I quit this gym. Something is always broken and their billing dept is awful. I added my card on file seriously like 10 times and kept telling them to use that card every month and every month I’d have to put the same card back on file. I finally cancelled. Finished out my 12 month contract, paid my final bill and then a month later they try to bill me for double. After I already got my cancellation processed with email confirmation that my account was cancelled with no balance. I emailed them again and they have no answers. Confirming again I don’t have a balance and they aren’t sure what happened. Beware people. It’s super annoying. Go to a different gym.

This is a good gym, but this gym is managed poorly. My car was broken into and staff was no help. They wouldn’t even allow me to wait inside until the police came so I waited outside in my car, alone for an hour until police came. Someone stole my wallet and spent all of my money and kept my drivers license and staff told me that they have cameras outside but they don’t work. when filing my police report I found I was one of several members that had been stolen from. I have heard from members that theft occurs frequently and staff do not help. This is ridiculous. I had my AirPods stolen months before inside the gym and found that they don’t have working cameras inside the gym either. What is the point of having a security system that doesn’t work and paying a high monthly rate? I don’t feel safe working out here especially by myself.

This gym used to be great, but it's becoming nasty and poorly managed now.

The amenities are not kept up well anymore. Maintenance on broken equipment takes forever. The saunas are a 50/50 functional. The hot tub is nasty for not being cleaned regularly.

It’s an alright gym. I used to love it. They have good staff and lots of amenities, but the longer I have had the membership, the more disappointed I have become. There is always something broken and it takes forever to get fixed, the steam room is always messed up or doesn’t have the eucalyptus in it like it says it does. The hours compared to other gyms kinda sucks. Especially on the weekends, and the biggest killer is how expensive it is. The stuff I mentioned above wouldn’t normally bother me that much, but for being the most expensive gym in Fayetteville, I feel like the above issues shouldn’t be a problem.

What happens when you get up at 6 am to go swim but they don't have any towels? I guess you burn the gas for the 20 minute drive back to the house and forget the whole workout. At least they said, "Sorry." I guess if they refunded my 16 cents for the towel service today, it would mean about as much. Moral: if you pay for towel service here, bring your own towel as well.
Pool deck is always dirty. It would be nice if they had a bench to set YOUR towel on (if you brought one) so it wouldn't have to sit in filth. I know they haven't even swept it this month (today is the 26th). It's been 2 months since I've smelled a hint of eucalyptus in the stream room; guess they think it only requires a yearly application. Wish I knew what holiday that was!
I wish NWA knew something about service and maintenance.

Good new first, the staff are all knowledgeable, professional and kind, and the facility is extremely well managed. The only problem I have in that respect is that management needs to hold the members accountable for misusing equipment and leaving things a mess.
During peak hours it’s still totally possible to get in a good workout, provided everyone is doing their part, which they don’t. It’s a difficult problem to fix, but necessary if you want more people to join without expanding the capacity.
If you’re looking for a gym, I strongly encourage you to check them out before signing up anywhere else. Their guest pass is almost too cheap for what you get with it. I hope this business continues to thrive and more people become healthier because of it 💪🏼

Joined to swim. To use the pool, you “can” reserve slots in lanes to swim for up to an hour, but there are only 3 lanes, with one person reserving per lane. The peak time slots are all booked up for the week, every week by Monday.

It has everything that I want in a fitness club.

If you're looking for a personal trainer, Mike Osborn is a good one. He helped me get back into a routine, provided excellent feedback, and set me up for success.

The kids area is nice, the schedules are accommodating, the club isn't too busy at any one time, and the staff are helpful and informative.

I like it here, not love. But it's super clean, all the machines work. It can get super busy and for me at least makes it feel overwhelming and I find myself leaving earlier. Really don't like how when I signed on it wasn't clearly mentioned that not all of the classes are included in the membership and they run your fifty something bill up 5 bucks PER class when it's already kind of up there in the pricing anyways. Reason for not giving the extra star. We love the childcare the kids actually ask to come back to this one. The sauna is really nice too. I just wish the classes I actually like weren't an extra run up on my membership. I probably won't renew it when my time is up because of that.

I see some of the negative reviews and I get the ones where there was poor customer service but I don’t get the ones where people are complaining about having to go through a lot to cancel. I worked out for 10 months there and then proper form and a month to cancel. I knew you had to do this bc at almost all gyms you have to. I am going to join again soon bc it is the best gym in nwa as far as equipment goes. I love elm street gym but it is just a little to far for me. As a former Planet Fitness member I was skeptical of the whether or not I would receive a better membership and amnesties for a little bit more money.
I knew I was sold once Bryn answered the phone. Bryn is knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and I could feel her smile and attitude encouraging me to try Fitness One through the phone.

The gym in itself has everything you could need in a facility. There is plenty of equipment for you to get a solid lift in and the staff is friendly. However, there are some improvements that should be made to enhance the quality of the gym. For starters, the dumbbell rack should have weight labels so that they are placed back in the correct location. It is a pain seeing mismatch and incorrectly placed weights. Along with that, a majority of the barbells and self-loading machines are covered in rust which I feel should be cleaned more regularly. Additionally, the equipment typically has tears in the padding that has not been fixed in a while. As for a personal preference, I think some of the machines could be removed and replaced with cables because they are typically in high demand with not a large supply. Overall, I believe these are small updates that can greatly take this gym from just being good to being great.

I’ve been coming for a couple years. Nice gym but they still have not extended their hours. I’ve asked before covid was an issue. During the height of covid they were unable due to money loss, okay understand. But everytime I go, it busy to where i am unable to get on machines. So at this point why not extend the hours to at least 11pm before covid and the weekend hours are trash. Should be the same as weekdays. And now I just called asking about masks.. still required yet no one wears inside but we have to wear coming in and out which makes no sense and CDC says we don’t need to wear anymore if vaccinated.

So they recently implement a list policy for the pool where you can sign up for slots to swim. They come out every other week. It seems like a reasonable thing. However, there are three people who take every spot for the next two weeks from 5-7. I got to work and I have a son that I have to take to school. It's not fair that I will not be able to swim for two weeks because someone can sign up for every spot. So if you decide to sign up for a membership because of the pool good luck swimming for the next two weeks.

Special thanks to Jackson for his excellent customer service. I called to ask about a guest pass while there were technical difficulties at the gym. Needing to return to work, I hung up. It wasn't a couple of minutes that Jackson called back and apologized.

I visited the gym and found Jackson most helpful and down-to-earth friendly. He provided a free three day trial, which only required two quick signatures, one for Covid liability. Upon departing, I witnessed Jackson giving an outstanding tour to a prospect.

I am a member of a community gym undergoing transition and which I have deep social ties. I'd sign-up for a Fitness One membership in a heartbeat if it weren't for this and if there were distinguishable signs of community. Their equipment is new and well-kept, their facility is super clean. Also, the music isn't blaring.

With social distancing being a priority nowadays, Fitness One is the only fitness center big enough to space out all of its nice equipment so that you can exercise away from others. They clean everything thoroughly and provide a safe environment for you to get away from the house and help you build a healthy body. Overall, this is a great gym. It has tons of equipment, yoga classes, cycling classes, a sauna, a steam room, a pool, and basketball and racquetball courts, and it's really clean. Also, there are no contracts - you pay month by month. Staff is friendly.

My biggest issue is that they don't have towels. I've been to dirt cheap, bare bones gyms that had towels.

Some other minor issues that I have with this gym: it closes pretty early on Saturdays and Sundays (8 pm), there's no Crossfit class (though, they DO have an interval training class, so not really a big deal), and they don't have any punching bags.

Being that I travel a lot, I am always super thankful to be back at my home gym. This gym has so much to offer and sure, we can get nit picky on small issues but a lot of the well known gyms I have gone to while traveling don't even compare to Fitness One. Staff are super awesome and always willing to help. I am there at the same time 5 days a week and there is always someone on the floor cleaning. With that said, often times a piece of cardio equipment will not work properly but there are usually plenty more to work with and things do break from time to time but they have been quick to get it fixed, but my nit picky item deals with space. When the personal training section upstairs is being used, often times they will obstruct the flow of members coming up the stairs. I have watched people come up and not know what direction to go just to get around those training. But that is just my nit picky opinion. Overall, I love this gym and would highly recommend it.

This gym was really great in the beginning. They no longer keep it clean. Considering the monthly fee it should be clean this is imperative for a gym. The staff is always standing around. Locker rooms are dirty. I can't even tell you how many times I have to go to the desk and report no soap or paper towels for hand washing. Please keep it clean and keep the bathrooms stocked. for the price, the facility should be immaculately kept. Men's locker rooms are pretty filthy and smell terrible. Dust everywhere in the gym, especially the cardio area.

Awesome gym!! Everything is new, and clean!! bring a towel if you plan to shower as this gym does not have towels but everything else you need! just show up!

I love this gym. I've grown very comfortable with the staff and equipment. Sarah is awesome, she is so nice and makes you feel very welcome. Most of the machines and equipment have instructions on them. Some even have a QR code so you can view videos of the correct way to use the machine. There is a lot of wonderful amenities like a saltwater pool, sauna and steam room (one located in each locker room), basketball court and racket ball. I haven't been to the classes yet but the ones coming out look like they've enjoyed it. They also offer personal trainers and a kids club is available during certain hours. I highly recommend this gym.
