of technology has helped improve the overall experience from class scheduling to logging workouts, and even the InBody experience to track your progress. I use them all and I'm thankful I reached out to schedule my first free class which got me hooked!
I wouldn't consider this crossfit, but there are movements that can be complex and different from other places (think competition-style lifts like cleans, jerks, snatches, etc). But have no fear, Tia walks through all the movements one step at a time, and you have the option to pick the weight you're most comfortable and capable of while Tia watches your form to prevent injury.
I've been attending for a little over a month now and I look forward to many more months ahead! 💪

This class has been exactly what I've needed for years, but I never would've found this out if I didn't SHOW UP for that first class. I've just finished my third week, and I'm already reaping the benefits of this specific training. I'll be the first to say that my perception of this gym was like many others before I attended this class. I refused to attend because of the atmosphere portrayed by others or other media forms. However, through this class, I've found individuals from all walks of life at different fitness points, all with the same goal. You'll quickly feel the family atmosphere within this gym and how this has led to better accountability within myself to want not miss a class. Overall, I'm happy with Culture Health & Fitness.
